"Hehehe. My, my. What do we have here?"
I couldn't see where the voice was coming from.
I started getting paranoid so I ran as fast as I could before I hit something that made me fall to the muddy floor.
The shadow started to enclose me, I shut my eyes.
"Well, (y/n), you are truly beautiful." His voice was soothing.
"W-who are you? And how do you know my name?"
"Hehe. Do not fear child, it is me, Laughing Jack. I've known you for years, you know me but have never been aware of me."
He had a comforting smile.
"Oh dear, you are dirty. We can't have that."
Before I knew it, I was swept up into his arms. I giggled.
"Hahaha. I love your laugh, it's adorable." I felt my cheeks blush many shades of red.
The amusement park was nearly an hour away, so it was a long walk. For some reason I felt safe in his arms.
"I would offer you some candy but I don't think you'll like them."
I could feel myself drifting off in his arms.
I slept the rest of the way home
