2:00am
after dropping milo home i got to the appartment around 1:56 am and ever since ive still been awake, i couldnt believe i was in the same car as a movie star. That shit made me feel excited
"Alex wake up.." i whispered as i tapped her arm
"What" she groaned
"Were going ATL in 2 days" i shrieked.
Instead of getting excited she pushed my hands away and carried on getting her Z's.
"I hope you feel more sober in the morning" i texted milo.
"Im so embarassed, thank you so much for dropping me home" he replied
I took my pill out of the packet swollowing it as the water followed behind, i hope i didnt scare Milo by accidentally telling him i used to fight.
I rolled and rolled over my bed until i felt quite sleepy

There was 21 hours left before i embarked to atlanta i wanted to meet up with David to thank him for making my birthday so special and buying me a car, it was weird.. i felt as if i was really starting to like him.
"Hello" i said as someone picked up the phone
"D, i cant talk right now im really busy" David said.
"Oh okay i just wanted to let you know that im going Atlanta tomorrow" i told him
He was quite for a few seconds.
"Okay i can come with you" he said.
"What!" Both me and alex said, alex sat at the tip of my bed smacking on her red cheethos.
"Who you with?" David asked.
"My roomate, anyways you cant come i just wanted to let you know and thank you" i said.
"Oh its like that?" He chuckled "its cool i got business in atlanta anyway" he comtinued.
"Imma pick you up at 5:30" he said.
"Okay" i replied and hung up.
"D you know you aint gotta tell him were you at everytime, its not like he tells you were hes at!! And yall not even official" alex said.
"We not official but trust me his mine." I said to her.
"I hope you dont forget his dad could possibly be the killer of your dad" Alex said.
She was right, but that would be between me and jerome not David
"And what if David doesnt know anything about it" i said
"All im saying gurl is ignoring the red flags is gon' cost you later" she said taking her cheethos with her.
That left me thinking, she was right.. i was getting too comfortable with someone who was possibly my opp
I tapped the window slowly so it could follow my heartbeat.
I made a decision.
"Alex" i whispered as i stood infront of her.
"Why you acting spooky?" She said smiling.
"Im not going to go to Atlanta" i said to her
"What!!" She said "girl you lying" she continued.
"There is no way in hell your letting me go all alone"
"Alex just listen, im going to give you some money for you to rent an appartment or something once you get there, Milo will look after you ill text him to! I need to run some business" i said to her.
"No diamond we do things together, what business do you need to do. Ill do it with you" she desperatley said
"Im going to be staying with David, his no good for you to be around" i said
"And what makes you think your better off around him then with me, your being naïve" she replied.
"Alex, i know David im going to find out as much as i can okay?" I said to her
"This is about my dad, its personal to me i want to fix things without getting you involved" i continued
She closed her eyes and finally gave up, lifting her pinky finger in the air
"Promise..." she said
"Promise what?"
"That your going to stay safe no matter what" she whispered as a tear rolled down her eyes
I linked my pinky finger with hers and kissed it, as soon as i released hers i gave her a hug not wanting to let go.
"Alright bitch" she said pushing me off.
I chuckled.
Im gonna miss her

"Davids soon going to pick me up you sure your gonna be fine" i asked her.
She rolled her eyes
"Bitch you know it" she said and carried on folding her clothes into her suit case.
"Ive texted milo, his arrived already" i said to her "and your taking my rover there"
"Are you serious?!" She said
"You think im gonna let you go out there in public transport?"
"But seriously DONT crash it or do some stupid shit with it cus girl i know you" i carried on
"Bitch.. the most id do is have sex in the backseat durh" she laughed.
"Alex.. no! I dont want no pussy juice in my car" i replied to her.
We both laughed until we no longer could and there stood silence.
"Im really gonna miss you" she said.
"I know girlie" i replied
Minutes passed and beneath the early street light a car honked from outside the window
"I think its david" she said lurking around the window
"Oh shit already?" I said as i ran to the porch
It felt like i hadn't seen his face in quite a while, i missed him
His fine ass.
"I thought you was picking me up at 5:30" i yelled across the road
"Just thought id surpise shawty" he replied licking his lips from a distance.
I looked away smiling like a dumbass
"So you going ATL huh?" He said.
"Not anymore" i replied.
