Chapter 6

I awaken in the bed next to Peeta. Today is Thursday. My son has the day off from school. I told him that we could go visit his god father Haymitch.
"Hey Breadcakes," I hear Peeta say as I look over at him. I smile and say
"Hey Cakey"
"I like that name, can call you me that?" He says with a chuckle.
"Okay," I respond.
I go to get my son ready to see Haymitch. I wonder what story he will tell me about Haymitch tomorrow.
Finnick,Peeta, and I walk to Haymitch's house. I knock on the door, and to my surprise Effie opens it.
"Katniss, darling, I have some news to tell you!"
She sounds excited and happy. I don't know what to expect at this point.
"Finnick?"
"Yes, mother?"
"I need you to go with Peeta for a moment while I talk to Haymitch and Effie."
Then he walks with his father, looking like his younger version.
"Katniss, do you remeber Finnick?"says Haymitch.
"Yes, I-I do."
"Well, we seemed to have found him, he's alive"
"What?"
I don't know how to feel. He was my friend, and I thought he died. He was dead and gone. I used my son to keep his memory. Before I can even say anything else Finnick(Victor) walks to see me.
I am learn a new thing everyday.
