Akshay's pov:
My life become so beautiful after a month of our marriage. Though we didn't start our life as couples, I really like the company of her. As a typical friend, she scolds me for everything if I didn't obey her words.
I drop her at her home whenever she wants to go there. She will return in two days. We actually didn't got time to spend with each other because of our work. She too have tough work at her office.
One fine day, I was working in my hospital. This hospital was owned by my dad. They started a small clinic when they both were young and now it turned as a multi speciality hospital because of their hard work.
I got a call from Tina. She won't call me this early morning. I attended doubtfully.
"Hello?" I said.
"Sir, this is a nurse from an ambulance. This mobile user met with an accident." an unknown voice yelled making my heart drop. I felt numb.
I asked about her health but that person didn't said anything. I convinced her to bring Tina to this hospital. She agreed. I immediately informed my family and her family.
I waited restlessly at the entrance. After few minutes, it arrived and they took her out from the ambulance. My eyes started shedding when I saw her with a pool of blood.
I wiped my tears and screamed at all to take her inside. I got the report from that nurse and thanked her. I ran again to an emergency room.
After putting my gloves, I started cleaning her blood. She was unconscious. I asked the nurse to connect an iv in her hand.
My mom, dad, aunty and uncle barged in and shocked seeing her in that state. My eyes are blurred already and my body was sweating profusely. My mom looked at me and sighed.
"You go out first, we will take care of her. Take aunty with you" my mom said moving towards her. I protested but my dad pushed me out. Aunty too came outside with her teary eyes.
We waited for an hour without knowing what else to do. They all came outside with her lying in a stretcher.
"She has internal bleeding in her stomach. We need to operate immediately. Don't worry" she said moving to an OR without even letting me inside.
As a doctor, I couldn't able to do anything in this situation. I always asked her to go in car but she denied saying she likes to drive in bike.
I waited for an hour almost getting mad at myself. They came out.
"She is fine but she is very weak. It will take time to recover. We all will take good care of her so don't worry" mom said.
They went and I asked the nurse to shift her to room. They did it and I waited beside her. She had many bandages in her body.
After three more hours, she slowly opened her eyes. She looked across the room and at me.
"Take me home" she whispered slowly.
"What?" I was shocked to the core. Was this a first word to tell after surgery.
"I don't want to be here. Take me home" she whispered panicking.
"Are you kidding? You had a surgery just before 3 hrs. You need to stay here atleast for 4 days" I whispered.
She immediately shook her head continuously making me frown. She tried to wake up and thrashed her legs.
I held her shoulders and called my mom inside. Everyone came inside and watched her state confusion taken over all their faces.
I left her shoulder. She looked at her mom slipping a single tear from her eyes.
"Mom, take me home, please" she whispered stammering. She looked so pale and panicking. Everyone looked at each other. Her dad came to her side and wiped her tears.
"We are with you Tina. Don't worry" he said but she didn't accept anything. She was continuously argued with us to take her home and I signalled aunty to sedate her.
She moved towards her and without her notice, she mixed the medicine in her iv. Tina became tired and slept. We all went out.
"If it's her wish, then why can't we discharge her and take care of her at home?" my mom said. I glared at her.
"Mom, are you serious? How is this possible and how can you take her home in this condition?" I asked her.
"Why not? Let her be here till tonight. We will discharge her tomorrow morning. She will be able to sit so no problem" she said.
"And we have all the medicines at home itself" my dad said. I agreed.
I asked aunty and uncle to go home for night. My dad too went home. I asked my mom too but she declined saying she will stay here. Now, she went to operate for an emergency pregnancy case so she informed me that she will come late.
I was in my room trying to atleast clear all paper works. A nurse immediately barged in my room without my notice.
"Madam was behaving differently doctor" she said continuously without break. I immediately stood from my place and ran towards her room.
I opened the door hearing her screaming. She was screaming at all the nurses to go out of the room. I ran close to her calling her name.
"Tina, calm down. You will hurt your stitches" I yelled pushing her shoulder at bed. Within a second, she thrashed and kicked a nurse making her to fall flat in the floor.
That's when I lost all my patience and slapped across her cheek watching her tear slip from her eyes. It broke my heart. I asked the nurse to move out and they did quickly because of the fear.
"I am so sorry Tina" I whispered wiping her tears. She pushed my hand away in a fraction of second and continued her silent tears.
I sat beside her thinking how to convince her. I need to do CT scan to make sure she is perfectly alright. This is the first time I saw her like this. She was so mad at everyone.
