Lauren's POV

I had taken about fifteen minutes to shower and about five minutes to get some clothes on, which consisted of a pair of ripped blue jeans and a white Thrasher hoodie, along with a pair of hazelnut combat boots Dinah let me borrow. The girls were waiting for me down the end of the hall in the living room and let me know they were also ready, which was the only reason I was in a hurry. I decide not to blow dry my wet hair and keep it in damp locks down my shoulders after slightly drying myself with a lavender colored towel.

I adjust the hood of my hoodie as I walk down the hall and into the living room, where Dinah and Camila argued about what we should do when we get to the Mall. Normani and Ally stayed at the far end of the corner in a small table, practicing some song for Chorus group. My eyes flicker over to Lucy, who leans against the wall leaning against the wall with a toothpick in between in top and bottom teeth and phone in her hand.

"Ready." I call into the room, where all heads turned to look at me from the other side of the large living room. I bite the inside of of my cheek and try not to blush as much as I can, smiling softly when Dinah whistles and claps for me with a small smirk. "Sorry I took long,"

"Worth the wait," Lucy nods at her own statement, offering a kind smile which I gladly return. "You look really pretty."

I notice Camila near the front door and I can tell she's trying her best to make any witty comment, only twirling the key chain with her forefinger. I clear my throat softly and motion for both Ally and Mani to hurry the soft singing and begin following us towards the door.

"Took you long enough," Normani hums, swaying her hips playfully as she walks in front of me. I tilt my head back with a small laugh and slap her back playfully. Lucy follows close behind me and Camila notices, rolling her eyes with an annoyed scoff. I didn't understand why she felt so irritated about my relationship with Lucy, which she knew was pretty close. Everyone knew that she was crushing on me and I wasn't going to push her away because of it.

I think Lucy and I have gotten closer because of it, actually. I grip my cellphone tightly in one hand and walk out of the door where the girl's are heading into Camila's white Camaro. There's a small pause until Camila's done with locking the front door, walking down the end of the pavement before unlocking all car doors.

"Looks like I'm gonna have to carry you," Lucy murmurs loud enough for Dinah and Mani to hear in front of us. I look inside, referring to how there are only five seats for all six of us. I furrow my eyebrows and shake my head with a scoff.

"Are you out of your mind?" I raise an eyebrow, "I'm carrying Ally. Come on Al, sit on my lap."

Ally smiles widely and nods eagerly, stepping into the car after I do. After the shortest girl gets in, Lucy follows in behind her along with Normani and Dinah who decide to sits in the front next to Camila. "Buckle up," The boxer calls out.

There's a small pause of silence as the young boxer starts the car, the faint sound of the engine roaring alive before she shifts the gear into drive. I look down at my phone as soon as the girls begin to chatter, not wanting to be caught up in any of their conversations now that she was listening. I would occasionally nod and smile to their statements so I didn't appear to be rude.

"We're definitely not going shopping," Dinah laughs. "I'll go overboard and waste about three hundred in just twenty minutes. What should we do?"

"Dave and Busters?" Ally almost yells, excitement clear in her soft brown eyes. I laugh quietly to myself and look over at the girls who laugh softly, not including Camila who just rolls her eyes with a small smirk. Dinah turns to look at the smaller girl and rises an eyebrow,

"You wanna play arcade games?" She teases.

"Why not?" I ask, defending the short girl.

"What a loser," Dinah scoffs, and I give her the finger with a smirk.

"How about a movie?" Lucy suggests.

"Which one?"

"I don't care," The girl shrugs, grinning amusedly. "Whichever you want."

"God," Dinah rolls her eyes. "Just fuck already."

"Shut the fuck up," I laugh, noticing the blush on Lucy's face. I can't help but clutch my stomach at the idea, finding the idea both crazy and hilarious. The thought of me and Lucy in that way was kind of weird to think about, considering I had just met the girl and the first time wasn't her best impression. Then again, it was weird the way I felt about her...and not in a bad way. I sigh.

