Today, I am babysitting Brittany, she absolutely loves helping us take care of Blaine as if he's her little brother. She adores him so much. Santana is going to turn up soon to drop her off.
"Hello, my gorgeous boy" I coo at Blaine as he woke up.
"Shall we get you changed?" I coo again as I lay him on the changing table. I change his nappy before putting him into a blue and white Tigger romper, a blue and orange starry dribble bib and some blue and orange stripe socks.
"Oh you're in here" Sebastian comes in.
"Yeah, why?"
"Oh no, just didn't know where you guys were" he says as he kisses me before cooing at Blaine.
"Look at you, handsome" he smiles as he picks Blaine up. We head down and we feed Blaine. The door soon knocks and only Santana arrives.
"Where's Brittany?" I ask.
"Nursery" she says as she had Brittany's bag in her hands.
"Oh yeah, I forgot" I say as I close the door after she came in.
"You look a little worried" she says.
"I am, do you think they'll take Blaine on at one? I mean it will only probably be him that's the youngest of them all, but still"
"Well, why don't you come with me to pick Brittany up later on and we'll go ask her"
"Ok" we play with Blaine for a little while until we had to go pick Brittany up.
"Are we all going?" She asks.
"Urm, no, I need to pop out real quick" Sebastian says.
"Ok, see you in a bit" I kiss him bye and he kisses me back before kissing Blaine and heading out.
"Shall we go in your car?" Santana asks.
"I don't mind"
"I just thought it'd be easier because of his car seat and you've already got a car seat for Brittany in there"
"Ok, we'll go in mine" we get in and head to the Nursery.
"Ready mister?" I coo.
"Can I take him?" Santana asks.
"Sure" I say as I pass him over. We head in and Brittany comes running over. She wore a white shirt that had colourful flowers on it and a short pink dungarees with some pink and white spotty flip flops.
"Bwaine" she cheers.
"Nice to see you too" Santana chuckles.
"Hi mummy" Brittany reaches up to kiss her so Santana bends down a little and kisses Brittany.
"Oh hello" Zoe comes over.
"Hiya" I greet her.
"What's happened here?" She asks. I explain everything and she says that it should be alright to take him on as he'll be the only one that is at that age but he'll still stay in Zoe's class.
"Ok, thank you" I smile at her.
"No problem, bye Brittany"
"Bye bye" we soon leave and I give Blaine a bottle so he could nap before getting in. About half way through the ride, Blaine was laughing and as much as I love hearing his laugh, he needed to nap.
"Britt, sweetie, Blaine needs to nap so leave him be" Santana says.
"Oh" she pouts.
"I know, but we don't want a grumpy Blaine now, do we?" I tell her.
"No, we wan' 'appy bwaine" she says.
"That's right, so if he sleeps now he can be happy later and then play with you"
"Otay" by the time we got home, both kids were asleep. Santana helps me take them in before she had to leave.
"I'll be back soon" she says.
"Ok, no problem" she soon leaves and I tidy up a bit. Soon the kids were awake.
"I'll change Blaine and then I'll get you changed" I tell Brittany as we head into Blaine's nursery.
"Tay" I quickly change Blaine's nappy and then help Brittany with her pull up.
"Right, uncle Sebastian should be home soon, what'd you wanna do?"
"Pway wit bwaine" she says.
"Ok" I take them both into the living room and pull out a few toys, one being a small tower with colourful rings that go in size order.
"Ah" Blaine squeals as he grabs a couple of the toys.
"Bwaine, wook" Brittany plays with the rings and places them on the tower.
"Ah" Blaine crawls over to her and picks one up, putting it in his mouth.
"No bwaine" she whines.
"It's ok, he doesn't know how to play, so you've got to help him" I tell her.
"Tay, bwaine, can me 'ave it pwease?" Brittany asks Blaine as she held her hand out. Blaine looked at her hand and then at the ring before passing it over.
"Atch bwaine" she says as she puts the rings on in the right order. They play for a little while until Sebastian came home.
"Baba" Blaine cheers as he crawled over to Sebastian.
"Hello you" Sebastian coos as he crouches down so he could look at Blaine.
"What are you doing?" He coos before picking him up and kissing his cheek.
"Unca 'bastian" Brittany comes running through.
"Oh, what are you doing here?" He asks playfully but knowing why she is actually here.
