What would you do if you were one of these heroes? If you were the boy that lives with his single dad that's completely worthless, would you run away or keep fighting? If you and your sibling were hero and villain, how would you treat eachother? Would you fight them, or try to fight that part of your lives? Well, while the group of heroes are going through that, they go have some fun. They soon forget their responsibility and leave their leader to do the hard work alone. When it ends with their leader getting fatally injured, they must protect him from his father while also doing all his tasks. On top of that, mobs of people are surrounding him, now that they know he's a hero. Between angry parents, crazy teachers, evil siblings, reporting mobs and endless school work, these heroes are at their breaking point. Will the leader have to take control again, or can the heroes handle the job? In a world of masks and capes, who can you trust? Who's really the hero? Maybe the villain isn't who they all thought at all. None of the art is mine, all credit goes to the artist.

More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. "Why do bad things happen to good people?"