It's complicated.

"You don't even know which way Lauren swings towards best," Normani looks towards Dinah in the front seat, who immediately spins around to witness my reaction. All eyes are on me now and I can even see that Camila has her eyes on me from the rear view mirror. I bite my lip and my cheeks heat up for the tenth time today, leaving the girls with amused expressions.

"I don't like to label myself," I answer truthfully, not wanting to answer that question with any other response. I really didn't mind liking both genders in that way, I just didn't exactly know how to label myself with my condition. I've liked boys since I was a young girl, but because of my condition, I lost hope in ever getting a boyfriend. I also didn't mind dating a girl because deep down I've always like them as well, because I believe attraction doesn't have to be labeled. "I like who I like,"

"Ever liked a girl before?" Normani asks with a wide smile.

"Guys, that's rude to ask like this randomly," Ally scolds.

"It's okay," I answer with a small yet embarrassed smile. "Not yet no, but maybe I will in the near future."

That was a fucking lie.

I've always had my eyes on some girls, considering most were very pretty. But I was partially telling the truth. I never truly liked a girl to the point where my heart would beat very fast, or my limbs begin to shake, or anything sappy like that in some love story. It was just like an appreciation of how pretty a girl was, nothing else. Hell, not even sexual thoughts.

Does that stop me from watching gay shows and movies 24/7? No.

"Damn, I really wanted you to be part of our gay parade." Dinah mumbles with a roll of her eyes. I watch with wide eyes as Normani's head spins to look at Dinah, face now pale and somewhat excited. I can't help but laugh quietly to myself, looking outside the window to see us speeding past every car.

The sky was clear today of any cloud, leaving only the soft leaves of the palm tress we sped by. I lean in towards the window and notice the outline of the driver's jaw, biting my lip softly as her eyes are set onto the road and lip in between her teeth.

I look away quickly when I notice Lucy's eyes from next to me even as I carried Ally. I try to keep the small girl over my knees and half my thighs so she doesn't feel the soft bulge of my member and start asking questions. I try to wear tight boxers and Spandex shorts when I wear Skirts or shorts, but with jeans, you can barely tell there's a bulge because I try to wear over-sized hoodies or long shirts.

"Can we listen to something?" Ally asks with a frown. "This car ride is dead."

"Ally, we just found out Lauren's potentially gay, this car ride is anything but dead." Dinah scoffs.

"I'll see what's on the radio," Camila mumbles, completely disregarding her sisters comment. I swallow hard and try to hide the blush on my cheeks by taking a deep breath. I feel Ally pat my knee gently and I turn to look at her to see she's flashing me a reassuring smile. She wants me to know they're just joking but I can only nod and return the kind gesture.

"Hey, remember when we jammed to this shit every day when it came out last year?" Dinah laughs softly. "I know all of you sang this in the shower, don't lie."

Is we fucking when we leave the club or nah?
I ain't spending cash for nothing I wanna see you take it off
Imma pop this bottle you gon' give me brain or nah?

I roll my eyes but can't help smiling. Ally shifts in my lap and sighs, rolling her eyes with a look of disapproval. I can't help but smile softly when both the dark skinned girl and the blonde Poly begin to sing alone to the inappropriate lyrics. There's a small pause until Camila decides to turn up the volume, taking a small glance at us five before smiling with an amused look over her features.

I glance at Lucy and find that she's trying her hardest not to crack a smile, typing away on her phone like she wanted to block us out. I quickly pull the device out of her hand and urge her to sing alone, slowly singing slowly to the vulgar lyrics. Lucy's eyes widen and I can't help but laugh, noticing how even Ally was tempted to sing with a wide grin.

Do you like the way I flick my tongue or nah? You can ride my face until you drippin cum

I can feel Camila's wide eyes on me front the rear view mirror but I can care less, trying to loosen the girl who looks around with a sheepish smile. I can tell that by the way she's bobbing her head up and down softly, she's holding back the voice that I've been dying to hear.

