Elementalist

Ivy, an unpopular girl or woman rather. She lives in the background going about her business. She is invisible to others, or at least it seems that way.
Her family is dysfunctional, there but not there for each other, not the way she always wished they would be. She isn't bullied, or beaten, just ignored.
That's her life in a nut shell, not bullied, just ignored.
One days she gets angry, not just mildly angry like she has any number of times in the past, but furiously angry. So angry that her body shakes and that's when it happens.
Her entire life transforms. She struggles to adjust to the changes. She never believed in magic, many times she had desired it, who hasn't growing up? But it's real and now she has to learn to control her 'magic' or she could kill all those she holds dear, even if they don't hold her dear.
But will her secret stay a secret or will others find out and try to use her for their own ends?
