in order for yeosang to not get bored and lonely at home, seonghwa had decided to bring him to work, there wasn't much going on so it was an in and out situation but he knows mingi was going to be in and so was yunho so it was perfect
the little pup would be able to talk to him while he's sorting his priorities out and after that they can go do something, anything yeosang wanted.
he sees how yeosang immediately perked up when he sees yunho, immediately running towards him and basically jumping on to him, the puppy hybrid was quick enough to put his hands on yeosang's thighs so he wouldn't slip off
"you hug me as if we've been apart for years." yunho mumbles, gently putting him back down on the ground "seems like it." yeosang replies before getting a pat from seonghwa
"princess, how about you go and get something to eat, bring yunho with you, i'm sure you have a lot to catch up on." the kitten nods, earning a cheek kiss from the stylist while yunho coos at the gesture.
they found themselves inside a warm bakery as yeosang had been enticed by the display of baked goods so they found a little booth to sit in and yeosang insists its his treat despite yunho pulling out his own card, courtesy of mingi.
"how are you and seonghwa? he's rather sweet around you." yunho comments, spooning out the whipped cream that topped his cocoa
"and he calls you princess, it's cute and i know your praise kink is just off the roof at this point." he says in a more hushed tone because they were in public
"most likely but we are doing just great, he took me out on a date and we've talked about why we're the way we are." yeosang relays with a sweet smile as he takes a bite of his cheesecake "wanna ask you something, since you're in a relationship with mingi." yunho nods, letting him know he's open to what yeosang wanted to know
"how did you ask mingi out on a date?" yunho couldn't believe this is the same yeosang he'd been with for years, he was al blushy and soft-spoken, like a timid maiden
"well, mingi asked me first but i did ask him out too, i think i just blurted it out and he said yes." the copper-haired pup replies with nonchalance
"you see, a friend of mine requested we should go on a double date because he needs some positive energy in the form of kang yeosang." yunho rolls his eyes in a playful manner as this was the yeosang he knew
"just ask him, you've been on a date, should be easy enough. when's the date?" he nearly splutters his warm drink when yeosang answered that it was tonight "jesus christ, you are hopeless." he dabs his mouth with a napkin before putting the cup down
"so, you promised your friend you'd accompany him in a double date when you haven't even asked seonghwa to go with you?" yeosang nods while yunho cups his own face
"then ask him later, would you feel comfortable if i was with you?" the kitten nods yet again and yunho smiles fondly
"i helped junhui pick out clothes already but here i am, panicking and unable to ask seonghwa to a date that is happening later."
it was a bit laughable to see how yeosang seemed to become like silly putty in regards to talking about seonghwa but it was an adorable sight to see "well, just ask him straight away later, i'm sure he will say yes."
with their hands clasped together, yunho leads him to mingi's studio and the kitten was immediately drawn to the pretty lights that lined up where the wall met the ceiling
"his inner kitten jumped out, don't worry about him." yunho tells mingi, kissing him square on the lips before pulling the rapper with him to the couch
"sangie, sweetie, i don't think you've formally met my boyfriend." yeosang turns his attention back to the couple and he waddles over to them "hello, i'm yeosang, seonghwa's kitty." mingi shakes his hand as he smiled
"i know, took him a while to get comfortable but i'm glad he's got you." yeosang sits down on a beanbag, rocking back and forth on it
"what was it like when you found out your puppy wasn't just a puppy?" he asks curiously, wanting to know another person's perspective
"i was surprised but then i was enchanted because look at him, he's a beauty." yunho blushes at the praise while holding mingi's hand "i love him, right yunie?" the redhead turns to him while yunho kisses the tip of his nose
"i know, love you too." yeosang fake gags making yunho throw a pillow at him as he apologized in between giggles
"baby, can you call up hwa to come here, sangie wants to ask him someth-" a knock on the door causes them to cut their conversation while mingi calls for them to come in
"hey princess, i'm done, wanna get out of here or do you want to hang out with yunho more?" seonghwa pops his head in before coming inside completely, high-fiving with mingi in the process as he leans on the wall
"go out on a double date with me later, pretty please?" the suddenness made yunho burst out in silent laughter
"i beg your pardon?" seonghwa straightens himself up "junhui has a date later and he asked if i can go so he'd be comfortable, i wanted to ask you to be my date." he spoke clearly and slowly so seonghwa can understand
"of course i'd go princess, what time?" the kitten sighs in relief "9:00, last full show for the movie."