Dinah nudges her and all eyes turn to look at the smirking boxer, who rolls her eyes with a defeated sigh. I watch with an amused smile as she begins to sing. That smile soon vanishes and my lips involuntarily part open, my eyes softening and my heart stopping for just a split second.

Can you lick the tip then throat the dick or nah? Can you let me stretch that pussy out or nah?

I feel my cheeks turn a deep shade of red when her eyes meet mine smoothly as she sings along to the song, swallowing thickly when she looks away. I try to hold back the shaky breath I'm dying to let go of and decide to keep singing, not trying to raise any suspicion now that Camila's singing, too.

I'm not the type to call you back tomorrow
But the way you wrappin 'round me is a prob Ain't nobody tryna save ya Baby, get that paper Probably got a lot of other bitches owe you favors

I bounce my lap with Ally over it and the small girl laughs as she sings, watching Dinah's who's pretending her phones a mic as she sings loudly. There was no lie about it, Dinah was a better singer than any of us. I watch with wide eyes and point as we all watch the blonde get lost in the song, not even noticing she was singing with no problem. I clap with a laugh and notice now that she's turning a deep shade of red, flicking me off with a finger.

The rest of the girls are too busy too notice as well, smoothly singing as Camila turns up the volume to her car radio. I turn to look at Lucy who's silently holding her phone up with a smile, most probably recording us or videotaping the car ride for some other snapchat video.

I feel Ally lean in to me and her hands are up high, sending me a bright smile before letting the vulgar lyrics spill out of her lips. I encourage her with a small nod, wrapping my arms around the small girl.

Pussy so good, I had to save that shit for later
Took her to the kitchen, fucked her right there on the table
She repping Xo to the death I'm tryna make these bitches sweat, I'm tryna keep that pussy wet I'm tryna fuck her and her friends

People from the cars next to us and even in front of us turn to look at the booming car, trembling with the altered speakers. I could care less as a few girls next to us glare at me with distaste. I notice that Camila has also found that these girls aren't too happy and she happily rolls down the window to each side of the car, hell even the back window and she urges to dig louder by turning the radio impossibly louder. Our voices are still much higher and Camila drives away with a small laugh.

You gonna run it for these hundreds girl or nah? Show me is you really 'bout your money girl or nah? Don't play with a boss, Girl take it off Take it for a real one You gonna get it all Is you really 'bout the money or nah? Can you really take dick or nah? Can I bring another bitch or nah? Is you with this shits or nah? Oh Nahh, Oh Nahh

I feel Lucy tap my shoulder and she yells over the music, "All of you! Do that again! Or Nahh!" The brunette girl mimics.

I tilt my head in confusion and the girl only urges me with her index finger as she holds her phone back up again. I can only shrug with a confused smile and await for the certain chorus, tapping my fingers against the leather seat of the car. The car is moving at an incredible speed and with all of our moving around, from the outside, it must look like we're all having sex. I laugh at the thought.

Would you ride for a n*gga or nah? Would you die for a n*gga or nah? Would you lie to a n*gga or nah?
Oh Nahh Can you really take dick or nah? Can I bring another bitch or nah? Is you with this shits or nah? Oh Nahh
Oh Nahh Would you ride for a n*gga or nah? Would you die for a n*gga or nah? Would you lie to a N*gga or nah?
Oh Nahh

I glance at Lucy and she holds up a thumbs up, locking her phone with a satisfied grin. I crinkle my nose. She's up to something.

Girl make that ass clap for young dolla $ign
You already know my money go a long time I could slide for it,
like Nelly I'm a go as far as you let me Girl is you sucking me or fucking me or nah?
Can I bring another bitch let's have a threesome Keep saying you a freak you gon' prove it or nah?

