"Michael!!!! Give me attention!" I whined.
"I'm busy." He said as he cleaned his blade.
"I have been sitting here watching you torture that demon for half a hour... let's go do something fun."
"Why do I keep you around?" He asked as he shook his head.
"Because you love me." I said with a smile.
"In your dreams." He said as he put the knife away.
I let out a sigh as I plopped down and felt a pout appear on my lips. Michael let out a sigh and shook his head.
"Alright, I have to go take care of business go entertain yourself." He said as he walked out of the room.
"I'll just go have a drink." I said as I stood up and walked out of the building.
I smiled as I walked into a bar and ordered a drink. I sipped at my drink until I felt a blade against my stomach. I turned to see Sam Winchester beside me and I held my breath.
"Come with me now." He ordered.
He grabbed my arm and pulled me beside him. He forced me to go with him and then we arrived in the bunker. I was tied up and left in the meeting area.
"How did you become Michael's second in command?" Sam asked sternly.
"I plead the fifth." I said softly.
"Talk!" Castiel ordered as he stabbed me in my leg.
I let out a gasp and hunched forward.
"Why would Michael want a human as his second in command?" Sam asked calmly.
"I don't know! We just met one day and he kept me close.... he doesn't even like me!" I gasped out as Castiel moved the knife.
"Then why is he always watching you?" Castiel asked angrily.
"I don't know! I don't know why he keeps me around? I really don't... he doesn't tell me anything!"
"Cas Enough if you kill her we won't have anything." Sam said softly.
"Fine, but the knife stays in." Castiel said as he stood up and left the room with Sam.
I felt tears stream down my face as I tried to slow my breathing. When I calmed down I moved my head down and used my teeth to pull the knife out. I felt my head start to spin and I moved to drop the knife in my hand. I let out a groan as I dropped the knife on the ground. I tipped my chair over and used my hands to grab the knife. After cutting my ropes I limped up the stairs.
"Cas! She has escaped!" Sam yelled.
I pushed through the doors and let out a gasp as I came face to face with Michael. He grabbed my arm and snapped his fingers taking us back to our building. He picked me up and carried me over to a table and gently touched my leg.
"What happen?" He asked as he healed my wound.
"They found me at a bar.... tried to figure it why you kept me around... I told them I didn't know." I said as he gently moved his hand away.
"Which one did this?" He asked angrily.
"Castiel.... he seemed to think I was lying." I said softly.
"I'll make him pay."
"Why do you keep me around?.... I couldn't even fight a human... in the weakest one here... in a liability." I said softly.
"You said it yourself... I keep you around because I love you." He said as he moved my hair to the side.
I looked at him shocked and he let out a sigh.
"Did you really think that I didn't care about you?" He asked as he moved his hand to the side of my face.
"I thought I was an annoyance." I whispered.
"No... you aren't..... you mean the world to me... and you are the only important thing to me." He said as he kissed my forehead.
I smiled as he moved away and I met his eyes. I slowly leaned up and he leaned down and gently kissed me.