He sighed in relief
"Why you glad i aint going?" I smirked
"Why wouldn't i be?" He said lighting up his blunt
I finally decided to cross the road, as i stood infront of him he analyzed every curve in my body
"You wanted to meet me.." i said trying to start a conversation
"Well since your not going Atlanta anymore i want you to stay with me for a few days" he said slowly inhaling his smoke
I nodded and didnt want to think about it twice
"Imma go get-"
"You dont need anything, just me and you" he said
I smiled
"Can i atleast say bye to my roomate" i said to him
"Oh shi, shes going ATL?" He asked
"Yeah"
"Thats sound" he replied.
I ran across the street as the breeze hit my face.
Alex im going to miss you like hell
"Okay girl im going" i said standing at the door.
"Okay im done packing and were you going" she said trying to zip her suitcase shutt
"Im going to be with David for a while, its safer.. now that your gone im not staying in the appartment alone" i said trying to smile
"As long as your going to check on the house daily" she said
I nodded
"Well this is goodbye until-"
"WERE GOING TO FACETIME EVERYDAY WHAT YOU TALKING ABOUT?" she yelled.
I laughed
"Yes i will dont worry"
We hugged really tight for minutes until a car honked again
"I swear im gon' rip that honk right outta that car" she muttered
I chuckled
"The keys to my car are in my thongs draw" i said to her.
"You nasty ass hoe i aint touching that" she said
I burst out laughing
"Jokes there underneath the carpet" i said.
"Alright bitch get the fuck out now, and dont forget me" she said once more
I made my way out and finally got in Davids car
"Wont your friend need a ride?" He asked.
"No she's gonna use the car you gave me" i told him
I rolled the window down as Davids smoke invaded the whole space.
"You dont smoke do you?" He said
"Just once in a while, not like you" i told him
"You need to stop smoking is bad for you" i continued
He laughed as he stirred the wheel with one hand, he made it look so easy
"Theres worse things i do, death doesnt scare me" he said.
I bit my lip and kept quiet
I turned the radio up connecting the bluetooth to my phone and put on playing games by summer walker
"Diamond what do you like" he asked.
"What i like?" Damn no-ones ever asked me that before.
"Things like what?"
"Your favorite movie?" He said
"American gangsters" i said to him
"You lying" he said
"What? Im not"
"Thats my favorite movie!!" He said
For once i felt like i was having a proper conversation with him. This is the david i wanted to be around with more. Not the Thug who doesnt care who he comes across
"Do you ever want kids?" I asked him out of the blue
"No" he quickly replied.
It kind of stung, i wanted kids! And i wanted them with him
We stopped at the red lights
"You would make a great dad, you get along with Lia pretty well" i said to him
"But if you payed attention you know the black vipers kidnapped her, why get attached to someone for them to be ripped of from you, i wouldnt want to bring a creature to this horrible world" he said in such pain and anger.
He gripped the car seat really tight it almost started tearing appart, i put my hand ontop of his and he slowly let go of his strong grip
"Your wrong, because your giving that child a chance to live, a chance to become something or not, thats if their influenced right" i said to him
He was quiet and carried on driving
He stopped the car out of nowhere and pulled up at the curve
"What are you doing!! A car can pass by at any minute" i said to him
"Then let them" he replied
All of a sudden he put his hand on my face and leaned in to kiss me, i was taken by surpise, my heart was beating. I mean his lips were nice and shit!!
Our tounges flickered, i didnt care it was David after all.
"What was that for?" I asked as he pulled away.
"Nothing" he whispered and turned the engine back on
He carried on driving and was smiling to himself
"You weird ass hell" i finally said.
"Weird about you" he mumbled
I kept a serious face on but i wanted to burst out laughing,
We finally arrived at his house he finally parked his car along the other ones
Seeing this place shocked me each time, it was gorgeous
As we walked in he poured a glass of white-wine for both of us, this started to become a routine
As i thought it was just us two at the place i heard shouting from upstairs.
David loudly slammed the glass bottle on the table to check out the sound, he was lucky it didnt shatter.
"Whos here?" He asked the security guard closest to the door.
"DAVID you home!!?" Someone yelled, their voice sounded familiar
David tried running up the stairs but at the top of the stairs i saw Zak and trey.
ZAK AND TREY!! JAYS FRIENDS. what the heck were they doing here! I thought
Their made their way downstairs and had their mouths wide open in shock
"Zak...trey what are you guys doing here" i asked them
"Give us a second" david said
He grabbed them both by the hand and took them to a corner and they began whispering
