I said as I lifted my head but looking out the window to the bright sun

I was In New York and it's not most days that you wake up to the sun

I came to New York because I know that nai lived here and she would have my back so when I left I texted her asking if I could live with her for a little bit she agreed and now I live here with her wonderful roommate Emma as in Emma chamberlain yes the fashion icon and YouTuber if I'm being honest I didn't even know they lived together let alone even know each other until I came here

Nai replied as I got up out of my bed I was wearing a oversized t-shirt with some shorts

I said as she nodded and left me room

I walked towards the bathroom door opening it and looking into the mirror I had cut my hair so it was short and bleached parts of it some would say it's a glow up but I just decided to change my whole aesthetic after leaving LA

Today I was actually in a positive bad bitch mood so I took my phone and opened tiktok looking at my empty page comments filled with

I had unfollowed all my friends so I wasn't following anyone really and I hadn't posted in 7 months I found a sound that was on my favourites and filmed a tiktok I put it in my drafts

I walked out of my bedroom and into the kitchen that was in the apartment I had being staying In for the past 7 months

I replied to them laying back in the chair

I watched there faces dropped they knew something didn't they

I said crossing my arms looking around at my friends

NAILEA:look we heard you in your room singing the other day and me and Emma thought we would talk to colson

I said raising my voice a little

EMMA:we know he is messaging you asking to talk to him look we know you have been going through a tough time over the past months but I think you should get back out there and plus you can't ignore him forever

before I could say anything nai Interrupted me 

NAILEA:so we talked to him and he said you could stay with him in LA for a bit since I'm going back to my family home

EMMA:and I got my own apartment

NAILEA:we think you should spend some time with colson and then find a apartment we love living together I think we can all agree

NAILEA:but you can't hide in New York forever Come on please for me and Emma please
She said to me

EMILY:okay but if Jaden comes near me I'm coming straight back here

She replied laughing a little

EMILY:I guess I should go pack
I said taking in a deep breath and standing up

They nodded as they continued talking I sat on my bed a took out my phone and when to colson contact
