[inspired by Red Red Red by Fiona Apple]

he was the sunny days where i am the perpetual gloom.

as you blossom and spread; im wilting amongst the grass; my poor dried up leaves break off and drift with the wind you so carelessly breathe.

when i first saw you, i could see the sunshine pumping through your veins; i noticed how whenever you spoke, rays of sunshine would pour out of your so beautiful lips.

the storm clouds inside of me would part; making way for your enduring sun; hoping that with you near me i could be some sort of happy.

oh, how wrong i was.
i saw how quickly your sunny days could turn into thunder; our storm clouds clashing created ungodly hurricanes yet the only thing we would destroy was ourselves.

did you really love me?

the rain is pouring from inside of me; instead of embracing my storms you hide away with umbrellas and jackets.
the wind is blowing through me; rather than dancing in it you just close your windows.
the thunder is clashing into me; why did i expect you to love me?
you always were afraid of thunder.

you were yellow, and i was blue.
but all i could see was red, red, red, red.
what was i supposed to do?
