It was 5am in the morning.

I hadn't shut an eye yet - my mind was going crazy about Brooke.

Neither of us talked but I knew something was wrong.

"Hello?"

"H-" He started coughing.

"Are you okay?"

No answer, just him coughing and gasping.

"Corpse what's your address?"

Asking for his address was useless since it'd take me hours to get to San Diego.

"Is there anyone who could come and check up on you?"

Again. No answer.

"Didn't you say Dave was around to visit you?"

In our conversation a while ago he mentioned Dave - BoyInABand coming to visit him in the US.

"Yeah" He finally spoke.

I felt relieved after hearing him talk.

"Where is he?"

"He booked an apartment-" He coughed again.

I had Dave's number from future projects we'd planned and I texted him without hanging up the call with Corpse.
