*Still in Noah's point-of-view*
Walking in my house I feel relief wash over me as I see my mom sitting on the couch. I plop next to her and she can sense that something is wrong.
Mom: "You're home early?"
Noah: "Yeah…"
Mom: "What's wrong. I always know when something's wrong"
Noah: *knowing it's pointless to lie*
"I kissed her…"
Mom: "Y/N? Is everything ok? Why do you look so upset?"
Noah: "How did you know I meant Y/N?"
Mom: "You may think you hide your feelings well but I'm your mom. You don't think I hear you rush out of this house all hours of the night to go see her every time she's the slightest but upset?"
Noah: *shocked*
"Just lately… I guess since middle school I've just liked her but lately it's just getting too big to ignore"
Mom: "Sweetheart, you've loved that girl since you first laid eyes on her at 4 yrs old, don't fool yourself… what exactly happened?"
Noah: "Everyone was watching and then staring and she didn't know what to say and I freaked out and left"
Mom: "You didn't give her a chance to talk to you about how she feels?"
I shook my head before my mom continued:
"Go call her and if she doesn't answer keep calling. In fact, go find her and talk to her because she loves you and I know you don't understand that but I know it"
I walked outside to sit on the porch and work up the nerve to call you. After too many rings, I was about to give up when the line answered and I heard the worst thing imaginable on the other end.
Blake: "Yo"
Noah: "Who is this?"
Blake: "It's Blake, sup?"
Noah: *stuttering*
"Where is Y/N? Wait why do you have her phone? Is she with you?"
Blake: "I don't know what you want me to say, man. You just up and left her. She's upset dude. Yo I gotta go"
Blake hung up the line and my anxiety flashed to rage. Why was he answering your phone? Were you two together? I told myself that I should have never left without you and climbed in my car and raced off so upset I couldn't focus and almost missed my turn.
