Jialia's POV
All of the members, Jian, Uncle Chaoxiang and I are outside of the emergency room. I'm being comforted by WinWin and Kun. Nonstop crying and blaming myself.
"Jialia." Yuyan runs towards me. I run into her arms and cry on her shoulder.
"It's my fault. It's my fault. It's my fault for letting him get shot. It was suppose to be me and not him. It's my fault, Yuyan. It's my fault." I cry on her shoulder.
"It's okay. He will be alright, Jialia. He will be alright." Yuyan comforts me as she pats my back.
"Jialia. The doctor is out." Yuyan says which makes me turn around.
"How's the patient?" Kun asks the doctor.
"He's in shock due to the lack of blood in his body. He lost a lot of blood due to the gunshot wounds. Right now we're preparing a bigger team for the surgery. Please excuse me." The doctor says.
I feel light headed after hearing what the doctor has said. All of a sudden, my vision has gone pitch black.

I wake up and scan around the room. I'm still at the hospital. I look down at my clothing. I'm in hospital clothing
"Xiaojun!" I say to myself. I tear off the tags on my arms and hands.
I get up to leave when Yuyan enters the room which prevents me from leaving.
"Where are you going?" Yuyan asks.
"I'm going to see Xiaojun. I have to see if he's alright and safe." I worriedly say then try to leave but Yuyan prevents me.
"You need to eat. You haven't ate anything since yesterday morning. I'm sure your child is craving for some food." Yuyan says.
It's the next day already? "He's out of surgery right?!"
Yuyan nods her head yes. "Let's go eat before I get scold by my idol for not feeding his use-to-be girlfriend who is pregnant with his child."
She walks into the other room. "Use-to-be" girlfriend. I somewhat feel offended. I'm not his girlfriend. He's not my boyfriend. Why do I have to feel offended for?
I follow Yuyan to the other room.

After filling up my stomach. Yuyan takes me to Xiaojun's room. Yuyan and I enter to see Chunhua feeding Xiaojun. It makes me freeze. Same with the both of them. Jealous hits me.
"Chunhua! I didn't know you were back." Yuyan happily says and walks to her giving her a hug.
"I'm back after hearing the news about Xiaojun." Chunhua says after Yuyan pulls out from the hug.
My hands are crossed over my chest.
"How have you been doing?" Chunhua walks up to me and asks. "I heard that you're pregnant with Xiaojun's child."
"I've been doing well. Living well without him. Eating and sleeping well without him as well." I say, trying not to sass.
"What do you mean living, eating and sleeping without him? Are you both not together anymore?" Chunhua asks.
"Looks like someone is jealous." Yuyan raises one of her eyebrows.
"I'm not jealous!" I quietly say then hit Yuyan on her arms.
"Whatever. I can tell by your face. You're jealous." Yuyan raises one her eyebrows again.
"I have some things to talk to Yuyan about. Please feed Xiaojun." Chunhua says then pulls Yuyan out the door before I could interfere the both of them.
I look at the door then look at Xiaojun who is sitting up.
"You know you're cute when you get jealous. I never knew you were that jealous of Chunhua when she was feeding me." Xiaojun says.
"I was not jealous." I say as I walk closer to him.
"What rights do I have to be jealous? We're not boyfriend and girlfriend anymore." I say crossing my hands over my chest.
"You never said anything about a break up." Xiaojun says then raises one of his eyebrows at me
I'm speechless. Did leaving my bracelet behind not mean "I'm leaving. Let's end our relationship" to him?!
"Feed me will you? I'm hungry." He eyes the bowl on the bedside tray.
I sit down on the chair, adjusting the bedside tray before feeding him.
"You're alright, right? You're not seriously hurt or anything right?" Xiaojun asks after he swallows his first bite I fed him. "The baby is not hurt right?"
"The baby and I are okay. We're not seriously hurt like you." I say, avoiding his eyes as I scoop out his food onto the spoon. He cares about the baby and I.
I feed him.
