BACKSTORY.
LORELAI ;; 6 years old.
"mom! could we go to the park?" I asked, looking up at her as I smiled.
"sure, do you want to go right now?" She responded.
I nodded expeditiously and she grabbed her keys off of the counter, which made me hold her hand.
I started walking out the door; slightly making me pull her with me.
Mom stopped at the doorstep to lock the door, after that, we continued walking.

We soon got to the park and I ran to the monkey bars first.
(a/n: ew children)
I dropped from the monkey bars as I finished them and saw another girl sitting at the swings.
I smiled as I ran up to them and sat next to them.
I started swinging silently until they started talking.
"hi." They spoke.
"hello," I stopped swinging and turned my head to the other.
"whats your name?" They smiled.
"it's lorelai, what's yours?" I responded.
They started, "i'm harvey."
"i like your name!" I started swinging again, Harvey did too.
"really? i like yours too." Harvey said as I heard her smile in her voice.
"thank you!" I thanked.
