*Alice's POV*

I could feel the party as Lizzie turned into Alex's street. The pound of music I couldn't hear, vibrated in my ears, and I could almost feel the moist skin from another dancing by my side. I shook my head. If I said anything of this out loud Lizzie would claim I was delusional. And I would believe her.

As we drove nearer to his house I began to hear some music. It was loud, and the house seemed to be exploding with darkness and light.

"This better be worth it." Lizzie groaned, pulling her ponytail a bit tighter.

"It will." I promised. "Let's go."

The front yard of Alex's house was littered in guys wrestling each other in wet grass. Red cups were littered in the ground, and the smell of beer was overwhelming- yet not really that bad.

Eyes turned in my direction, and I saw Austin eye me up, with a whistle.

"You look good." He said.

"You too."

He grabbed me by my arm, and he ushered me inside the house. I called for Lizzie to join us, but she shook her head.

That was my first mistake of the night.

I just shrugged and continued to let Austin guide me inside. He introduced me to some of his football friends who were all extremely drunk and loud.

Austin pulled me away towards the kitchen. "Can I get you a drink?" He asked. He poured himself some mystery punch, and went to get me one as well.

I shook my head. It was to early in the party to start drinking. He shrugged and went to get me a soda. He came back with a red cup filled with Coke. I took it and drained it.

That was my second mistake of the night.

We danced for a little bit, our bodies against each other's, random hands occasionally slapping us against our legs, chest, or face. We laughed. When he went to get me another drink, I didn't ask what kind. Whatever he gave me I drank.

That was my third mistake of the night.

Soon it became hard to stand and the world around me started to become fuzzy. Words that came out of my mouth were inaudible, and it felt like my ears were stuffed with cotton. I told Austin this. He said someone had probably spiked my drink. "Happens all the time." He had said. "No big deal."

I laughed it off even though I was beginning to  feel nauseous. Sick. Something was wrong and I knew it.

I walked away from the crowd of dancers to a lone hallway, desperately trying find a seat.

That was my fourth mistake of the night.

Austin followed me, and told me he knew somewhere where I could lay down I believed him. He showed me to a door, I walked inside. Than I heard the door lock behind me.

Trusting Austin was the fifth mistake of the night. But I can tell you it wasn't the last.