"Fenfang has a family. 2 sons with my ex friend. Jay." Xiaojun explains.
"Huh? She has 2 sons? She has a family?" I say in shock.
He nods his head. "When I found out that she had a family with him. I was shock as well. When I confronted her about it. She got sad then started to.... you know. You saw....."
I stay quiet. Bringing myself back to that time still hurts me. Even though he's explaining what happened.
"She pre recorded what you heard. I was also shock when she released the recording of me saying that. But know that it's not true. I never meant those words and never will either. Whatever I did with Fenfang. I never loved her once. It was you and Jian I fell in love with. You and Jian became the source of my happiness. I never wanted our relationship to end. What we had was real. I'm sorry for hurting you. I really am. The past 2 months was hard for me. Not seeing you and Jian. I miss you both very much. Can we go back to being the same?" He says as he holds my hand.
My heart tells me to believe him. My guts are telling me to believe him. I want to believe him.
"We missed you too." I say. I get up and give him a hug. The hug I've been yearning for the last 2 months.
He wraps his arms around me. "Promise me you won't leave me. I want you to stay with me forever."
"I promise. I promise I won't leave you. If I leave you, it has to be another good reason why." I say.
"Jialia!" He sulks.
I pull out from the hug. "You're no fun. Let me feed you before your food gets cold."
I pick up the spoon and continue to feed him.
WinWin's POV
Kun, Hendery and I stick out our heads from Xiaojun's hospital door. We're walking down the hall to give the couple some space.
"It's nice to see them back together." I say then smile. "We don't have to see him sulk anymore."
"Right! Now. Hendery. It's your turn. We're waiting on your happiness. I heard that she's back in town." Kun says, wrapping his arm around Hendery's shoulder.
"W-what do you mean she's back in town?" Hendery asks.
We see Chunhua and Yuyan walk down the hall. Coming the same direction as us.
"Speaking of her. She's here." Kun says.
Yuyan and Chunhua stops when they walk near us.
"Did you a come back from Xiaojun's room? How is he and Jialia?" Yuyan asks.
"It looks like they both reunited." WinWin says.
"That's good." Yuyan smiles. "WinWin! Kun! Come get coffee with me."
Yuyan drags Kun and I leaving Chunhua and Hendery behind. I like her plan. So I'm going to go along with it.
Chunhua's POV
"Want to talk?" I ask before Hendery turns around and follows them.
"Sure." Hendery says.
We walk to an empty hall.
"Surprise that I'm back early? I'm surprise that I'm back early as well." I say then give out a small laugh.
He stays quiet.
"I know I didn't get to apologize to you before I left. That was immature of me. While I'm here... I might as well apologize, right?" I say, looking down on the ground before looking back up. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for using you to get closer to Xiaojun. I'm sorry for misleading you, hurting you and hurting your heart."
He also stays quiet.
"You don't have to forgive me. I don't expect you to forgive me. I wanted to apologize to you because it's been heavy on my shoulder." I say with tears forming in my eyes. I don't know why tears are forming.
Maybe because I know I hurt him when knowing that he loves me and I love him. I don't think that can happen between us now. My phone rings.
"Yes, mom?" I answer the call.
"I'm at the hospital and I don't see you. Where are you?" Mom asks.
"I'm coming. Just wait a moment." I say then hang up.
I look at Hendery who's looking down at the ground. "I have to meet up with my mom."
I turn around and walk away. I feel his hands grabbing my wrist to turn me back around. He wraps his arms around me. My side face buried on his chest.
"Don't leave. Stay with me... like this forever." Hendery softly says.
I smile and wrap my arms around him.
Jialia's POV
- 7 months has gone by -
"Push! One more time! One more push! He's almost here." The doctor says.
I gather all of my strength. My hand wrapped around in Xiaojun's hands while the other hand is holding onto a pole for support. I give the last push with a loud scream. I hear a baby crying. He's finally out. He's out. Tears starts to fall. I see the doctor pull Xiaojun to the side to cut the cord. After that was skin to skin with the baby.
