Level 99 is a game made up of 99 challenges, or levels, that get harder as the game goes on. If the player completes every level the secret to happiness in their life is revealed to them. The answer is different for everybody; it could be a certain accomplishment, a place, a person, a career path, etc. Not many people complete the challenge. The last task is said to be the worst of all... Carmen and Devin have been best friends since they met in 6th grade. Carmen had just moved to town after her father and older brother were killed in a car crash that year. It was just her and her mother. She found comfort in her friendship with Devin. Devin loved Carmen with all his heart. He was willing to do anything for her. They were the closest of friends. Level 99 turns out to be a more difficult experience than Carmen, Devin, or any of their friends had anticipated. Some drop out, some keep going in hopes that they'll find the secret to happiness in their life. But as the tasks become harder and harder to accomplish, can Carmen and Devin's friendship last?
