Wow, the first quarter of the year's already flown by. Isn't it strange? I feel it's just been January yesterday.
I made a rather big collage of all my sketches (traditional ones), from January to March. I couldn't fit all of them in, since the scanned ones sometimes didn't turn out quite right. Ah, well, it's still quite a lot, so enjoy, haha. I'll have some digital art scraps below, along with a few other pieces that didn't make it into the collage.
Woo! Fun stuff.
There was a month where I hardly drew at all (*cough* no inspiration *cough*), and it was a bit strange getting back to art, haha. The pencil just felt a little weird in my hand, the strokes were "unreal", if you understand what I mean. Then I watched Treasure Planet, and then I got back into the real swing of things, hah! It's a really good movie, I love it to bits.
Anyway, more art?
These are the scraps and other little things:
^^ Unfinished Sei, in an alternate costume. This was mainly for testing out the color layout. Sei's colors are dark red, brown, and white (for clothes). For her alternate costume here, I wanted to switch the colors to different parts of her clothing than usual.
^^ Here you see her normal clothes (left) and the alternate one I designed (right).
^^ Albino character, Sen! He's an animal bounty hunter. There are supposed to be more scars on his face, but eh.
^^ Getting used to drawing Beegu again, since I hadn't drawn him for such a long time. The profile faces look a little awkward, to me. I always have a problem with the nose and mouth part, oof. But he's so cute, eee~
^^ Don't know what to do with this character yet, but I gave him the name Ihstak for now. The left version is the original, without filters.
^^ One of those time when you want to draw but have no idea what to actually do--right here. Haha. I drew Sen's eye, because I was absolutely puzzled what I should draw. I did Sen right afterwards, in the end.
Right, that's about it for today. I'll have more art sooner or later. See ya!
