The novel depicts the tragic story of a poor village boy who falls in love with an engineer's daughter. The girl, a software engineer,cruelly rejects him and leaves no stone unturned to humiliate him.He becomes embarrassed and terribly upset and tries his best to put a stop to the affair. When he is sure the girl he taught English is seething with feelings of anger and hatred for him,the course of the story takes an unexpected turn.She gives him the hint that she too loves him.....!