His bitch keep looking at me she choosin' or nah? You a ride or die chick you with this shit or nah? Say you not a side bitch, you all in or nah? You gon' make them eggs cheesy
With them grits or nah? Can you do it like that, on this dick or nah?

I watch with delight as the car finally begins to slow down, entering the parking lot to the large mall which reads at the entrance with bold letters and azure color: Dolphin Mall

I quickly try to sit up and I groan softly when Ally bounces on my lap, feeling the pain jolt through my legs, fully asleep and numb. "Ally, I can't feel my legs."

"Sorry," The smaller girl laughs.

The ride is soon quiet when Camila drives through every lot, each filled out and not a single one available for our car. It doesn't take more than ten minutes when Dinah yells out that she's found a spot and Camila switches lanes right away, not caring who decided to drive by. I grip onto my seat and try to grip onto Ally carefully when we speed into the tight space, in between a small Camry and a large pickup truck.

Once the car is off, Ally climbs off my lap and hops out of the car to my left where Camila stood, holding the door open for us. I get up and run a hand through my messy hair, still wet from my shower I had taken half an hour ago. I offer an appreciative nod and don't bother to look at her after that, hearing the car door shut behind me.

Lucy trails behind Normani and I link arms with the dark skinned girl and laugh softly when she leans in to kiss my cheek. I pretend to gag and she slaps my bum with a frown and I yelp. "Are you disgusted by your own girlfriend?"

I raise an eyebrow and find that she's indeed kidding when I look into her amused eyes, playing along with a scoff. "Of course not, baby. You know I love you."

The dark skinned girl laughs and pulls away, shoving me with a grin. I turn to my left and Lucy's arms are crossed over her chest with a small pout, brows furrowed accusingly at our playful PDA. I roll my eyes and grab her hand in mine, pointing out with a small grin when all eyes turn to us. "If you're so jealous, why don't you just ask me out on a date?"

"It's happening." Normani squeals, gripping Dinah's arm with a smile. I watch and Dinah looks down at the gesture with furrowed brows before giving me a goofy grin and wiggling her eyebrows. I turn back to the shocked brunette and her cheeks heat up quickly, turning into a stuttering mess when I raise a brow.

"W-what?" Lucy breathes out.

"You're a natural," Camila scoffs, looking quite irritated. The boxer sped right past us next to Ally who happily skipped to the entrance. I give Lucy's hand a reassuring squeeze and playfully bump my shoulders my hers as we walk besides the other two obvious, soon to be couple.

There isn't much to do as we walk through the doors of the mall, immediately being greeted by the loud teenagers and chattering of the adults, along with the mouthwatering scent of the Latin Cafeteria by the entrance. "Shit, now I want Croquetas."

"We just got here," Dinah mumbles, also looking like she was hungry herself. "But shit, you're right. I'd die for an empanada, though."

No matter how many times you go to Dolphin Mall, there's not way you'll ever get tired of the food and cafeterias there. I force myself to look away from the gauntlet of food and follow closely behind Dinah and Normani, who were following Camila and Ally too.

I turn to my side and find that Lucy is already staring back at me, mumbling. "Where should we go first?"

"Ally wants to go to Dave & Busters?" I remind her with a small smile, glancing at the smaller girl who turns around with a grin at the sound of the Arcade restaurant. All of us share glances in between the crowds of people chatting and laughing around us.

Once we're all in a small circle, leaning against the salmon colored wall. All six of us are thoughtfully glancing at each other for any better options but the choice already given to us by the short blonde is enough. I shrug when I'm asked where I want to go, simply stating anywhere is fine.

"Okay, let's just chill at D&B's." Normani nods, grabbing Ally's hand with an amused grin. That's all it takes for the rest of us to continue walking down the booths and stores all around us, soon passing an ice cream parlor before taking the escalator up to the second floor.

I hadn't been here in a long while. I didn't enjoy coming alone, and the last time I did come, Vanessa and I were shopping for dresses for some church ceremony. I shake my head with an amused smirk at the thought and look up to see a huge crowd of teenagers swarming around the ticket booth for the theaters.

