I was still sitting on the beach, now reading. It was around 3:30 pm. Suddenly, I heard someone sigh next to me and I close my book to see who it is.

I saw Carlos. He was looking at the waves. I put my book down on my lap.

"Hey," I said, softly.

"Hey," he said, softly looking at me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"It's really quiet here so I just came here to think," He said.

"Think about what?" I asked.

"About what happened a few hours ago," He said.

It took me a few seconds to realize what he meant. When I realized what he meant, I sighed.

"I'm really sorry about my grandma. It's just she's kind of self-absorbed." I told him, sadly.

"It's okay, It's not your fault," He said, softly.

He smiled softly at me as I smiled back.

"Don't worry, someday, she'll understand," I told him.

He nodded, "Yeah, someday."

"And maybe someday hopefully there be a time where heroes would understand villains," I told him, softly.

He smiled, "Yeah, someday,"

Unexpectedly, he stood up and held out his hand.

"What are you doing?" I asked him.

"For a walk on the beach," He answered as I took his hand.

We started to walk on the beach. We just let the comfortable silence do the talking.

{Carlos}

I know it might be crazy
But did you hear the story?

{Aaron}

I think I heard it vaguely

{Carlos}

We both ended up inches away from each other. We could feel each other's breathing as our noses were almost touching. We both slowly started to lean in until we felt our lips connect.

Our lips were in sync. He was kissing me softly and gently. I could feel his smile against mine. Our last kiss was amazing but this one was more passionate and I loved every bit of it.

We both pulled away. He looked at me before hugging me. I froze but hugged back a few seconds later. I felt safe in his arms. We stayed like this for a few minutes before we both pulled away and went back to our dorms cause it was getting dark.

The only thing on my mind when I was going back to my dorm was I have never wanted someone so badly...
