I cover my ears using my hands dahil sa ingay. Hindi pa ako nakontento kaya kumuha ako ng unan at tinakpan ang tenga ko. Its Sunday ang tagal kong nakatulog kagabi and I really need some sleep.
Nakalimutan kong e-sara ang pinto kagabi kaya siguro naka pasok si Ze. He's singing so loud. Lumapit pa ito sa tenga ko habang nag rarap. He's singing a Korean song.
"Get out Ze!" naiiritang sabi ko.
"ereona pali!" sinundot niya ang tagiliran ko kaya di ko na natiis at bumangon ako. Sinipa sipa ko pa ang kumot ko sa inis. Batid kong ang gulo gulo ng buhok ko at may muta pa ako but I don't care.
Tiningnan ko siya he's wearing a jersey and jogging pants, naka running shoes din ito. Tiningnan ko ang orasan.It's still 6:00 am.
I glare at him. Ang aga-aga.
"get up. Let's go to sports center." He's smiling. "i'll wait down stares"
I remember what happened last night. Maybe it's a good time to say sorry.
Tumalima din ako. I took a quick shower. Nag suot ako ng sports bra, hoodie ,jogging pants and sneakers.
Pagbaba ko naabutan ko si Zeke with my brother they are sitting at the couch. Zeke is holding a basketball ball. I don't know what they are talking about but I saw my brother is blushing. Nag-angat din naman ng Ulo si Zeke at tinapik ang balikat ng kapatid ko.
"Let's go?" he smiles at me. Nauna na itong lumabas.
"Where's mom dus?"I ask my brother.
"Mmmm. Still sleeping"
"Okay, Pag nagugutom ka tawagin mo lang si manang. Jog muna kami."
"Okay" he said, he is now busy playing with his phone.
Lumabas na ako and saw Zeke's waiting for me beside his car. He opened the door. "Hop in"
I thank him nag seatbelt narin ako para di na maulit yung nangyari before.
"By the way, anong pinag usapan niyo ni Dustin?"
"It's supposed to be a secret Cat." He smiles at me.
Bakit ba lagi itong nakangiti?
"Duh... Maybe you're teaching him bad stuff. Malalagot ka talaga sakin Ze. Pinopollute mo ang utak ng kapatid ko."
Tumawa ito.
Bumaling ako sa labas. Aaaiisshh what's happening to me. >/////< Even his laugh sounds like a melody.
"Well,You're brother is growing up. I just gave him some tips.hehe"
"pffff, whatever. As if you know how to court."
"Ya! I'm offended!"
I laugh "I didn't even saw you with a girl!"
"It's because I don't want to... and I like someone..." he become serious.
"Yeah right..." I smirk. I wonder sino kaya ang nagugustohan nito.
We are on the sports center field. Kunti lang ang tao at hindi rin mainit. Nag unat ako at ilang sandali pa'y sinimulan ko nang mag jog. I saw Zeke is at the basketball court and shooting the ball to the basket. Hinihingal ako after kong maikot ang running track. Inabutan ako ni Zeke ng towel and bottled water.
"We should do this often Cat or we could go to gym para naman di ka tumataba"
"Ya I'm not fat!" I felt a bit tired kaya naisipan kong umupo sa may rubber part ng field kung saan naka pwesto ang bag namin.
I look at my watch. Pumikit ako at dinama ang simoy ng hangin. Buti hindi mainit ng pananhon na yon it's quarter to 7:00 pero hindi pa masyadong sumisikat ang araw.
Batid kong umupo si Zeke sa tabi ko.
"I'm sorry." I told him while closing my eyes.
Minulat ko ang isang mata ko nang wala akong narinig na response and found out that he is staring at me. Kumunot ang noo ko kaya nag iwas siya ng tingin.
He pouts." I want a Kiss" he said while pointing his cheek
Umayos ako ng pagkakaupo. "You wish."
"How about a hug?" ngumiti ito
"Gusto mong batukan kita Zeke?"
"You're not sincere then." he pouted again.
Nag-isip ako ng ibang paraan para mapatawad niya ako. I know something that he likes so much "i will cook Japchae, then?"
umaliwalas ang mukha nito and he give me a big smile "Kol!"

I am looking for a chair at the library when I suddenly notice josh. He is busy typing on his laptop.
"Hi Josh. Good morning." I smile at him at tumabi dito.
Nag angat ito ng tingin. He stare at me for a sec and smile.
"What are you doing here?" I asked
"I'm having some research. You?' Itinaas nito ang eyeglasses.
i smile. " I need to do my assignment here."
tumango tango ito.
"Done!" bumaling ako sa kanya. I notice that he is staring at me. parang may gusto itong sabihin. "Yes?"
Nag bawi ito ng tingin. "Nothing"
nagkibit balikat lang ako. I returned the books na kinuha ko kanina bago ko binalikan ang gamit ko sa tabi ni josh. "Una na ako josh. Still have a class."