I wasn't surprised with the amount of kids up here, considering the upstairs area included Dave&Busters, a movie theater, a bowling alley, a laser tag studio, and some other birthday celebrations on the far end everyday. I loved coming up here as a kid with friends, when I actually had a lot of them. Although most were fake and childish.

"It isn't too bright to day dream while on an escalator," Camila calls behind her and my eyes instantly meet hers. I almost fire back a witty insult, wondering why she was so concerned about me but I decided to leave it a that. I sigh and nod, stepping off the moving stairs beofe straightening out my blue jeans.

"She's joking." Lucy whispers besides me, frowning at the scowl on my face. I nod softly with a convincing smile, knowing it was just to brighten up the awkward mood but it was hard to take her in any silly manner.

"I know," I mutter back. "I'm just thinking, that's all."

"Should I be worried?" Lucy jokes with a small smile. I offer a grin and shake my head, playing with the sleeve of my hoodie. Those confused brown eyes look worried and she places a hand over my lower back with a frown. "You don't look as excited as I thought you would be."

"I'm sorry," I murmur. "This is just weird. I never thought I'd be hanging out with, you know--"

"Just pretend she's not here." Lucy shrugs, glancing at Camila who looked deep in conversation with Ally. Her plump lips hold a hint of a smile and her hands move with each word, expressing herself through motioning around her. I shake my head when I turn to find Lucy catching me in a daze stare.

"I can't."

It was just a strange feeling inside me. As much as I tried to forget the girl, it was nearly impossible. I truly wanted to be friends with her and talk to her like the rest of the girls did but I just couldn't. My throat dries up, my palms begin to tremble, my heart beats quickly. It's like I'm truly scared of this girl.

"Just try not to worry so much," Lucy suggests, rubbing my arm softly. "Try to remember that this is our night out, chilling with the girls. Having fun. Don't worry about Camila or anyone else but you, just chill."

"Yeah," I nod. "You're right."

Don't worry about Camila or anyone else but you.

Okay, I can do that. Right?

***

Fifteen minutes into the dark arcade, we were seated in a small booth right by the bar only a few feet away. A young red head welcomed us, took our order and left with a smile, informing us that our food would be ready in less than twenty minutes. I was grateful that my father lent me his credit card for food, otherwise Camila would have had to do us another favor in paying with her own cash.

The boxer had payed for Dinah's card and Ally's card while I insisted in buying Normani's and Lucy's but both girls promised they didn't want to play any games for now. But before any of us could actually get to playing any of the games, we were currently waiting for the food.

I had taken a seat on the far end of the small booth and lucky me, I had been seated next to Lucy but unluckily in front of Camila who sat next to Ally and Dinah. I casually whispered and begged Mani to switch places but she gave me one of those looks that gave away how much she wanted to sit in front of Dinah.

It's awkward as it is, and the booth gets quiet every few minutes once there's nothing else to talk about. Camila has completely tuned us out and is now playing some weird game on her phone, lip in between her lips in anger after losing more than a dozen times. I sigh softly and take a sip of my Sprite, swallowing harshly before clearing my throat.

Probably thinking I'm addressing her, Camila's eyes meet mine and she places her phone down with a small frown. I swallow hard and my green eyes can't seem to look away from her curious brown ones. I can't help but visibly let out a shaky breath. The girl lets out an amused chuckle and grins before playing her stupid game again.

"So where should Lucy ask Lauren out?" Normani points out before taking a quick sip from her lemonade. I sigh out loud and my cheeks burn, a small smile playing at my lips. There was no way these girls were letting this subject go. "Should we go to the movies? That's a good place, right?"

"Yeah!" Ally agreed right away. "That's romantic. I'll pay for our entrances, we should definitely watch a movie."

