Red got what she wanted. Simpleng ceremony, garden wedding with yellow roses everywhere and no Tanya. Simpleng Grecian-cut white gown ang suot niya, because she's already four months pregnant. They made Vince the best man since he's done a lot for the both of them.
Nag-honeymoon sila ni Troy sa Santorini, and Paris. They didn't make it so strenuous dahil ilang buwan na lamang ay manganganak na siya. Troy didn't mind. He's over the moon dahil magkakaanak na silang dalawa.
And then there's also that issue with her name.
"I'd like to keep my last name," she told him one after their wedding, when they're on their way to the honeymoon.
"Bakit? Ayaw mo ng apelyido ko?"
She shook her head. "It's not that. It's just... kilala na ako bilang Red. Kapag apelyido mo yung ginamit ko, e di hindi na ako RED. REA na. Can you imagine? REA? Walang impact!"
Troy laughed at her absurd remark.
"Tapos kapag naman hyphenated, REDA ang kalalabasan. Ang sagwa!"
"You're being ridiculous." Hinila siya nito at hinalikan. "You'll still be Red kahit apelyido ko ang gamitin mo. Kaya apelyido ko na ang gagamitin mo, okay?"
She sighed. "Well, I guess I just have to get used to it."
Sumandal siya rito. She raised a finger and wrote her name in the air.
"I guess it still has a nice ring to it. Red Aragonza."