they decided to eat before meeting up with junhui and minghao to the cinema, they were both a lot more touchy than usual, holding his hand while they were in the restaurant while yeosang was rubbing his feet against seonghwa's calves and in response seonghwa decide to move seats, it scared yeosang at first but it subsided when the latter ended up sitting next to him, wrapping his hand over his waist and pulling him close
"what are you doing to me princess?" he winks and he sees how yeosang reacted to the action, blushing like crazy as he tries to avoid eye contact but seonghwa wasn't having that so he lifts his chin up
"i didn't mean it in a bad way." he kisses the corner of his lips while the kitten felt like his heart was about to burst out of his chest
"c-can you kiss me here?" he points at his lips and it made seonghwa hum before running the pad of his thumb on those soft pink lips
he leans forward to the point that he can smell the peachy scent of his lip gloss but then yeosang's phone went off, texts spamming in from junhui that they were waiting for them.
"hey guys, this is seonghwa, hwa, this is junhui and minghao." they all shook hands with each other while minghao pipes up that he's already gotten tickets.
there wasn't a lot of people inside the place considering it was the last full show but it was good as there wouldn't be a whole lot of disturbances.
junhui and yeosang were sat in between their dates, that is until minghao excused himself to buy snacks and seonghwa tagged along.
"i feel like i'm going to vomit, fuck, i'm so nervous." junhui spoke out for the first time since they met up "he seems great, calm down jun." yeosang comforts, holding his hand
"you'll be okay, you have me." they ended up hugging as junhui kept thanking him for coming "this is my second date with seonghwa so i think i should be thanking you." he giggles before he pulls away
"i didn't know when to ask him so i asked him earlier today." junhui nods, telling him that he'll repay him in some way despite yeosang declining as seeing junhui be comfortable and possibly have a nice time during the date is good enough for him.
not long after the movie started, yeosang was starting to get sleepy but he tries to keep himself awake to keep an eye on junhui.
seonghwa was just downing the popcorn, feeding yeosang at some point before wrapping an arm over his shoulder, letting him lean his head on to his shoulder
"you can sleep princess, i'll wake you up when it's done." he whispers, patting his cheek and yeosang nods, letting his eyes flutter shut as soon after, he went into a blackout state.
he only feels himself getting shook awake by seonghwa "movie's done, let's get you home." yeosang stretches up, rubbing his eyes as he looks for junhui and minghao who weren't on their seats
"where's-" seonghwa points upwards, so yeosang turns around and he sees that at the very back row of the cinema, junhui and minghao were sweetly making out
"everything turned out good then." he sighs in relief, eating the last of the popcorn inside the bucket as they waited for the credits to end
"princess, how about we finish what we started earlier." seonghwa suggests, with a mouthful of popcorn, yeosang's eyes went wide and he swallows, patting his chest as it goes down "come here you," seonghwa leans forward but yeosang puts his palm over seonghwa's mouth
"hold on, one moment." yeosang quickly takes a drink of the remaining soda and he touches up his gloss, smacking his lips together prettily before turning back to seonghwa, batting his eyes
"you're adorable, princess." he snaked his hands up to yeosang's jaw as if to keep him in place before leaning forward once more and finally capturing his lips, he smiles in the middle of it as he can taste the soda as well as the peach
yeosang knows how to move his lips but he feels that seonghwa got the upper hand so he just lets him lead, grabbing on to the front of his shirt as he tugs him closer, earning a groan from him before pulling away
lips sticky from the gloss, seonghwa licks some of it that clung to his lips before he gives yeosang one more peck before whispering against his lips "i see that i've been missing out on a lot, princess."
