They venture, no way of knowing where they are or what lies in the shadows. Until each of them bump into a stranger. A lost child much like themselves. A Niloan meets an Euran. A Zhongean meets an Amayan. Then they come together. Will these star-crossed heroes be able to escape this magical place, or will they be trapped without finding their way home?

I do not own spirit animals and this is the same type of book as my other one except better 2023 and 2024 vision/edition.

I grew up in Flom, the oldest of three in a family of humans. Comfortable living alongside nature, my true goal in life was always to become a dedicated scout. When a fire destroyed my family home, my sister and I were the only survivors. I was forced to start all over again and live at Aunt Flora's house. It all seemed so hopeless until I'd learned of an opportunity in a far-off city, a chance to get my life back on track. I was going to Lux to get work on a merchant vessel and head out to sea. So, with nothing to my name but Natalya the pony, my trusty dagger, and a lock pick hidden in my belt, I set off on the road to Lux. That was how I came to arrive at Evertree Inn, a highway tavern owned by the Dupree family. It seemed as good a place as any to stop for the night...but things were not to be so straightforward.