I could see the tears forming in Xiaojun's eyes as well. Tears of happiness.

I'm discharge from the hospital. Xiaojun, Jinhai and I are going home. Jian is very excited that his baby brother is coming home today. He's been stuck at home.
Jian runs into my arms as soon as we arrive home. I wrap my arms around him. I missed him very much. I give him kisses on the cheek.
"Mommy! You're back! Is my baby brother in that? Is he sleeping?" Jian asks pointing to the car seat which Xiaojun is carrying.
I nod my head.
"Daddy! I'm a big brother now! I'm a big brother!" Jian excitingly screams as he runs in circle circling Xiaojun and I.
"Shhh! He's sleeping, Jian!" I say.
"Oops! I forgot. I'm too excited." Jian stop then say before giving us a smile.
"Let's go see your baby brother." I say then hold onto his arms.
Xiaojun leads the way. I follow.
Chunhua's POV
I'm at the movie theater. On a date with Hendery. He's late. 10 minutes late. I look around to scan for him. I don't see him anywhere. I take out my phone and dial his number. I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn around to see Hendery smiling.
"You're late. Very very late!" I say then gently hit his arm.
"I'm sorry. I had to do something before I arrived here." Hendery says.
"What did you do?" I curiously ask.
"I don't know. You have to wait and see. Let's go." He says then grabs my hand.
We walk into the movie theater together.

After the movie. We're in the car driving to a location which he won't tell me.
"So you're not going to tell me? Not even a small hint?" I sulk.
"No. I'm not going to tell you. Not even a small hint. You'll see when you get there. I promise that you'll like it very much." Hendery smiles.
He's more stubborn than I thought he will be.
"We'll be here soon. I need you to put in blindfolds." Hendery says.
I turn around so that he can put the blindfolds on. The cars stops.
"We're here. Carefully. We need to get out of the car first." Hendery says as he guides me.
I can't see anything. Pitch black is all I can see. He guides me down the car.
"Take off your shoes." Hendery says.
"Huh?" I say. I hear the waves. "Are we at a beach?"
I take off my shoes. He is guiding me.
"Where are we going? Why are we at a beach this late at night? Hendery?" I ask as he guides me.
He's being quiet. Not answering my questions. As he's guiding me. We're getting closer to the waves of the water.
"I'm going to take off your blind fold. Keep your eyes closed until I say open, okay." Hendery orders.
"Yes!" I say. I'm excited about what he is going to show me.
I feel the blind folds being off. My eyes are stilled closed.
"Open your eyes." Hendery says.
I open my eyes. I see a wooden freestanding perloga with a matching color wooden deck as well. On top of the wooden deck was a table and 2 chairs. With roses in the middle of the table. On top of the perloga were roses with green leaves as well as hanging lights hanging. There are small candle lights on the sand. They are placed all over the beach.
"The past months, you've been wanting a dinner date. I've prepared it for you. I imagined it as our place in Hawaii. Our first time together the fireworks at the beach. This may not be Hawaii, but let's just imagine it. Your dinner date must be checked off, right?" Hendery says.
He knows how to win my heart. I didn't expect it to be this fancy. At a beach too. I'm very speechless.
"What do you think?" Hendery asks.
"You know how to win my heart. You want to keep winning my heart everyday? I won't complain." I turn around and say. "I'm very very very satisfied with it. Thank you for taking your time to prepare this. I'm very speechless. Thank you."
I give him a quick kiss on the lips. "Your reward."
He pulls me closer to him. He leans in for a kiss but I cover his lips with my hands before he does.
"Let's finish dinner first. Then I'll think about it." I say then wink.
I push him back, holding onto his hands and walking to the dinner set.
Jialia's POV
The past few weeks have been hectic with Jinhai. Xiaojun and I have been watching him constantly. Taking turns to catch up on our sleep while the other stays and watches him. Now that his schedule is getting packed. I'm mostly watching Jinhai. Jian does the helping. So does both of my mom. Yuyan and Chunhua sometimes come over to watch and play him as well for.
