Hello, daddy.
We rarely chat,
but I know in my heart,
that we've always been so close.

I am proud of you, daddy.
For doing everything you can to make this family strong,
Against all odds,
You didn't give up.

I remember when I was a little girl,
You were driving the motorcycle,
We had this some sort of accident
'Cause I covered your eyes with my hands.

Thank God, we survived.
Nothing bad happened.
I am so sorry for that day,
I don't know maybe you've forgotten about it 'cause it's been so long.

Daddy, don't you remember
When I was like 4,
I travelled with you in Iloilo
It was the first time I slept somewhere without mama on my side.

I also remember another memory,
It was when I went with you to Manila.
We were travelling on a boat
And I got sick there afterwards.

I remember what happened.
You asked me to join the singing contest there.
Unfortunately, I got sick because of the microphone.
There's some sort of virus, oh no!

When we arrived at Manila,
You had your training there.
You left me with my cousins at the mall and gave me money.
I bought shoes, swimsuit and a lip gloss for myself.

I also remember when you used to film me,
I used to ramp a lot.
I used the remote control as my microphone,
And I kept on saying, "John Lloyd, John Lloyd." (But Jake Cuenca was my first celeb crush, haha)

I think I'm not scared of travelling alone, because of you.
I think I got it from you, dad.
You've always been so brave
Whether it be the 4 swab tests you've had, you were still brave enough.

I know I put some humor on this,
Because I got my fascinating humor from you.
This naughty side of me
That I sometimes use to make people happy.

Daddy, I miss you.
I don't want to cry because I know you're doing everything you can for our family.
But I want you to know
That your hardwork will soon pay off.

That I will pursue my dreams,
Have a job,
Take care of you and mama
And be a better sister for my siblings.

I love you daddy,
Happy happy Valentine's.
Thank you for being the best dad to me,
And for being the best captain out there.
