Chapter 4

Sadie's POV:

That night, Carri stayed over.

"So..." She said while holding my bow in her hand. "Are you gonna wear this tomorrow?"

I looked at the bow. 

"I don't know. What if they say it's ugly and make me take it off?"

"Add some prep accessaries to it."

Again, I looked at the bow.

"I guess I'll do that."

She hugged me and whispered something I couldn't really make it out.

Carri's POV:

"I wish you could be yourself without being afraid of them." I whispered too low for her to hear.

I smiled and offered to watch movies until we passed out on the couch.

Sadie shot up out of her seat and went to get the movies.

I instantly got out my phone.

Chance...Chance...Gotcha!

"Why did you do that?"

"Do what?"

"You know what I'm talking about...the bow?"

"Oh..I don't know..."

"Bull shit. Tell me"

"Ugh...okay. I like her, okay?"

"I KNEW IT!"

"Calm yourself woman! xD"

"You've been my best friend for years and you tell me now?!"

"Err...yep"

"Gotta go. She's coming back."

Sadie's POV:

I came back with Hunger Games becaue that was the only one I like the most. 

"Yay! Huner Games!" Carri squealed. I couldnt help but laugh

After the movie, Carri had fallen asleep. Her phone buzzed and I glanced at it and saw that Chance had texted. I opened the text. 

"Maybe I should tell Sadie how I feel about her. What do you think?"

I wasnt thinking and i responded

"I think you should."

"Okay. Thanks Carri."

"You're welcome."

After, I deleted the messages and fell asleep.

The next morning I was woken up by the smeel of cinnaman rolls. Yum. Carri wasnt on the couch so I got up and walked over the kitchen and saw her talking to my mom.

"Hey guys." I said half asleep.

"Morning sunshine." Carri said and handed me a cinnaman roll.

My mom left and Carri and I were alone. 

"So! What are you going to wear today?"

I looked at her confused.

"We're going to the carnival...duh!"

I laughed and we finished our breakfast and hurried upstairs.

"I found the perfect outfit for you!" She screamed from my closet.

She walked over and laid out a BVB shirt. It was all black and on the front, had BVB with wings in purple and the back was ripped all the way up. Then she handed my black and purple tie-dye jeans that were also ripped. Then she handed me my combat boots and a purple bra. I changed and when I was about ready, Carri was putting on her makeup. 

"One more thing..." She said as she clipped the bow in my hair.

"Ready?" She asked and I responded with a yes.

We grabbed some money and walked outside to the mall when we ran into Chris. He walked with us and when we arrived to the carnival, /he saw some of his friends and ditched us. 

CareBear and I walked around. She was on her phone and I was messing with my hair, not paying attention. I ran right into someone's arms.

"Sor-" I stopped midword and looked and saw that I was in Chance's arms.

He smiled and said "Hello there."

"Hi." is all i manage to say. 

He held me for awhile and then i noticed that Carri had disappeared.

"Wanna walk around?" He asked.

"Sure." I said while smiling.

We walked, talked, and laughed. We were walking when he suddenly stopped. I also stopped.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing." He said while turning around. I turned around, too and we began walking in the other direction when...

"Hey!" I heard a familiar voice say.
