I finally got home at 7 o'clock. When I walk through the door Jace's head snapped up to look at me with relief washing over his face.
"Oh my god I was so worried I came home, and Damian was at the door loo-".
"Wait, alpha Damian was here?" I cut him off.
"Yeah he seemed to really worried what happened?" He looked up at me quizzically.
"It's complicated" I replied distantly.
He actually came to my house? As if he had the right? I'm glad I wasn't here when he stopped by, I don't know what I would have done.
He's close Raine informs me.
WHAT! I practically scream in my head.
I can feel his wolf.
No, no, no, no, , no! I can't do this right now. I was definetly freaking out at this point.
I know, and to be honest I don't blame you, maybe we can ma- My conversation was cut short by a knock on the door. No, no, no! Damien can't be here, not right now.
Ever so slowly I walked to the door and opened it. Just as my luck would have it, Damien stood on the other side of our front door. I swear my heart just broke even more, just at the sight of him.
We were both silent for a few moments before Damien broke it. "Scarl-"
"No, just don't. I get it, just leave me alone. You may have broken my heart, but that doesn't give you any right to try and apologize out of pity." And with that I slammed the door right in his face.
As soon as the door was closed my strong face fell, and I slid to the floor with my back against the door.
I had two choices: I could either give up on everything and loose myself, or I could pick up the peices to my still breaking heart. The question is, am I still strong enough to put the peices of my heart back together again?
