Dictionary definition: Closeted and in the closet are adjectives for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, LGBTQ+ people who have not disclosed their sexual orientation or gender identity and aspects thereof, including sexual identity and sexual behavior.
My explanation: Someone that has not told others about their sexual/romantic orientation and/or gender.
If you are closeted but want to come out, make sure it is safe for you to come out.
If you know someone that is closeted, do not tell others unless they say you can.