"That's cool," Lucy agrees, flashing a bright smile. My eyes flicker over to her lips and the smile only elicits a warm feeling inside my cheeks, blood rushing to my cheeks when all eyes are set on me now. I shrug and look down at my drink, holding the straw in between my thumb and forefinger. This was an awkward topic to talk about.

They found it funny because it seemed like Lucy liked me and I could only ignore her. It wasn't like that at all. I truly like Lucy, and maybe I have had a crush on her ever since she came to my place with those stupid chocolates and bubble gum packets. I had felt understood that day and I felt so at peace when I was with the young brunette, like she truly listened and cared for me. Not to mention how beautiful she is inside and out, it's just weird for me to admit it. She's the first girl I've actually had a crush on in that way.

It's so complicated.

"You can't force someone to date," Camila places her phone down, seeming interested in this topic more than anything else we've said all night. "If a relationship is forced or pushed, it won't end well. If it doesn't end well, there's a friendship lost."

I feel her eyes on me from across the booth and I swallow hard, turning away before ignoring the unnecessary comment Camila made. Lucy doesn't seem to ignore it though,

"No one is forcing anything."

"I'm sure," Camila grins before rolling her eyes.

"Are you jealous or something?"

My heart sinks.

Camila looks up and scoffs, "You have nothing I want, Lucy."

The whole table goes silent and my gut churns with pain, my eyes never leaving the Sprite on the table. Lucy can only glare at the boxer who's already looking down at her phone again with a small smirk on her face. I pat Lucy's knee under the table and take a small glance at her, trying my best to keep from her quite instead of blurting something out and ruining our night.

"Okay ladies!" The waitress returns with two hands filled with plates. I thank the heavens.

"Yum," Ally smiles, glancing around in need to lighten up the tense mood.

"Here are your hot and sweet barbecued buffalo wings with a small salad and a side of blue ranch." The girl smiles at Normani before offering the dark skinned girl's plate. Normani bums and thanks the woman before licking her lips, and digging in right away.

I laugh softly and accept my plate from the waitress which consisted of a small meal, a side of French fries and a bacon, cheeseburger. I take a sip of my sprite to refresh my dry mouth and begin digging into my plate as everyone else got theirs. There were no words shared as we ate, just the sound of the silverware against the glass plates. I glance at Dinah for a second and she glances at Camila with small frown before mouthing a small 'sorry'.

I wave it off with a small smile and look down my plate again before popping a fry into my mouth. I wasn't surprised Camila was acting like this, she had these strange mood swings when it came to me. One moment she has me thinking she genuinely wants to be friendly with me and the next, she's the meanest person I know.

It's annoying.

"How's your meal?" I turn to look at Lucy and she's smiling softly. I give her a small grin and nod, intending to give her a simple response. The food was fine, I loved coming here. But it was no longer as fun as it sounded an hour ago, when Camila ruined it for us.

"It's good."

She gives me another nod and I pop a fry into my mouth, chewing softly with a small hum when the salted fry is down my throat. I love fries.

I take a small glance around the table and realize everyone's too hungry to mutter a single word, only enough energy to eat the food on their plates.

I take a small peak at the brunette in the corner who takes a small bite of her Hawaiian pizza, humming to herself as she texts away. She hadn't placed her phone down for the past hour and every few seconds she would sigh and text back to whoever texted her. Whoever it was, she was definitely not a fan. I decide not to stare, fearing she'd look up and catch me watching her.

"Excuse me," Lucy stands abruptly, glancing at Camila for a split second and I furrow my eyebrows. Camila notices the strange gaze and raises an eyebrows as Lucy announces, "I need to wee."

Everyone else merely notices when she leaves and I watch as Camila places her phone with a frown, before her eyes flicker towards me. I quickly advert my eyes and take a sip from my Sprite, my eyes trailing behind Lucy who merely gives me a glance. I frown.