"Babe, we have a guest" I hear Sebastian come in with Brittany and Blaine in his arms, both kids laughing.
"Oh, how did you get here?" I look at Brittany, playing along.
"Unca 'urt, I 'een 'ere all der day" Brittany says.
"Oh yeah, I remember" I laugh.
"Right, I'm just gonna go change and I'll be back down" he says as he kisses me and Blaine before putting the kids down. Sebastian heads up whilst I start on dinner and the kids go off and play.
"Bwaine, no" Brittany says. I then hear Blaine start to gag and Brittany comes running toward me.
"Ah, no, bud, thank ya" I see Sebastian come down just in time to pull something out of Blaine's mouth and then pick him up as he started to cry.
"A screw, just what we need" Sebastian sighs as he places it down on the counter and then rubs Blaine's back up and down to try and calm him.
"Were you coming to tell uncle Kurt that Blaine had put something in his mouth?" Sebastian asks Brittany.
"Uh huh" she says.
"Ok, well thank you, sweetie for knowing what to do when you see a baby put something in their mouth that shouldn't be" he praises her.
"Yeah, dey onwy 'ut a dummy or a bottle or a toy thing" she says.
"Yeah, only those things" we chuckle.
"The screw must've fell out or something" I say to Sebastian.
"Must've done, I mean we checked that they were all on and in and everything, so maybe it was loose"
"Probably, well, he's ok now, we'll just have to watch him more closely" I say.
"Yeah, definitely, don't want that to happen again"
"You scared us, bud, stop putting things in your mouth that shouldn't be" Sebastian kisses his cheek.
"Ok, mister, let's go put you down with some toys instead" Sebastian says.
"Brittany, you comin'?" Sebastian asks.
"Uh huh" Sebastian goes of and plays with the kids whilst I finish off with dinner.
"Dinner" I shout through and they all come into the kitchen. Sebastian places Blaine in his highchair while I help Brittany into her attachable seat.
"Ok, careful Britt, it's hot" I tell her as I passed her plate over. She soon watches Sebastian feed Blaine but doesn't eat hers.
"Britt, eat up sweetie" I tell her before putting a forkful into my mouth.
"Noooo" she whines as she threw her head back.
"Why not?" I ask her.
"Wan' 'eed bwaine" she says.
"Well, if you eat your dinner before he does and if you ask nicely, then you can help feed him but you've got to eat yours first" I explain to her as I carry on eating my dinner.
"Nooooo" she starts to cry.
"Ok, you have the count to three to eat your dinner or go to timeout and I don't really want to do the second one" Sebastian warns her.
"One" she doesn't move to pick up her fork.
"Two" he warns.
"Three" he says. He gets up, making Blaine whine and takes Brittany to the step.
"Nooooo" she sobs.
"Five minutes and you can come out" he says.
"Sorry bud" Bas sits back down to feed Blaine. Blaine soon finishes and so do I, Bas then starts to eat his dinner.
"Brittany, you can come out now"
"If you eat your dinner, maybe you can give Blaine his dessert" Sebastian tells her as he helps her back into her chair. She soon eats her dinner and so does Sebastian and the kids were soon off playing again.
"Ah, away from the stairs, you" I hear Sebastian.
"Blaine!" He warns.
"Ah" he squeals.
"You can give me 'ah', away!" Sebastian tries not to smile. I watched on as Sebastian headed toward him and Blaine got down from the step, laughing.
"Yeah, mister, off you go" he chuckles.
"Bwaine, tome 'ere" Brittany calls. Blaine crawls over to her and they start playing whilst Sebastian and I cleaned up the kitchen and got dessert ready.
"Brittany, come here" I call her.
"Uh huh" she says as she came in.
"Want to watch Blaine?" I ask her.
"Eah" she smiles.
"Ok, listen to uncle Sebastian"
"Ready?" Bas asks.
"Uh huh"
"Blaine, dessert" Sebastian calls and Blaine super speeds it into the kitchen.
"Dat 'unny, he go weally 'ast" Brittany giggles.
"Come on you" Sebastian picks him up. Brittany helps out us out with giving Blaine his dessert before she has hers.
"Thank you, Brittany" we praise her. We eat with the kids before they head off to go play again.
"Blaine Devon!" I hear Sebastian warn.
