Holy... Cow!
I thought as I stared down at the three positive tests as soon as I stepped out of the shower.
Oh my gosh! I'm going to be a mother! And Damien's going to be a father! I am so.... freaking out! I could feel my heart pounding in my chest
I really have to call Mr Lopez!
After drying off in a hurry I slipped on my black silk pajamas and unplugged the phone before setting down on the bed to dial Mr Lopez
"Hello, this is Lopez" he said after the first ring
" Hi, Mr Lopez, this is Lily" I said then hesitated because I never gave it a second thought as to why Felix would say my lawyer was a dangerous man? He has never seemed like that in front of me? If he was dangerous why would my mother and grandfather trust him with everything that had to do with me?
There has to be something I don't know about? But, what could it be? And why was nothing ever said?
" Hello... Lily are you still there?" He asked breaking me out of my thoughts
" Ahh, yeah, Sorry! I'm still here, I just had something on my mind" I say not really sure how I wanted this conversation to start
" Is there something wrong that you need help with? " He asked
" Actually... yes! I was wondering if you could help me get another person out of jail? It's this guy that I've been dating and he got in trouble because of me. I got kidnapped and he helped save me. I also need to talk to you about something but, I'm not sure if it a good idea to ask you about it over the phone." I said waiting to see what he had to say
" What do you mean you got kidnapped? By who? Are you alright?" He asked in a serious tone that makes me wonder why he would be so concerned?
" Yes! I'm fine now, but as I was saying I think it would be better if we talked in person, It's also about something Felix brought up" I say
" I'll tell you what! Let me know the name of this guy that you would like me to help, and I'll see what I can do for him and I will stop by your condo first thing in the morning with an update, and we can talk more over breakfast. How does that sound?" He asks
" Yes, that would be great! his name is Damien Black " I say
" Alright, I'll see what I can find out tonight and we'll talk more in the morning, you sound a bit upset" he said
" I'm OK now, I'm just tired and need some sleep" I say to reassure him
" Okay, you do that and I'll see you in the morning, good night Lily"
" Good night Mr Lopez" I said then hung up
Well! now I need to call Jack
After dialing Jack's number I put the phone back up to my ear
" Hello" I hear Jack say
" Hey, Jack I just called Mr Lopez and he said he'll find out what he can do for Damien and let me know in the morning" I say
" Alright, Lily thanks for calling and letting me know. How are you feeling after everything that's happened? " He asks
I'm not sure at the moment
" I'm okay now, I'm just tired and need some sleep" I say repeating the same thing I said to Mr Lopez so I don't worry him
" Okay, then... Call or come over in the morning, I know you're worried about Damien. He will be OK, he's a strong man" Jack said to try and reassure me
" Yeah, I know that, and since I'll be busy in the morning can you tell Jason and Hanna that they can take tomorrow off if they'd like. But if they wanna work that's fine with me" I say
" Yeah, I can do that " he says
" Alright thanks Jack and I'll let you know something in the morning" I say yawning
" Okay, good night Lily" he said
" Good night" I reply back before hanging up
My last thoughts before going to sleep were of what Damien would think about having a kid.

"Hi, Mr Lopez" I said as soon as Juliet opened the door for him.

After Juliet sat our plates down in front of us and left the room we ate in silence for a few minutes before he spoke
" Before we begin to talk about the young man you want to help and how you were kidnapped. I'd like to know what you wanted to talk about in person" he asked
I'm just gonna say what's on my mind. Because he hasn't given me no reason not to trust him. So far
"Well, when it was brought up that Damien would need a lawyer, I said I'd take care of it and Felix asked me, how by calling Mr Lopez and I said yes. Felix then said you were a dangerous man and I asked him why? He said it wasn't his place to say, that I'd have to ask you" I said looking to his face.
" Ahh, I see where this conversation is confusing you. First thing, you never have to worry about anything from me. I'll always look after you and whatever you need. Second did you ever wonder why your grandfather was rich and had lots of bodyguards like Felix?" Mr Lopez asks
" No, my grandfather and mother never talked about money. Grandfather just said that bodyguards are good to have when you have a lot of money" I said
" Well, your grandfather helped me many years ago when I was young. He saved me and my poor family from a bad deal that was made. In return I would become his loyal attorney and always help Sarah when needed. Anthony and I became great friends and business partners. He was a Mafia man" he said waiting for a reaction
" The mafia!" I said in shock and disbelief
That explains a lot!
" Yes, he retired a little before you were born because he knew he was getting sick and wanted to spend his last year's with Sarah. She never wanted anything to do with the mafia that's how she met Jack because she had left for a short period of time until your grandfather demanded her return and since she didn't want anything to do with the mafia, Sarah had to agree to make me your godfather to keep you safe. That's the real reason your mother had to leave Jack. She didn't want to give Jack problems with Anthony" Mr Lopez said letting me take in all the information.
" So, your in the mafia?" I asked shocked
"Yes and no, I am a very respected mafia attorney for those in the mafia circle. I don't like to run things. But, If I need something done it will get done, no questions asked. As for Felix, he retired as a mafia bodyguard when your grandfather retired" he said
" So, your like a mafia godfather to me?" I asked a bit confused
" I see you more as my grandchild, as much as Anthony did" he said
" And now that you know the truth you can call me godfather or by my first name Valentini" he said
" Okay, I'll do that from now on" I said thinking that I have more family then I thought.
" Now, can you please... start from the beginning as to why you wanted to help Zest Weston then being kidnapped and now want to help Damien Black out of jail!" He asked in a calm voice

So, I told him from the beginning as to how I met Damien, Thomas, and how Beast got shot saving me in Vegas and I wanted to repay him by getting Zest out. As for Damien, I told him I got kidnapped by Viper and his son after the carnival and when Jack, Felix, Beast and Damien came to save me he got left behind so the rest of us could get away
" I must say that's quite a lot for the few months that you've been here" he said "Is there anything else I should know?" He asked
"Yes, there is but... I'd like to talk about Damien's situation first" I say not sure if I wanted tell him I'm pregnant yet
He just raised his eyebrows at me before he started talking again " Well, from the police report. When the police pulled up to the scene they could hear the shooting and saw when Damien got hit. After he was treated for the wound he refused to talk so they arrested him. The police have evidence of bullet holes everywhere, Thomas and Damien's unregistered guns not to mention trespassing. Thomas woke in the night and refused to talk also. Since neither are talking and holding information and were both at the scene of the crime they are being charged and could get up to 5 years in prison. " Mr Lopez- my godfather explained
" 5 years? He can't get that long!" I said panicking standing up as my chair fell backwards
" Calm down Lily!" Mr Lopez tried to say but I wasn't listening and everything was fading as I passed out.
