I can't believe I'm doing this I can't believe I'm showing up at this apartment in my pajamas to cuddle with a girl
That thought even made my face scrunch up I gripped my steering wheel maybe I could turn around say I'm sick that could work
Okay no no I have to do this I have to do this to see Alexis in a mini skirt
I pulled into a parking spot grumbling under my breath I got out double locking my car to be safe I can't remember the last time I was out in public in sweat pants
I walked up the stairs knocking on her door
"COMING" I heard her squeak seconds later her door opened "no no... yes I know" she laughed she was on the phone "okay no really I have to go... I'm sucking d*ck none of your business why Nicolas" she snipped stepping aside I walked in she closed the door locking it behind me "no bye bye bye Nick BYE" she hung up and huffed then looked up at me "howdy" she waved
I furrowed my eyebrows "hello who was that on the phone?"
"My friend Nicholas he's at some frat house friend's party and wants me to come" she rolled her eyes
"Oookay well uhh you still on for cuddles or what?" I tried to get that out of my head she had friends I mean I assume she did and It'd be dumb of me to think she didn't have male friends he was nothing and he was going to stay nothing
"Yeah totally sofas right there I have drinks I'll be right back" I turned around and walked over to her sofa it was beige even I wasn't bold enough for white colored furniture I sat down and she had blankets and pillows so I helped myself to a blanket as I opened it I huffed a laugh it was a twilight blanket but damn it was soft
"Okay lemonade, chips'n dip, and pizza goldfish if this isn't the best snack rage I dunno what is" she laughed sitting down handing me an extremely large plastic cup of lemonade
"Okay so I'm gunna flip through you tell me when you see something you like" I took a sip humming at the taste that was actually really good her personal list had some good stuff
"Lets watch twilight zone" I pointed to it
"Oh my fav" she clicked it and it started "have you ever had pizza goldfish?" She held a hand full to me
"I'd be lying if I said I regularly partake in eating any kind of goldfish at all" I let her pour it into my hand I skeptically looked at one plopping it into my mouth and it was good being the man I am I threw my head back taking the whole handful in one bite
"Monster" she laughed putting 2 in her mouth
"Can I ask you something?" I smirked at her as she was covered in a blanket with a wolf on it she had on just a tank top and maroon sweats
"Go at it" she nodded
"You're Hispanic right?"
"Mhm mi abuelito es de Honduras mi abuelita es de Venezuela" she spoke Spanish but even without knowing exactly what she said I could guess someone was from Honduras and someone was from Venezuela
"Pardon?"
"My grandfather is Honduran and my grandmother is Venezuelan on my fathers side at least my mothers family is as white as they come" she giggled "Irish mostly"
"Wow that's cute you're cute" I scooted a bit closer "your parents they get along? Your mom speaks Spanish?"
"No" she put everything down and sat back staring off "my mom was 15 when she had me and my father was 17 they were together sure but she's an alcoholic she also beat him he stayed to take care of me for awhile"
I put everything down too "15? Sh-she's-" like Angel "oh my god Baby girl come here" I opened my arms to her she scooted just a little I ended up pulling her close to my chest "I'm so so so sorry" I kissed her hair rubbing her back holding her pretty tightly
"It's nothing I'm sure I'm not the first sob story you had to endure hearing" she played with the neckline of my shirt
I frowned "actually yes it is none of the others had anything but perfect spoiled childhoods usually only children in already pretty well off families" I think that's part of what made her attractive she was so different from my usual not just physically but her background as well especially her personality that is the biggest stretch and by far my favorite thing about her
"Oh you're the picky kind sorry to end your streak" she leaned her head back looking up at me "question"
"Shoot"
"So why no commitment?"
"I'm not the committed kinda guy" she plucked one of my curls making me laugh softly
"Okay then why have sugar babies?"
"To have fun I like girls, I like what they can do for me, and I like to buy things for them makes me feel manly like a good provider" I rolled my shoulders smirking
"Me man me big strong me hunt animal for me woman" she made a caveman voice then started laughing I let my head fall back against the cushion smiling away against my own will
"Yes pretty much" I agreed
"That's really cute Harry"
"Cute? Baby I can't remember the last time anyone called me cute"
"Well me neither until you said it" she was still playing in my hair I don't think any one of my sugar babies had played in my hair I don't think I would have let them if I'm honest with myself "what about kids? Don't you want kids? Or too much commitment"
"What's with you and kids?" I shook my head and turned my head to the side looking down at her
"I love kids I used to be a live in nanny and I still babysit sometimes" I guess I could understand why she was so fond
"Well uh if I say no you'd nitpick me if I said yes you'd probably nitpick me still so no comment"
"God what am I the press?" She whined
"Seems like it" I shrugged
"Statement" she raised a hand "you are cuddling me and enjoying it" dammit she had me there I didn't realize I was still holding her yet my arms were still tightly around her
"Well 1 Alexis 0 Harry does that make you happy mm?"
"Incredibly happy"
"Know what makes me happy baby girl?" She shook her head "On our next date you gotta wear a mini skirt"
