Jase ended up telling me everything. I sat there stumped. I can't believe I had a relationship with my step brothers. It was weird being around them knowing. Do I tell them I know. Does it matter? Their moving to Florida soon. They leave after graduation.
The house went thru. Its a great house. It's huge. Brody picked it out. He drove up to this huge house in a expensive neighborhood. I thought it was a joke. He put in a code in the buzzer and the gates opened. He drives in. The driveway wasn't to big. Maybe five cars long. We get out and he pulls out the keys.
We go up to the front door and he unlocks it. We walk into a huge foyer that has a big stain glass window above the front door. All this different colors floating thru the air. I look at him and smile. There is three ways to go. A fancy staircase going up and two hallways. We go thru the hallway and its this huge kitchen with Livingroom room attached. Sliding glass doors that look out to the pool. I walk over to a doorway and look down to see stairs.
"Its the basement. We will make it into a huge game room. ." Brody says.
I close the door. I walk back thru the hallway and go down the other one. There's three big bedrooms and a door to the garage. I walk back and go upstairs. There's six bedrooms upstairs. I walk to the end and open the door. The bedroom is huge. A walk in closet, a bathroom, and a balcony that looks over the backyard. I walk out there. I notice another door. I end up walking into another bedroom.
"This is going to be my room. Im taking the room next to yours." Brody says to me.
"My room is that giant room?"
"Yeah and next to my room can be Nicky's. We can put your friend down the hall or in the basement."
"Brody don't be mean. You will like Blake. We can have Stacy and Natalie move in too." I say.
"Did they get in?"
"Yup. Can you believe it? Last week until graduation." I say throwing my arms in the air.
"I know its crazy. I'm going to move the furniture from my parents house over here. I'm having the movers do it tomorrow. Do you want to help unpack it?"
"Your parents aren't going to take it?"
"No they told us to take what we want and donate the rest."
"Yeah I can help unpack. "
"I think you should just take your old bedroom set from my house and keep your bedroom the same at your dads." Brody says.
"Yeah thats a good idea. What's Jase going to do?" I ask. I should of talked to Jase about this.
"He's putting everything that he wants in storage. He has to stay in the football dorms. He has to be there for his scholarship."
"Oh.." I know I don't have to with my scholarship. Mine doesn't cover all my tuition. I still have a lot to pay.
"You know he chose to go to UCLA. He's just going to be living on campus. Their a lot stricter with the football and basketball players."
"He did?"
"He didn't tell you, did he?"
"No and I have been scared to ask. I don't really know what's going on between us. He sneaks in my room at night and is gone before I wake up. We cuddle alot and thats about it."
"He still loves you and he's sticking around to wait for you to catch up." Brody says. We get back in his truck and head home.
Friday came and We all got ready together. It was crazy. Brody and I are all moved into the house. We're going to have a party there tonight to celebrate. Jase has all his stuff packed. Chase and Alex packed their stuff to. It's crazy how we're all separating tomorrow morning.
I have my new dress on. I'm in the bathroom getting ready. It happened, my senior year is over. I feel so overwhelmed. Im in the bathroom crying. My makeup is running.
"Dani, you okay? What's wrong? " Jase asks.
"It's just that we're all graduating and I will never see you guys. My mom isn't here. She's supposed to be here to watch me graduate." I say. Still crying and slobbering. Jase comes up and wipes my face.
"I'm going to be right on campus. I'm not going anywhere. We will see everyone come thanksgiving. Your mom is up there watching. " Jase says to me.
"Awww thanks Jase. I'm glad your not going away. I do love you. I'm sorry I don't remember all of us."
"I love you to babe. We will get there again." Jase says. He pulls me in for a hug.
We get to the civic center. We go and sign in. I put on my cap and gown. I then find Natalie, Stacy, and Lauren. It's so exciting and sad. We start hugging each other.
The time finally came and we all got called across the stage. I cried as I crossed it. Im not ready to say bye to high school. It feels like it went by to fast.
Chase grabbed hold of me first. He pulled me into a hug. I wrapped my arms around him. I felt his heart racing.
"It happened. We all graduated. I'm going to miss you. You have meant so much to me. If you ever need me, please let me know. Dani, you will always have a piece of me. After everything, I owe you so much."
"Chase, you don't owe me."
"I do and you will always have me. I will always be here for you. Anything Dani, and I will be here. If you ever want to talk or if you remember anything call me." Chase says and kisses me lightly on the lips. He then looks at me one last time and walks away.
I look up and watch him go. I feel completely shocked. I realize he still has feelings for me. I shake it off. I'm not ready to act on anything. I walk back around the corner. We hug each other one last time. Brody comes over and throws me over his shoulder.
He brings me out to the parking lot. We all get in the truck and head out for our last meal together for the next five months.
