Harry's POV
when the ambulance came only Neville and I went in there with draco, the rest went in a car
"I have a heart beat! hes breathing!" the man in the ambulance said to the driver.
"i dont know how long we will have him, can you go any faster for god sake?!" he said again
"see harry, hes gonna be okay" Neville said, again I didnt listen to him, it's like he thinks I'm a child, I did hear him say "I dont know how long we will have him"
as soon as we got to the hospital they rushed draco out leaving me and Neville to get out on our own. I started to shake again as my crying got worse. Neville picked me up and carried me to the waiting room. he kept me in his lap and rubbed my back as we waited.
"for Mr Malfoy?" a doctor said walking in. i stood up instantly
"is there a Mr Potter here?" he asked again
"yeah that's me" I mumbled. he smiled
"hes asking for you" he said. I gasped
"hes awake?!" I said in shock. he smiled and nodded his head
"he had a bullet proof vest on, hit the back of his head in fall and that's how he got knocked out, we were only losing him from the blood loss from his leg but besides that he is completely fine. we asked him to rest before we let you in but he refused" he said. I instantly ran to his room. he was sitting up, a nurse beside him
"here he is" she said to him and smiled before leaving. draco looked at me and smiled
"well come over here" he said opening up his arms. I ran over to him and held onto him tightly
"I fucking hate you, why did you leave" I whispered before crying again. he kissed my head and rubbed my back
"I'm sorry... but I couldn't let them take you" he said softly
"he was going to" I said pulling back to look as him.
"what? he didnt touch you did he?!" he asked
"he picked me up and carried me to your body... I thought you were dead and I kicked him rather hard a couple of times to he droped me and then ran to you, he thinks your dead and that's why he let me go" I said. dracos face droped and he placed his hand on my face brushing the messy hair away
"sorry I worried you so much my love" he said softly kissing my head
"did anyone on our side die?" he asked. I shook my head, I seen them all in the waiting room
"okay... good" he said softly. he moved over in the bed and patted the empty space for me. using the remote he put the bed back so he wasn't sitting up and pulled me into his arms
"I'm exhausted, I'm sure you are too, sleep." he said softly playing with my hair. I cuddled into his chest, all my anxiety and worry slipping away as he held me, his heartbeat in my ear and his breathing calmed me down.

Neville helped me into bed as harry and the others carried all his belongings inside. we had gone to Harry's house to collect them.
Neville pulled the blankets on top of me and smiled
"rest, you need it" he said smiling
"can you get uncle sev?" I asked as he was about to leave. he nodded his head and walked out. it felt good to be in my own room again
"hey babe?" harry said running into the room
"yes, love?" i replied
"is it okay if I go see my mum? seamus and dean offered" he asked. I smiled and nodded my head
"but come here first" I said. he smiled and walked over to me laying next to me and kissing my cheek. i smiled widely
"you wanted me?" my uncles cold voice said from the doorway
"lily potter, you liked her yes?" I asked. what I was about to ask was even a surprise to harry, I only said this to Neville and blaise.
"yes... we are friends you could say... why do you ask?"
"she cant go back to the home she lives in... I was wondering if she could live here, out in your part of the house if it's not to much trouble" I asked. harry jumped into my lap and kissed my face loads making severus cringe
"really?! she can?!" harry almost yelled.
"ah... I guess that wouldn't be a bad idea" severus said. I smiled at him and nodded my head
"okay, I still have to make sure shes comfortable with that" I said, when uncle left I pulled Harry's head to mine and kissed him soundly
"thank you for thinking of letting her stay here" he mumbled. I smiled and kissed him one more time before letting him get up.
"jacket, love! it's cold" I said as he was about to walk out the door. he smiled and walked over to the chair in the room and grabbed one of my jackets
"I'll be back as soon as I can" he promised as we walked out putting my jacket on. I smiled to myself and closed my eyes
I love harry, more then I thought I could love anyone. we have been through so so much together, i cant wait for the day I'm able to marry him, maybe even adopt children. I wished I had met him sooner... my life got better the second he walked onto that basketball court for a game.
