EVERYTHING WAS WEIRD

FROM ME AND KIO ARGUING

TO ME POSSIBLY HAVING FEELINGS FOR MY EX

it drove me mad not knowing what to do because kio was such a nice guy he wouldn't dream of intentionally breaking someone's heart and if he did he wanted to be nice but something wasn't there I had been lying to myself I wanted Jaden to leave me but I just couldn't fake it until I make it

because maybe I wasn't faking it

my thoughts were soon cut of with a loud honk I stood up from my bed heading to the door I opened it seeing kio standing there and vinnie the car behind him

I WASNT READY FOR THIS

KIO:can i come in
he asked

EMILY:uhh sure
I replied letting him in I turned around looking at vine I sat in his car giving me a smile and a thumbs up

I watched as kio walked into my apartment into the living room and taking a seat on the couch

I HAD JUST MOVED OUT OF COLSONS HOUSE

KIO:I wanna make this quick okay
he replied keeping the same straight face as before

EMILY:uh- totally
I replied trying to take in what was happening

KIO:look I'm sorry for what happened and I really did like you but I get that you still in love-

EMILY:love is a strong word kio and I'm-

KIO:em your my bestfriend and I love you but we shouldn't stayed friends we just got too carried away
he said looking down

EMILY:uhh-Yeah so friends
I asked my heart pumping knowing i didn't wanna loose kio as a friend

KIO:friends
he looked up and smiled at me I pulled him in for a quick hug

KIO:hey um I think you should talk to Jaden

I practically choked on thin air

EMILY:i don't think I should
I relied sighing

KIO:you can't ignore him forever
he said
Zit reminded me of the time riley had told me that when I first saw Jaden again

EMILY:oh but I can
I replied

KIO:but you're not going to your getting in the car with me and vinnie and we are going to go to sway and your gonna talk to him
he said hyping me going back to being my best friend

EMILY:no-
before I could protest he had pulled me up and was pushing me towards the door

once we got into the car I sat there while vinnie and kio hyped me up telling me about everything that was going on with Jaden and for what felt like ages we were finally at the sway house

my stomach was in knots I was so nervous I took a deep breath and opened the car door stepping out

VINNIE:em it's gonna be fine
he said placing a hand on my shoulder

KIO:yh it's gonna be fine
he said placing his hand on my other shoulder

I walked into the house it was quite well what did I expect it was late at night I wasn't even sure if Jaden was awake

KIO:see you later
he said pushing my back towards the stairs

Vinnie gave me a small smile as I watched them both jump on the couch turn in the tv as I began to walk up the familiar stairs

Once I had got to the top I looked to see a small light on in jadens room

I WAS REALLY HOPING HE WAS ASLEEP

I took another long deep breath before heading towards the door I stood in front of the door raising my hand to knock quietly before I could change my mind

I heard a small mumble guessing it was Jaden I was taking that as a yes

EMILY:hey Jaden
I said softly but loud enough for him to hear

I watched as his head flew up as he turned around quickly his eyes immediately placed on mine

JADEN:emily
he questioned

EMILY:thats me
I replied walking over to his bed sitting down on the opposite end

JADEN:I-uhh this is-

EMILY:unexpected I know
I replied playing with the rings on my fingers