I was walking on the hallway patungo sa room ko when he suddenly calls me.
"Catelyn"
Bumaling ako sa kanya "yeah?"
"Are you available later? I mean after your class?"
"mmmp, oo, wala naman akong gagawin mamaya. Why?"
"I just want to tell you something..." yumuko ito.
I smile at him. "okay then"
"Really? Great! Will you meet me at Starbucks then?"
"Okay." actually, I also got curious kung ano ang sasabihin niya.
"okay then, see you later." ani nito. nagpaalam na ito na babalik sa library kasi iniwan nito ang laptop.
After the class. dumertcho agad ako sa starbucks. Madali ko naman siyang nakita dahil nasa labas siya naka upo. Nagpaalam ito saglit at umorder sa luob. Umupo ako sa tapat niya. He gives me a grande of raspberry white chocolate mocha pag balik nito.
we are sitting for almost 5 minutes pero hindi parin ito nagsasalita. Nagalis muna ako ng bara sa lalamunan bago mag salita.
"mmmm so are you going to the party this saturday Josh?" May pa welcome back party kasing nalalaman si Zeke sa Saturday.
uminom muna ito bago nag salita. Bumaling siya sakin . "Yes, of course I need to be there. Zeke's my friend afterall."
"So.... What are you going to say to me?"
humugot ito ng hininga. Then he bites his lower lips. "Well... I wanted to tell you that..." umiwas ito ng tingin "I am the one who keeps on texting you recently Cate." Yumuko ito "I'm sorry"
Natigagal ako sa sinabi niya. medyo naguluhan ako.
"Sorry Cate... Nahihiya kasi ako sayo. "

"During grade school. There was a time na nakitext si Zeke sa akin. I didn't expect that you are still using the same number. I'm sorry..."
I sigh heavily.

yumuko ako. I didn't know how to respond. "You're creepy ya know..."tiningnan ko siya.
"I know I'm sorry... Kaya nga ako nakipag usap sayo ng personal. I'm really sorry Cate."
He seems so sincere.

He put a shy smile on his face. "I believe hindi pa naman ako busted kasi di pa naman ako nanliligaw."
tumawa ako ng kunti. Nag lahad ako ng kamay sa kanya. "Friends?"
He accepted my hand and tumango ito. He smiles. His eyes get chinkier. I just felt that his a good person after all.
We talk for a bit. Hindi din ito boring kausap. He also jokes around. I'm so surprise to see this side of him.Di Kalaunan ay na paalam din ako kay Josh na babalik sa school for my second period.
I was sitting at the right back part of the room na malapit sa bintana. I saw Zeke's coming. Nakakunot ang noo nito. napansin ko rin na naging ash blond ang red na buhok nito at parang kinulot pa kaya naging wavy ang dating nito. He looks dashing. walang emosyon ang mga mata nitong bumaling sa 'kin.
Umupo ito sa tabi ko.
tiningnan ko siya and raise my eyebrow. What's the problem with him?
"San ka nanggaling Catelyn? I was looking for you ealier" He look at me with a cold expression.
Gee I'm not used to this.
"a-aahhmm diyan lang sa mall." >___> I lied. I just don't like telling him na kasama ko si Josh baka iba ang isipin nito.
"Really?" he smirked.Nag iwas ito ng tingin. hindi na niya ako pinansin the whole time.
It felts so weird na ang tahimik niya kaya di narin ako nag salita at hindi siya pinansin. Chezka even asked me kung anong nangyari kay Zeke. Nag kibit balikat lang ako. After the class sinubukan kong kausapin si Zeke.
He's going to his car at the parking lot. I called his name. Lumingon ito but his gaze is still so cold. I can't read him.
"Hey what's wrong with you?" I asked cluelessly nang nakalapit ako sa kanya.
"I'm asking you again Cat. where have you been kanina? or should I ask sino ang kasama mo kanina?"
Natigilan ako. "why are you acting this way Ze?" It's new to her. "Well, okay! I'm with josh. so what's the big deal?!" I shouted.
"So why did you lie to me?!"Tumaas ang boses nito. Humugot ito ng hininga tsakasinuklay nito ang buhok gamit ang kamay.
Natigilan ulit ako. Kumakabog ng malakas ang dibdib ko. I can't breath. tinalikoran ko siya. It's the first time that he shouted at me.
"Its because...." my voice is shaking.
"don't bother explaining Cat. who am I anyway." Narinig kong tumunog yung sasakyan ilang sandali pa'y pinatakbo na niya ito.
i took a deep breath. Why am I feeling this way. Ano ngayon kung magalit siya? Pero bakit ba siya nagagalit? Because I lied? then bakit ayaw niya akong mag explain? I touch my cheek... and notice that i'm already crying. "shit!" i cussed this is insane.
