Time heals all wounds, or so Eleanor hopes. After having her heart shattered, Eleanor has successfully transformed herself from a devastated 23-year-old to a reasonably well-functioning adult. But, just as she'd settled into a new city and a job as a museum curator, Eleanor finds her hard-earned progress threatened when she agrees to revisit her past, or, more accurately, give it, its wife, and its new baby a tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's ancient Egyptian wing. Coming face-to-face with the man responsible for her breaking her heart seven years ago, Eleanor must reckon with painful memories she has spent years trying to repress in a tour where she must lecture on the ancient past while reflecting on her own.
