In 2024, the Japanese government decided to create a special high school to train the country's elite. Every year, over 160 students are sent to Kodo Ikusei to become the future pillars of Japan. Graduates from this institution are guaranteed a 100% success rate in university admissions or any job they choose. Moreover, the school is designed to ensure success without stress in your working environment. Karaoke, casinos, restaurants, and cinemas are all provided to give you an ideal living experience. But don't be fooled by its heavenly appearance; this school is actually the most horrific hell. Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, a laid-back and calm student, must try to survive within this constant chaos. And there, outside the store, he sees a strange goth man, squatting with his pet crow. Maybe he will purchase Dieter a Monster Energy... Follow the story of teenage Dieter making a very powerful journey of self-discovery, parental issues, relationships, the pain and confusion of growing up, and the strange goth man living in Dieter's attic...
