Alice's point of view
I watched as he drove off. I couldn't breathe. I cried then I screamed then I cried again. Eventually I cried myself to sleep.
Two months later
"Aliceion hunny please get out of bed" nanny said
"I can't" I said from under the blankets
"I don't know what happened but you can't stay in bed forever" she said
"I don't know what to do nanny" I said while pulling the blankets off of me
"You have to let it hurt hun I know you don't want me to say that but it's true" she said
"Yeah I guess you're right" I said slowly getting out of bed
It's been two months since he left. No calls. No texts. Nothing. I can finally get through the day without crying so I guess that's good.
"Are you going to go to school today " she asked
"Yeah but I'm going to go late" I said
"Okay I'll go get some coffee and start a bath" she said
I checked my phone even though I knew nothing would be on it
I took a bath then got ready. I really wanted a Breakfast burrito from McDonald's so I decided to stop and get one. I got my food and a orange juice. I was just trying to walk to a table when some ass came turning the corner like a bat out of hell hitting me and making me drop everything
"Come on" I said
"I'm sorry I was in the bathroom and I heard them calling my name" he said bending down
"It's fine" I said
"I'm really sorry" he said trying to clean the mess up
"It's fine really" I said then he stood up
He stood up and I finally looked at him. He had jet black hair with green eyes. He looked at me then smiled and said
"Let me buy you another one"
"Deal I'm hungry" I said with a smile
He ordered me another burrito and orange juice then got his pancakes and coffee. After we got our food we sat down to eat together.
"You live around here" he asked
"Yeah what about you" I asked taking a bite of my Burrito
"Yeah I've lived here my whole life but I've never seen you" he said
"Well I've never seen you" I said
We talked about random things after that. I found out he's 20 and he's in college Training to be a doctor. His name is Jessie but he likes to be called Jess and he hates worms and the color yellow. I told him about myself and we talked about Conspiracy theories until we were both done Eating.
"Thanks for eating with me" he said
"Thanks for knocking my food out my hand" I said with a laugh
"Hey Alice" he said
"Yeah" I said
"Do you maybe wanna do it again sometime" he asked
I'm not over Brandon but I can't pine over him forever
"I'd like that" I said with a smile then gave him my number
I drove to school and went through my day like normal. At lunch I got a message that said
"Hey it's Jess" it said
"Hey jess" I replied
We texted for a while until he had to go to class and I was bored again
"Hey Aliceion" I heard a voice say
I looked up to see Lindsey.
"Hey" I said
"Can I sit" she asked
"Sure" I said
She sat next to me then said
"Look I know you probably don't like me but I just want you to know I'm not a threat" she said
"A threat" I asked raising my brow
"I'm mean a threat in you and Brandon's relationship" she said
"Oh um Brandon and I broke up" I said
"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know" she said
"It's okay" I said
"So me and you can be cool"She asked
"Yeah" I said
"Good" she said with a smile
We talked for the rest of lunch and as much as I hated to say it. I liked Lindsey. The rest of the day was fine and after school Jess and I got on the phone.
"Let's go out Friday night" he said
"Okay where" I asked
"The movies" he said
"Okay let's do it" I said
For the rest of the week we talked and Lindsey and I hung out. When Friday rolled around I was exited. I put on jeans with my black boots and a black crop top. Yes I'm changing my style up.
"You look good" Jess said when he picked me up
"You too" I said
We went and saw After we collided and it was great. After the movie we decided to go on a walk.
"That movie had a god awful amount of sex in it" he said
"I mean I'd have sex with Hardin Scott too" I said with a laugh
"I mean yeah but Tessa kinda deserved better" he said
"Yeah but she loved him" I said
"Okay but still I think Trevor was better for her" he said
"You really need to read the books" I said
"Maybe I will" he said
"If you read the book I promise you you're Opinion will change because yeah Hardin is an ass but you have to see why he's the way he is and he loved Tessa unconditionally" I rambled
"Sorry I know I talk a lot" I said
"It's OK you're passionate about it I think it's cute" he said
I smiled but said nothing
"So is there a crazy ex I should be worried about" he asked
"No I only have two" I said
"Wow same" he said
"Kassie and Emily" he said
"Chad and Brandon" I said
"Kassie and I dated a year and Emily and I dated for 8 months but I've been single about 3 months" he said
"Chad and I dated for almost 4 years and Brandon and I dated for 3 months and I've been single for about 2 months" I said
"Oh" he said
"Yeah" I said
"Well Kassie and I broke up because she's gay and Emily cheated" he said
"Chad cheated with my best friend multiple times and lost his virginity to her and Brandon moved back home" I said
"well which one did you love more" he asked
"Brandon, Chad was more of a puppy love" I said
" And it's crazy because I was with Chad longer but I felt more for Brandon and three months than I ever did for him" I said
"Personally I loved Emily more Even though I was with Kassie longer I don't think it matters how long y'all are together at all depends on the person" he said
"I agree" I said
Suddenly he stopped walking and looked at me
"I'm glad I met you" he said
"I'm glad I met you too you make the world a little less sucky" I said with a laugh
"Do you want to kiss me because I really want to kiss you" he said
"I really want to kiss you too" I said
I actually want to
"Good" he said then leaned it
We kissed for a few seconds before he pulled away
"Wow" he said
"Wow" I replied shocked
He was a good kisser. A really good kisser. We kept walking until finally he asked
"Do you want to go back it's late"
I looked at my phone and realized it was 3:00 in the morning
"Oh my God I didn't realize how late it was" I said
"Me either" he said with a laugh
He drove me back to my house. But before I got out the car he kissed me again. I wasn't over Brandon I don't think I'll ever really be over Brandon but I like Jess and he made me feel better so I wanted to see where this was going to go.
