Weeks went by, Connor and Kate kept in touch ever since that night she helped him out, but sadly Connor's sadness kept getting worse a few days after that night. He decided to pick up his phone, he called Emily first, but there was no answer.
He sighs, "I just want to say goodbye."
He called Jack, he answered.
"Hey Con, what's up?"
"I just wanted to say thank you for helping me out with trying to make me feel better."
"No problem, Connor."
"But I gotta go, I'll talk to you later alright?"
"Alright, hit me up later so we can chill."
"Alright, I will."
"Bye Con."
"See ya, Jack."
Connor cried a little, and then took a deep breath before calling Kate. He tried two more times until she finally answered.
"Hey Condabon, are you alright?"
"Yeah, why?"
"I don't know because you called more than once, you usually just leave a voicemail."
"Oh, oh, right. Yeah, no, I'm fine I just wanted to call and talk to you for a minute."
"Aw well hey."
"Haha, hey."
"I have to go though, so call me later?"
"Of course."
"I love you, Con."
"Love you too, Kate."
Once he hung up he shut his phone off, locked his door and walked over to his desk. He grabbed a pen and a few pieces of paper and turned on some music moments before letting out a sigh. What am I doing, he asked himself, starting to cry.