There are some days I'm very tired and knock out along with Jinhai. I'm also catching up on some sleep if I'm sleeping with him peacefully.
This night. He's sleeping peacefully. Jian is sleeping on Xiaojun's bed. I'm also getting ready to sleep as well.
The middle of my sleep. Something moves on the bed which slowly wakes me up. Xiaojun is joining Jian and I on the bed. He squishes next to me.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to wake you up." He whispers.
"Why are you home? I thought you were sleeping at the dorm." I whisper back.
"Missed you all too much to be sleeping at the dorm. I came back instead." He says then wraps his arms around me. "You must be very tired without me here. I'll hurry back and help you so you won't be tired."
I smile in relief. "I'm very very tired. Let's sleep."
He moves closer to me. I wrap my arms around him.
- 2 years passes by -
Xiaojun and I are at a baby gender reveal party with Jian and Jinhai. Who's baby gender reveal? Xiaojun and I's baby gender reveal. I'm pregnant again. Our 3rd child. At this gender reveal. Xiaojun knows the gender and I don't. He's very excited to reveal the gender of this baby. No one knows the gender besides Xiaojun.
The guests arrives at the party. Hendery, Chunhua, Yuyan, YangYang, Ten, Kun, WinWin, Lucas, my mom, Meihua, Lei, uncle Chaoxiang, Chenle and Renjun. Chenle and Renjun were invited since they were in town for a short vacation. We invited the other members of NCT. But couldn't come. They sent Xiaojun and I a congratulations video. I had Xiaojun translate what they were saying to me.
After some games. Here comes the gender reveal. Xiaojun sets up the game. I have to pop the balloons to see which balloon has the gender color in it.
"I say boy!" Lucas determinedly says.
"No. It's going to be a girl." Renjun says.
"You all will see soon." Xiaojun says. He hands me the darts.
"Jun! That's a lot of balloon to figure out the baby gender." I say.
"No." He smiles. "Want me to help you?"
"No. I can do it myself." I smile.
I throw the darts one by one slowly. I'm very bad at aiming and throwing things. Some darts popped the ballon and some didn't. Xiaojun was nice enough to go and pick out the darts off the board to give it back to me so I can throw it.
I throw them again. I missed some balloons and was able to pop some. I repeated until I popped the final balloon. There are some English words on the board. I can't see it very well. I hear some people gasps.
"What does it say?" I ask Xiaojun.
"Go see." He says.
I walk closer to the board. I slowly read the board until I was able to read it correctly. 'Will you marry me?' The tears starts to form. I turn around to see Xiaojun on one knees with his ring box opened. The inside of the box is pink.
"Will you marry me, Jialia?" Xiaojun asks.
I cry. My makeup will be ruined. I shake my head yes. I reach my left hand out to him. He puts the ring on my ring finger. He gets up and gives me a hug. I cry in his chest.
"The baby gender is a girl." He says to everyone as I cry.
I hear the whoops and claps as I'm crying.
"Are you going to continue crying?" Xiaojun whispers in my ears.
"You made me cry." I say.
He smiles. I can hear the small laugh he's letting out. I smack his chest then wipe my tears. "You made me cry in front of everyone."
"At least I got you to agree to marry me. Now that you agreed. You're mines forever for life. No one can take you away from me. I love you." Xiaojun says which makes me smile.
"I love you too. You're also mines for life." I smile.
"Let's go celebrate. I want to eat some cake." He says and walks me to get cake.
The man I slept with on accident and ended up getting pregnant became the man I fell in love. My partner for life. My other half. My soulmate. The father of our 3 kids. No words can describe how much I love and cherish him. Thank you for coming into my life, Xiaojun.

I know!!! This is the last chapter for this book! 😭😭 I'm sad that it has ended. I feel very accomplished though. Thank you all for supporting Xiaojun's Child. Without you all, I don't think I'll be able to continue this. Thank you all very very much! From the bottom of my heart, I mean it very much. I have no other words to explain anymore. 😭😭 I'm just very very very very thankful.
