“He’s okay!” I said between heavy breaths, almost running into Maddie as I bounded out of the room I was hidden in. “He’s okay, he’s okay, he’s okay!” I exclaimed, taking her shoulders in my hands and shaking her.

“Calum?” She asked excitedly.

I calmed down, nodding. “Yeah. I just talked to him. He’s coming home.”

“Where was he?” She asked.

“I don’t know, he didn’t say. He just said he’ll be home in like an hour.”

She smiled, nodding. “Well good, I’ll go call Michael and let him know.”

She walked off, leaving me to my swirling thoughts. I was so anxious; I was ready to see Calum. Hopefully we’d be able to forget this rocky past we had and just start fresh. I’m sure he’d agree with that.

-

When I heard an engine rev in the driveway, I peeled the curtains away and peeked outside, seeing Calum’s car pulling into the garage. My heart began racing. I froze. Instead of overwhelming him I sat in the living room and waiting for him to walk inside.

The door opened and I heard his keys jingling. Soon he popped around the corner, a small smile forming on his lips as he kept his thumbs hung in his jean pockets.

“Hi stranger,” I said, standing up from the sofa.

He didn’t say anything in return. He walked to me and pulled me into a hug. My head sat in the crevice on his shoulder, his breath hitting my neck through my hair. We pulled away and he held my face, kissing me softly.

“I love you.” He said as he pulled away from the kiss, his smile growing, our eyes locked.

“I love you too. Present tense.” I replied, a smile forming on my lips. “But we’re not done.” I said, breaking the moment. “Where were you, Calum?”

He laughed, sitting down on the sofa, crossing his legs. “I’m surprised you couldn’t guess. I thought you knew me.”

I shook my head. “No, It’s you who knows I. I don’t know you Calum, and you’ve especially proved that to me in these past few weeks.” I sat adjacent to him.

“I’m sorry about that. I really become a different person when I smoke and drink. It makes me like that when I’m sad, when my life is going downhill.”

I pressed my finger to his lips. “Hush. It’s fine. You’ve already apologized. Just no more running off and no more random hook-ups with girls when we fight.” I glared at him, lightening the mood with a chuckle.

“You’re the only girl I want to hook-up with,” he replied with a devilish smirk. He leaned in, his lips dangerously close to mine.

“Uh uh uh, Calum.” I said, giggling, pushing him away from me. “Talk now, kiss later.”

He pouted, sneaking a small kiss onto my lips. “Fine, fine. So where was I? Is that what you’re inquiring?” He asked, leaning his head onto the back of the sofa, smiling at me.

I leaned my head like his so we were eye-to-eye. “Yes sir.”

“Like I said, I don’t know how you didn’t know where I was. I was obviously at the cave, babe. I thought you’d come looking for me there.”

“Did you want me to come looking for you?” I asked. The cave was the obvious place, I guess I just overthought that.

“No, I didn’t. But I still thought you’d show up.” He shrugged. “Any-who, that doesn’t matter now! I’m home, you’re here, and that’s all that matters. Am I right? I’m right.”

“You’re right, you’re right,” I reassured him. “I’m excited to get back to a ‘normal’ with you.” A smiled formed on my face.

“Me too,” he nodded in response. “Have you told your mom about us yet?”

“How’d you know!” I laughed. “I did actually, and she’s okay with us. I actually never told her about anything that really happened between us. But I told her that Luke and I broke up and I’m assuming she thinks you and I are an item now. So that’s that.”

“Well are we?” He asked suddenly, furrowing his eyebrows.

“Together? Well, I thought we were…” I said softly.

“Then good. We are. I just didn’t think you’d want me after the shitty things I did to you.”

“Cal, don’t beat yourself up. That was the past. We’re better off forgetting that ever happened. Me and you, that’s all that matters.”

“Just me and you,” he repeated back to me, pulling me into his lap. I straddled his torso. Calum was so tall and I was so small, I still had to look up at him slightly. I felt his hands on my hips, gently stroking my skin. “Deal?”

“Oh god!” I groaned, my laughter growing rapidly. “Stop with the cheesy deal stuff.”

“Okay was Hazel and Augustus’ forever. Deal will be ours.” He planted a soft kiss on my lips, his arms wrapping around my body.

“Why are you so cheesy? I hate cheesy boyfriends.” I chuckled, as I pulled away from the short kiss.

“You love cheese, I know that for a fact. Parmesan is your favorite.” He smiled smugly.

“Alright,” I giggled, getting up from my spot in his lap. “That’s it. I’m out.”

“Nope,” he said smoothly as he took my arm is his hand, pulling me back into his lap. I fell back, letting my back fall back onto the cushion of the sofa and Calum swiftly leaned his body over mine. Our noses were touching as he looked down at me. A small smirk appeared on his lips before he pressed them softly on mine. I gasped softly, partially caught off guard, before I kissed him back. His hands were placed on either side of my head as we kissed to a slow, rhythmic pace.

It came so easily that it felt like we had been doing this forever, it just felt so right. Calum and I just felt so right.

I inched my hands up Calum’s back, under his t-shirt, dragging my nails softly against his tan skin. He groaned into the kiss, making it rougher and deeper. I replied to his roughness with an equal increase, our lips fighting each other for dominance. I let Calum win, his tongue sliding into my mouth. I moaned gently into the kiss as I felt his tongue tangle with mine. Our bodies were now pressed together, as he let his weight collapse onto my torso. Even thought Calum is over double my weight, he didn’t feel heavy; it felt right.

I reached my hands up and cupped Calum’s cheeks, tugging away slowly from the kiss.

