Nadia and I decided to just chill the rest of the afternoon. Her calling out from work and I not having anything planned for the day was a major plus.
We were currently binge watching 'Stranger Things' because Nadia said it was a must watch. She already watched season one, so she's rewatching with me so I get caught up.
Right as it was getting to the good part, my doorbell rang.
I was honestly confused because I really wasn't expecting anyone. I easily narrowed it down to who could be at the door because Tevin and Chris were the only ones with the security code.
Handing Nadia the popcorn I saw the confused expression she had.
"I'll just go see who it is I'll be back" I said getting up
Heading to the door, I looked at the camera on the key pad—my suspicions were correct. Behind the door stood Chris and Luke. What the fuck do they want?!
Opening the door, I was pushed aside immediately as Luke and Chris made their way in.
"So you ready to play?" Chris said rubbing his hands together
"Play what? What the fuck are you guys doing here anyway?" I whisper yelled annoyed
"What do you mean? You said we could come" Luke said raising an eyebrow
"When the fuck did I say that?" I asked confused
"Remember on the plane ride from Arizona , we were talking about chillin at Tevin's house? Tevin said he couldn't do it cause he had to do wedding shit with his fiancée, so we asked you if we could chill at yours and you said yes" Chris explained
I remember that vaguely, given the fact I was half asleep when I agreed.
"Listen guys now is not a good tim-" I was immediately cut off by Luke
"Why you still got pajamas on?" He asked
"Hunter you're gonna miss the whole episode" I heard Nadia yell from the living room
"Just pause, it I'll be right there" I yelled back before turning to the guys "y'all gotta go" I said firmly
"Nah, nah I wanna meet her" Chris said with a smirk on his face as he started to walk backwards toward the living room.
"Chris I think the fuck not" Nadia doesn't like surprises, I've learned that about her.
"Yeah I kinda want to meet her too" Luke said smiling giddily
"No, leave" I said pointing to the door
Luke and Chris turned each other and smirked. Next thing I know they were running into the living room. Fuck!
Chris was fast as fuck and already made it to the living room, Luke on the other hand was able to only make it to the doorway before I put him in a chokehold.
It was too late though, Nadia already saw them both.
Nadia had a shocked expression on her face at the sight of both Chris and Luke. I slowly let go of Luke like a kid getting caught stealing candy.
"Uhm" was the only sound that came out of her mouth as her eyes look around to survey the situation.
When her eyes landed on me, she shot me a glare.
Chris was the first to introduce himself "Hi, you must be the beautiful Nadia. I'm Chris Anthony" he said as Nadia stuck her hand out to shake his.
"Hi" she let out nervously
"Geez you're gorgeous, even better looking in person then in pictures"
"Pictures, plural?" She asked with a raised brow. Nadia knows I only posted on picture of her on IG. Chris for the love of God, keep your mouth shut.
"Yeah I remember the day he met you, the plane ride was it? He couldn't stop talking about this girl he met" he said a sly smile on his face
"Okayyy" I dragged out nervously "I think she's heard enough"
"No wait continue, I wanna hear this" Nadia smiled. I looked at Nadia pleadingly to stop this madness, she just smirked before turning back to Chris
"Yeah we were all chillin at Tevin's house, and Hunter's all like 'look guys I found her Instagram'. Me and Tevin were so shocked that you know he would insta-stalk you just like that you kno-"
"Nadia don't listen to him he's lying" I said shaking my head embarrassingly
"Oh this is getting good" Luke said clapping his hands before taking a seat on the couch.
"You and Tevin told me to look her up" I said pointing at him
"Hunter it's okay we all know the truth" Chris said trying to sound sincere
"Nadia come on-"
"Hunter it's ok" she said trying to hold in her laughter, she then turns to Luke
"And you are?" She askes interested
"Oh sorry, I'm Luke" he said going to shake her hand "Hunter's friend slash relationship advice giver"
"Relationship advice giver?" She repeated confused
"Yeah cause you know Hunter asked-" I immediately cut him off before he said too much
"Okayyy guys as you can see, I'm hanging with my girl today we will hang another time" I said grabbing them both and dragging them out by the collar.
I opened the door and quickly pushed both of them out "I fucking hate you guys! Y'all are gonna fucking get it next time I see you" I whispered out as menacingly as I can.
Shutting the door, I heard laughing on the other side.
Walking back to the living room, I sat down next to Nadia without making eye contact. I was so fucking embarrassed. I'm gonna beat there ass
"You can press play now" I said somberly
"So you insta-stalked me not once, but twice" she said with humor in her voice
"Nadia please put me out of my misery and play the show" I said looking at her
"Hunter no need to be embarrassed" she said with a small smile "I actually find it really cute" she said grinning
"Really?"
"No, you're weird now" she said as her face got serious before she grabbed the remote pressing play.
"You think you're so funny huh?" I asked
playfully
"The funniest" she responds
I immediately grabbed her sides tickling her stomach
"Hunter stop, the popcorn" she said laughing as the popcorn spilled everywhere
