As she continued to catch her breath, she heard Niko say, "There's so much food." She turned her gaze to Niko, nodding in agreement, but the young man didn't see her. He meticulously inspected every corner of the shelter as he walked heavily inside.

Lily took a deep breath and didn't stop observing him. The expression on her face clearly showed both astonishment and excitement. The sparkle in her eyes clearly reflected her astonishment at what she saw.

The electricity in the shelter was provided by batteries powered by solar energy. The clean air inside was made possible by continuously running air filters and turbines.

"There's so much food, drinks, and other stuff... Wow. I really didn't expect something like this," Niko continued in amazement, making Lily unable to resist smiling. This shelter would provide them with protection and a means of living for a long time. Although they didn't know what the future held, knowing they were safe here gave them strength.

As Niko continued to inspect the items in the shelter, Lily said, "We need to make a plan," which caused Niko to turn his gaze toward her. She then got up from where she was sitting, took a few steps toward Niko, and stood right before him, gesturing with her hand. "The food stock here seems to be sufficient for at least a year. That's a good thing. However, I don't know about the future, whether we can leave this place or not. Therefore, we need to arrange everything in the shelter to be used for a longer period of time."

After nodding, Niko chuckled. Without saying anything, he moved forward, sat down, placed his hands on the table, and said, "I've already made calculations."

Lily's eyes widened at what she heard. After opening her mouth in astonishment, she asked, "How? When?"

"Not long ago," he said, then pointed to the food just like Lily did. "If we split a canned food in half and consume it twice a day, we can extend our one-year stock to three years. Although this is a good development, we should consume the food in the can within six months of opening it." After removing his hand from the canned food, he turned to the stored water on the other side of the room. "The maximum usage period of packaged drinking water is two years, so unfortunately, we can't extend this over time."

After diverting his gaze from the water, he turned to the fruit juices further away. "Also, considering that the average lifespan of packaged fruit juices is six months, we need to consume them within this period," he explained. "Even if we put them in the refrigerator, they will spoil after a while. So, distributing them over time by opening the package won't work. Our priority should be fruit juices for drinking. Since fruit juices cannot replace water consumption, we must also pay attention to drinking water."

Although Lily didn't know where Niko got all this information from, she thought he was right in what he said. His analytical skills and logical thinking were indeed encouraging. They needed a roadmap to live sensibly and properly in this uncertain world. Although Niko's guidance provided them with correct information, it contained some minor flaws.

"What will happen when my parents arrive? I don't think you thought about them when making this plan. Similarly, your family could come here too. If you're here, I think they will come too. So, we'll be crowded."
