Wishful thinking

This one is a bit of a mystery to me ... I know I wrote it as I still have the hand written original transcript

all I can say about it is I was obviously at a particularly lonely point in my life when I wrote this and I think it was around the middle of 2004

Nothing will ever make us part

I walk down silent corridors

I run through empty midnight streets

in solitude the victory

of never having to taste defeat

But all these things just fade away

Whenever you are near

for you I face the world again

And battle all my fears

There's nothing I wouldn't do for you

Until the end of time

Forever I'd belong to you

And pray that you'll be mine

And if you ever lose your faith

Remember this one thing is true

As long as my heart's beating