I looked at her. She looked at the ceiling eliminating her tears. I couldn't able to see her like this. I have to give her medicine which was a shot. Already she is crying, I don't know how to give her.
I slowly stood and went towards the table. I prepared a shot in a less minute and moved towards her. She looked at me widening her eyes.
I rubbed her upper hand with an antiseptic and stabbed her slowly. She closed her eyes and winced in pain. I quickly did it and rubbed her hand again.
She cried silently without looking at me and she slept with her thoughts. I wiped her tears and was looking at her sleeping face.
After sometime, I took her to CT scan room and found out that her head is normal.
Mom came and slept in the couch and I slept bending my head in her bed with my hand as pillow.
In the morning, I and my mom wokeup early and drank coffee. My mom went to freshup. I too moved to my cabin. Aunty came early and went to her room.
After an hour, I went to her room. I heard her crying sound begging her mom to take her home when I entered inside. They both looked at me. I went inside and stood beside her.
"We will take you to home in an hour. Just calm down now" I said. I saw the relief in her eyes but she didn't looked at me. I know she was still mad at me for slapping her. I sat in a chair.
Aunty gave her coffee. She prepared a shot and looked at me. Tina started protesting and asked her to stop. I went beside her and held her in a position. She pulled her shirt up and rubbed her hand.
Tina already started crying. Aunty did it quickly and rubbed her hand. She itself consoled her.
After few more minutes, we slowly made her in car and took her to home. I left my dad to take care of hospital and uncle too went to his hospital.
I carefully lifted her and took to a room in a ground floor. After connecting iv in her hand, my mom and aunty went out to cook something for her.
I sat beside her. I felt her head in my chest in a second and I looked at her. She was hugging me tightly and crying her eyes out.
"Tina, what happened to you? Why are you crying now?" I said patting her shoulders. She didn't raised her head from my chest instead she cried hardly. I let her cry for few minutes.
She controlled her cries and distanced from hug. She looked at me with her tears filled eyes.
"It's not just an accident. It's a preplanned and a sketched accident" she whispered slowly.
"What?" I asked confused and shocked.
"Yeah, I know him. He was blackmailing me to sign in an illegal document. It's been more than a month so I didn't took his blackmail as serious. Yesterday morning he called me and said that he was watching me wherever I go. I didn't took that as serious and went. A truck suddenly came from nowhere and hitted me." she said stammering. I was recollecting all the things she said.
"Then how do you know he did this?" I asked her.
"When I was lying there with full of blood, he appeared infront of me with all the peoples. He even whispered in my ear that he did this and he even set nurses at hospital to kill me. That's why I was scared and behaved rude at them" she said. I couldn't able to control my anger.
"Why didn't you tell this before?" I asked immediately.
"No, he blackmailed that if I said this to anyone, he will kill that person too. That's why I begged everyone to take me home. Even now I am so scared of him" she said sobbing. I hugged her to control her fear.
"See, don't worry. Nothing will happen to us. Just give his details, I will try to do what I can" I said to her. At first she declined saying it will affect me but after compelling her, she gave all the details.
I know commissioner and I talked to him about this. Within an hour, he arrested him and I made sure that he will not come out from there.
I thought to meet him and my nerves are boiling to punch his face but I can't. So I controlled myself after completing all these works.
After completing my lunch, I went towards her room hearing her screaming sound. I fed up with this girl already but I really proud of her for going through all this.
I went inside and saw my mom with a needle and aunty is trying to convince her. She looked at me and yelled my name again and again to save her. I went towards her.
"Akshay please, save me. I don't want this" she yelled moving lightly with her painful body. I sighed.
"You need this baby, just it will take 10 seconds. Don't worry" my mom said looking at her but I knew very well that it will not convince her easily.
I and aunty held her in a position. We slowly made her lay on her side. Tina started screaming but we both held her tightly. My mom did it making her cry harder.
I asked them both to eat their lunch so they went. I hugged her letting her cry.
"That idiot is in jail now. Nothing to worry hereafter." I said. She widened her eyes.
"What? He will do something Akshay. Why did you do this?" she asked panicking.
"Tina, trust me. He can't do anything and I made sure of that. So stop worrying now and concentrate on your health" I said.
She hugged me and after few minutes, she slept because of the medicine. Just a one hell day of my life.
I sighed and slept beside her without knowing that the next day will be more hell than this?
