Kilig is one of my favorite words. As an adjective, it means causing or characterized by a feeling of exhilaration or elation. While as a noun, it simply means a feeling of exhilaration or elation caused by an exciting or romantic experience.
To me, it means something more. In my own perspective, kilig is a feeling you get when someone you like does something special to you. I always get kilig not because of something or someone else, but because of what I'd get to receive each day.
Whether it's a simple gift, letter or award, I always get kilig. I have this feeling whenever I accomplish something, this feeling that makes me feel alive. It's kilig. Kilig is not just for romantic stuffs, it's for everything.
It's the little things in life that make me kilig. The unexpected things I least expect the most which bring me joy, it makes me feel kilig.
