Entering the palace was different Yautja walked pass bowing their heads Kyle had to return the movement a few times as they passed other yautja walking down a hall it felt less odd walking to the left the two entered a bedroom the walls were a red marble like substance while the room was a little colder than outside still warm Kyle thought about the temperature of the planet getting a shiver from but Ua'sa didn't notice or Kyle thinks he didn't Ua'sa walked over and sat on a black bed sitting in the middle of a wall while the floor was a cream colour with a char coal wardrobe sitting in a corner big enough for someone to lay in while the curtains next to it were red and open showing a decant balcony with a few chairs to sit in
Kyle: you really like red don't you Ua'sa: I don't really like it but that's the way it was set I tried changing it in the settings but that's what happened with the bed but if you can figure out how to exactly work it let me know cause I hate the red Kyle: so why do your kind need servants for Ua'sa: they don't I hate the idea I don't even want you to be my servant I want you to be an equal to everyone and yet this is my world Kyle: it's fine I'll only play that part when I have to be a servant does that sound good to you Ua'sa: I guess but I still think of it as unfair Kyle: and why is it that it's not like I won't be up to the task I do know a lot plus I guess you could say I was serving under others back from where I'm from I mean I serve in the army I do what others tell me to do
Ua'sa cocked his head to the side wondering why as Kyle walked out onto the balcony looking over the village past that was a forest knowing all homes were high tech Kyle thought about how they would get the materials for it spotting a few Yautja walking around as the sun was one-fourth of the way down when Ua'sa walked out to stand with him Kyle smiled
Ua'sa: what do you mean that you served others all the time Kyle: right my job in the army you see the army is- Ua'sa: I know what that is but do you volunteer for that Kyle: well sort of it's a job you can have and get paid for I'm doing it for my sister so she can have enough money to raze her young one as the father abandoned her and I got the news so I asked to be paid so I could support her when I'm gone I guess she'll get the money now Ua'sa: so what does this army do when there nothing going on Kyle: well most of the time they do simulations where they see how someone would do in a problem like one of the ones I faced was that everyone in a base was killed and I was all that was left I had to defend the base Ua'sa: ok well I guess that's a good way to know how someone can act but I mean Oomans always turn on each other Kyle: I know it's why governments exist but it's just as worse now I mean more wars are breaking out more people are dying and I don't like it I bet ten major events have already happened since we left Ua'sa: speaking of earth did you find your things in the ship cause it looks like you haven't touched them Kyle: what I didn't know my stuff was there I guess I just didn't find it Ua'sa: well before we left earth I went back to that area you were staying at I picked up your things well at least what looked like it was working I'll ask to have it brought here my dad won't let us out for a bit as he get's paranoid at night so one of my friends will help Kyle: I thought- Ua'sa: well guard friends he's fine with it... we should get some rest there's a lot of work in the coming cycles
Ua'sa slept on the bed while Kyle slept on the couch not feeling comfortable sleeping in a bed with a Yautja Kyle had a good night's rest being the couch was comfortable enough to feel like clouds being used to hard surfaces
