Draco's POV

Now that I told Harry my plan things have been going much more smoothly. We already killed Dumbledore now all we needed to do was wait.

The whole school was now outside at Dumbledore and Snape's funeral. I was a little sad that my godfather had died but then again if you get in the way then it's your fault.

It was my turn to speak so I stepped up on the platform. The staff was making every student speak in memory of them. Kinda stupid if you ask me.

I surveyed the crowd then smiled. I leaned down so the mic was by my mouth and spoke.

"It absolutely shatters my heart that not one, but two people I was very close to have died. Snape was my godfather and a mentor. And Dumbledore was like a second father at school. They will forever be remembered in my heart,"

Then I stepped off the platform, the teachers and students clapped for me. I must say, I didn't exceptionally good at acting today. I stood in my spot and Harry walked up to the podium.

"I too had very close connections with the victims. Snape was a family friend and Dumbledore helped me quite a bit. I will never forget them," Harry said.

Everyone clapped again. He came back and whispered in my ear.

"Your a very good actor, maybe I could get a private lesson sometime," he whispered.

I blushed madly and looked away muttering incoherent responses.

We had to listen to a few more more s people speak before that weird janitor guy with the cat came running up with a piece of paper.

Right on time.

"It's from the minister of magic!" He yelled.

Professor McGonagall took the letter and read it. She frowned but quickly put on a smile.

"According to the minister of magic, Lucius Malfoy, his son Draco will now be the 'headmaster'," she said.

Everyone gasped and looked at me. I pretended I was just as shocked.

I went back up to the podium.

"I am shocked, I didn't know this would happen but someone had to take over his job. And don't you think it's better for someone that is near your age to lead the school. I hope to make the school the best it's ever been," I said cheerfully.

All of the students clapped but barely any teachers did. Of course they wouldn't, they wanted this position, McGonagall especially.

I stepped down for the second time. Harry was wearing a smug smirk on his face as I came over and stood next to him. He put his arm around my waist glaring at anybody who even looked my way.

I rolled my eyes. Like anybody would even try to take me from him. A few weeks ago a girl gave me flowers and the next day she had a broken leg. Harry swore he didn't do anything but we all knew damn well it was him.

The rest of the funeral was boring, nothing too noteworthy happened. Except Ron falling off the podium mid speech.

When it was done Harry and I walked back into the castle. McGonagall showed us where we would be staying from now on.

Well really I was the only one that was supposed to be staying in that room but Harry argued enough with her that she gave in.

It was a plain room, I'm guessing all the decorations had been taken out after Dumbledore died. McGonagall showed us around. It was like an apartment.

After she finally left Harry flopped on the couch.

"That was dumb," I said sitting next to him.

"Look on the bright side, we can now shag without having to put up a silencing charm or going to another room," he said. (A/N: will be used in future chapters)

I hit him playfully, of course the first thing he would think of is sex. He wouldn't be Harry if he didn't.

"Are you ready for tomorrow?" Harry asked.

"I sure hope so," I mumbled.

Phase three is now in motion.