"Excuse me, too." Camila murmurs without even trying to hide the fact that she was after Lucy. The boxer jumps out of the booth and jogs towards the direction Lucy had walked into. I drop my fry and fold my hands under my chin, sighing softly when I'm the only one to notice how suspicious and weird that was.

I decide to calmly finish my meal and keep quiet, rolling a fry around in small circles with the tip of my fork. I swallow the rest of my cheeseburger and look down at my plate to see a few ketchup stains and the remaining of my fries, which I decide to keep untouched. I awkwardly push my plate an inch away from me, signaling the end of my meal.

Dinah had finished her pizza and was nibbling on a nacho, smothered in melted cheese. The blonde Poly was focused intently on the game playing right behind me on a large, flatscreen T.V. I turn to give a small glance at the screen and hum softly.

Miami Heat's playing tonight.

Normani is chatting with Ally who's also finished her meal but seems to enjoy chewing on the cold ice in her empty cup, crunching away with an adorable grin. I sigh softly and take a small peak at the cellphone in between my thighs, flashing a notification from an hour ago on Snapchat. I frown when the names pops up.

Lucy 🙄💖

I take a small glance at Ally besides me and clear my throat, patting the small girl's lap gently. The blonde turns to me and she raises an eyebrow, offering a lopsided smile as I whisper. "I gotta pee."

"Okay." The girl smiles softly before moving aside and hopping off the booth. I give her an appreciative nod and slide off before making my way into the direction both girls sped towards. I push in between a few kids running around the place and scoff as a pair of old, douchbags unsubtly stare me down. Gross.

I frown softly and glance at my phone for any texts from Lucy but there's none. The thoughts of those two girls fighting somewhere around this place just unsettled me and I wanted nothing more than to get near at least one of them. I needed to make sure there was nothing weird going on between them.

I let out an exasperated sigh and run a hand through my hair, biting my lip softly before deciding to make my way towards the bathroom. There's was a high chance of one of them being in there and even if I ended up in an enclosed space with the boxer who hated my guts, it was worth a shot.

I walk towards the entrance of the girl's bathroom and almost trip over when I hear a familiar voice only a few feet away from me. I grip onto the stones wall and quickly duck behind a claw machine, pretending to play on the large contraption. I take a small glance behind the machine and it's easy for me to see the small group through the glass. They stand on the other side of the machine and with one glance, I know they can see me. But I choose to stay as quiet as I can.

"Are you following me around or some shit?" I hear Camila's voice first and I can see how annoyed she looks as she stares at her boyfriend. I furrow my eyebrows. Brad, was it?

"You told me you were at home." The taller boy growls and I can see some of his friends snickering behind him like children, including a few girls that I've seen Camila hang around school.

"Again, you're following me, Bradford?" Camila raises an eyebrow and the older boy sighs before flashing his phone in her face. It takes Camila a few seconds to process what's on the screen and I see her throat flex visibly. Bradford, yeah that was his name.

"You're such a two face, I can't believe you." Brad shakes his head and scowls.

"Are you seriously fucking with me?" Camila almost laughs out loud and I can't help but want to know badly what's on that screen. "You couldn't have possibly driven twenty minutes just to confront me about driving my sister and her friends to the mall."

"Friends?"

"Stop it, Brad." Camila sighs, crossing her arms in front of her chest. I gulp softly and turn to look at the infuriated boy in front of her, wondering why he was this angered about the situation. "They were bored--"

"I don't care!" The boy yells at her. I gasp softly.

Camila doesn't flinch a single bit and takes a step closer, growling and informing him just as loud as him. "Don't you dare fucking yell at me, asshole. I can dump you any fucking day I want to, I'm not one of your damn whores!"

I swallow hard. Dear God, I'm confused.

"You wouldn't, not when I have what everyone else wants to see." He holds up the phone again, this time with heated cheeks once the laughing dies down between his friends. Camila merely laughs and shakes her head with an annoyed scowl.