"Ababababa" he babbles.
"Yeah yeah, get down from the stairs" he chuckles.
"How'd you know what he's saying?" I ask.
"I don't, I just go along with it" he chuckles.
"Oh ok"
"Here, go get me a dummy please?" He asks.
"Sure" I grab a dummy and pass it to Sebastian.
"Here you go"
"Thanks"
"Blaine, what's this?" Sebastian coos as he waves the dummy about.
"Ah" he whines.
"Come get it" Blaine gets down from the step and crawls to Sebastian and Sebastian picks him up, throwing him up in the air.
"Stay. Away. From. The. Stairs" Sebastian kisses his cheek in between the words.
"Tome pway" Brittany whines.
"Ok, we're coming" we head to the living room and start to play with the kids.
"Why don't we go outside for a bit?" I suggest.
"Yeah" Brittany cheers. I place Blaine down on the grass whilst Britt goes and gets a ball. I sit down with Blaine whilst Brittany and Sebastian play football.
"Yeah, go Brittany" Bas cheers as they both run around together, cheering.
"I won this time" Sebastian cheers once he scored a goal.
"Noooo" she whines but with a smile.
"Hahahahaha" Sebastian playfully sings and Brittany charges toward him.
"No" Sebastian runs away. They soon play football and when Brittany kicked the ball, none of us expected it to hit Blaine in the face.
"Huh" Brittany gasps.
"Sowwy bwaine"
"Sowwy Unca 'urt an' Unca 'bastian" Brittany comes running over.
"It's ok sweetie, we know it was an accident" Sebastian comforts her.
"Aaaahhhh" Blaine sobs. I turn him around and hold the back of his head whilst my other hand was supporting his bum and I started to rock him a bit.
"Ok, baby, ok" I soothe.
"His lip is bleeding a bit" Sebastian says before going on, probably to get some wipes.
"Sowwy Unca 'urt" Brittany tries not to cry.
"Aww, it's ok sweetie" I say as I held an arm out and she hid her face in my shoulder.
"I know it was an accident, ok?" I kiss her head.
"Oh dear" Bas comes back out.
"Ok bud" Sebastian takes him from me so he could clean his lip whilst I comforted Brittany.
"I think we should start getting ready for bed, yeah?" I say.
"Yeah, let's go" we head back inside and I grab Brittany's things and met Sebastian upstairs.
"Ok kiddos, let's get ready for bed" Sebastian says as we start to strip them and put them in their pyjamas and fresh nappies/pull ups.
"Unca 'urt? I sweep 'ere 'night?" Brittany asks as I help her with her pyjama shirt.
"No honey, mummy will pick you up in a little while, ok?" I tell her.
"Tay" she yawns. Blaine wore a camera theme sleepsuit that had 'big smile' written over it and Brittany wore some pink and green pyjamas that had parrots on it and 'I love my mom' written on it.
"Shall we go out something on the tele downstairs?" Bas asks.
"Sure, don't forget his dummy though" I remind him.
"Oh yes" he says as he picks one up and we head back downstairs. Sebastian places Blaine on the floor and I place Brittany on the floor.
"Urm, I think his pyjamas are a little big" Sebastian chuckles as the feet were being dragged.
"Urm, yeah" I chuckle too as Sebastian headed over there to try and fix it.
"Baba" Blaine smiles.
"Yes, hello you" he kisses Blaine's cheek. We soon settle the kids down with their sippy cups and dummies.
Both kids were soon fast asleep, so I took Blaine up whilst Sebastian sat with Brittany. As I went to put Blaine in his crib, he stirred.
"Shh shh" I whisper as I gently place him in his crib without disturbing him anymore. I quietly leave and head downstairs.
"Santana texted and said she'll be here in 5"
"Ok" I lay Brittany down so she didn't have a sore neck. About five minutes later, Santana turned up.
"Hey, how was she?" Santana asks.
"Yeah, she was great, we had a little incident at dinner time because she wanted to feed Blaine and outside in the garden where she kicked the ball and it Blaine in the face, but she did apologise and cried when it happened" I explain.
"Aww, bless her"
"Thanks for looking after her" she says.
"No problem" Sebastian hands her over and I take Brittany's bag to the car.
"Bye" we say bye before Sebastian and I head in and go to bed ourselves.
