Emily has been promoted to Celestial Ambassador and will have to travel to Hell to gather as much information and testimony as possible about the Hotel's activities. While Emily is eager to reunite with Charlie and finally meet her friends, she is seriously concerned about her companion: will the Head Exorcist be up to the task? Or, as usual, will he make a huge mess? Meanwhile, someone is plotting behind Heaven's back: a mysterious traitor is orchestrating an arms trade toward Hell and will do everything possible to advance their own personal goals.

The duo must team up to take down power-hungry vampires and keep everyone safe. In the process, Lute vows to kill Adam as the last vampire. Adam, on the other hand, has unfinished business and refuses to go down without a fight.

Lute loves Adam. Of course he feels the same. But nothing can happen. She's only his lieutenant. And Heaven would hate them. So Lute leaves. Why? Read to find out.