"When I agreed to date you, it was out of pure pity. Remember that." Camila mutters, loud enough for anyone to hear around us. The boy's cheeks heat up quickly and I can see the way he wants to spit something out but can't.

"Half the school has seen this video of you girls." A boy announces from the small group behind them. He steps up and flashes his phone as well and I can faintly see a snapchat video, lightly dimmed. I curse under my breathe.

Was that video really us?

"You can't pretend to hate this girl just to gain popularity." Brad raises an eyebrow.

"I'm not pretending to hate her, you don't know shit about what happened between me and her." Camila breathes out.

"Then why are you hanging out with her all of a sudden? Why are you buddies somehow after you beat the shit out of her two and a half weeks ago?"

Camila breathes out a response, "That's none of your concern."

"Hmm, really?" Some girl smirks behind Brad, wrapping an arm around his waist with her lip in between her thin lip. "Lauren's a pretty girl, hot, sexy even. I'd tap that if you didn't keep tabs on her every day."

Camila's eyes darken, "I don't have tabs on her, I hate her. Why would you even imply that?"

"Imply what?" The slutty chick bites her lips. "That you're dying to get your way with her? Is that why you love seeing her suffer so much? Because you can't have her?"

"Shut up!" Camila growls, slapping the girl hard across the face. I have to bite my lip to keep from gasping out loud, the slap so loud a few people turn around and point. The shocked girl stumbles backwards and her eyes widen, holding her cheek with a trembling hand. The red head quickly walks back towards one of her friends and they all begin to walk away.

"Either you leave, or I'll personally kick your ass tomorrow morning. One by one." Camila is fuming. I swallow hard and Brad is the only one who stands in front of her now as she threatens the rest of them. Brad runs a hand through his hair and he glares at her.

"This is a bad image, Camila. You can't keep beating her ass one day then kissing her ass the next. Lauren's mother died, that doesn't mean you stop making her life miserable. It feeds the school, Cabello. Your life will become hell when they find out you're now buddies with her. And you can't kick everyone's ass forever, remember that. Think about it, I'll see you tomorrow...girlfriend."

With that, the curly haired boy leaves with a small smirk as she strides towards the other side of the arcade room. I swallow hard and feel my eyes water at the mention of my mother, feeling my chest ache and the lump in my throat grow when the words slip past his lips. That weird feeling that hurt so much was now confusing me again. Why did this surprise me so much?

I watch with tears eyes as Camila stands there, eyes glued to the direction the boy walked into and her throat flexes. The brunette let's out a small sigh and she runs a hand through her hair before nodding to herself. The darkened look in her eye told me that Brad had done enough convincing, the way she looked down at her phone with a scowl before walking away angrily.

I look down at my hands and lean my forehead against the glass of the machine, feeling the tears sting my eyes and my throat ache. My fists clench to my sides and I feel the anger build up inside me at the thought of those cruel kids laughing after my mother's death.

I couldn't stand the thought.

My eyes begin to sting with tears and I whimper quietly, wondering how I could be such an idiot. Did I really think she wanted to be my friend? How stupid was I?

She wanted nothing more than to make my life miserable. And she was definitely succeeding.

A/N

The latest fucking update ever. I'm honestly such a lame.

Okay, so is there process between these two or no? Because Camila definitely seems more confused than Lauren. What do you guys think? Is Camila slowly starting to forgive Lauren, is she maybe even developing some type of love/hate relationship? Is Lauren beginning to lose her mind by even considering her feelings towards Camila? Is Dinah that fucking oblivious to Normani liking her?

Let me know.

Next chapter may or may not include Laucy fluff but, I'm not sure yet. You guys are so butt hurt over them dating but honestly, you guys will eventually forgive me when you see why I did it.

Of course, if you enjoyed reading today's update, please give it a vote and comment any thoughts. Thank you so much for more than a thousand followers, I'm glad I can say that many of those people have read my stories since day one. I'm so grateful for all of you. I love you all.

Much love, be safe wherever you are.