“No,” Calum muttered as he immediately latched his lips onto my neck as I pulled away. “I’m not stopping.”

“I never asked you to,” I said with a gasp, closing my eyes. I focused on the bliss I felt as Calum’s soft lips suck gently on the skin of my neck. I felt the blood being drawn to the surface and I knew hickeys were being made.

“I love you,” Calum stated as he pressed open mouth kisses in a trail up to my ear. “I loved you then. I love you now. I’ll love you always.”

I nodded slowly in response, not being able to form any words. Calum’s hands were now slid up my shirt. His fingertips were brushing lightly against my hips. He gripped them and curled his fingers around my belt loops, pulling me up as he sat up himself. The kissing ceased and we were now sat face to face, our legs crossed.

“I want to make you mine,” Calum said just above a whisper, his voice full of lust.

“I’m already yours.” I replied. Our eyes stayed locked, both of our faces emotionless.

“You know damn well what I mean, Allison.”

“Do I?” I asked, smirking lightly, teasing him.

“Allison.” He huffed.

“What do you mean, Calum?” I asked again. I could see him getting frustrated. “I need clarification."

“Don’t make me say it.”

“Maybe I want you to say it, Cal.” I chuckled softly.

“Allison.” Calum said again, his eyebrows furrowed.

“Say it.” I whispered, leaning towards him, my elbows on my knees.

“I want to make love to you.”

-

“Are you sure you want to do this?” Calum questioned for the tenth time in the past minute as he pulled my bra off. I blushed as he froze, his eyes shooting to my breasts.

“I’m sure,” I said, taking his face in my hands. “Don’t ask me again.” I stared into his eyes and giggled softly.

“Okay, okay.” He said, pressing his lips firmly on mine, his hands quickly unbuttoning my jeans as my fingers quickly worked to unbutton his.

We finally managed to rid both of our bodies of any clothing. We sat there for a moment, knowing what was next but neither of us took the initiative. Until Calum moved in on me, pushing me back onto the bed swiftly, my back making a soft thud as it hit the mattress.

He hovered over me and took my hands, pinning them above my head as his lips worked on my chest. I moaned softly. I had never felt a sort of bliss like this before and I was excited knowing this was just the beginning.

Time passed slowly and we seemed like we had been kissing forever. Nothing more than kissing. My stomach churned thinking of what was next in store. I was nervous yet excited.

“Wait, fuck.” Calum said as he pulled away from me, leaning over to his nightstand. He pulled out a condom packet and I watched as he fought with the packet, opening it and putting it on. “Okay.”

“Are you ready?” I asked.

“Are you ready?” He replied, looking me in the eyes. “If you don’t want to I tota-“

“I told you I want this. I want you. I just know it’s going to hurt.” I said softly, a pout forming on my lips.

“Yeah, it’ll hurt at first. But then it’ll feel so amazing, baby…” He purred into my ear, his fingers teasing the inside of my thighs.

“God, just do it.” I said frustrated with Calum’s teasing. I needed him and I needed him now.

“Okay angel,” Calum replied softly.

I felt our bodies collide and the pain began. I groaned, closing my eyes tight. I was trying my hardest not to cry. I didn’t know if it was normal for girls to shed some tears during their first time but I really didn’t want to. Calum frowned and kissed my forehead as his body worked in a slow pace.

“I’m sorry,” he whispered. “It’ll be gone soon.”

Calum was right, the discomfort quickly faded and replaced itself with a feeling of euphoria. The only words I could manage to form were “Calum”, “shit” and “fuck” as our sweaty bodies worked together in a steady rhythm. For me, it was my first time. But Calum, he was a pro. I felt a sort of pressure to be good enough to please him but when everything fell into place all of that pressure faded. It didn’t matter how “good” I was; all that mattered was that he and I loved each other and we were proving it.

“I love you,” Calum managed to say between his deep, raspy moans that were directed towards my ear. His face was snug in the crevice of my neck. His warm breath hitting the skin of my neck with his tender lips leaving small kisses when he could.

When Calum noticed I was getting used to the feeling, he sped up. I moaned louder, my head tossing back into the pillows behind me.

“I love you,” he repeated, weaving the words into his deep moans. Calum’s fingers found mine and they laced together. He squeezed my hand tightly, his elbows still being used to prop himself up.

“Calum,” I whined. His and I’s hips worked together as I felt my body begin to tense up. I knew by my tone of voice Calum knew exactly what I meant because he worked his body deeper into mine. His movements were about to send me over my edge.

“Hey, hey, hey…” he whispered softly. “Open your eyes, look at me. I want you to look at me.”

I opened my eyes and looked at him, our eyes locked. I stared at him and he stared at me. For that second, everything around us froze. Nothing else existed, nothing else mattered. It was Cal and I. Sharing this moment of pure bliss and of pleasure, a moment no one else could ever have.

My head tossed back into the pillows again and I arched my back as my moment passed. Calum smirked, kissing my chest neatly, squeezing my hand tightly.

I panted softly, my eyes fluttering open. I looked at Calum; a bright smirk was plastered on his face.

I blushed, bringing our connected hands up to my face to hide myself. Calum released his fingers from mine and I felt him slowly ease out of me, his hot, sweaty torso falling onto mine.

“I love you,” I finally replied, able to form words once again.

“I hope you liked that as much as I did,” he chuckled, looking at me as he traced the outlines of my hip bones gently.

“I think I liked it a second time,” I giggled, biting my lip.

“Enough to do it again?” He asked, his head cocked.

“A second time, maybe even a third.” I replied with a laugh. I held onto Calum and pulled him with me, flipping us over so I was straddling him.

“But this time, I’m in charge."
