Percy's POV
A few years have pass since Percy learnt of his identity of being a demigod and being claimed as a son of Poseidon .
Currently his been dancing with girl after girl in Westover hall. Percy , Annabeth and Thalia have met up with Grover to bring two powerful demigod siblings to camp .
At first they were about to get caught as a resident teacher and the vice principal told them they haven't met before but lucky for them Thalia manage to manipulate the mist.
Where's that sneaky principal bringing them ? I tried looking for my friends but I couldn't .
" please excuse me " I smiled while touching the back of my head for some reason it works and people start getting red the weather is really messed up , dam you weather .
Well this isn't part of the plan . Thorn was getting them . Well expect the unexpected.
While sneaking towards them thorn suddenly roared ," come out pesky demigod ! " girl showering thorns .
He manage to dodge most while one grazed his his shoulder . Something popped up in his head
" Perseus ! Wake up ! You need to know all this what if you encounter one ? " Athena said
" I'll simply get some water to draw the poison out from the horn " I said while going back to sleep
It's probably a illusion i mean the first time I met her was on my first quest right ?
Where's the dam water source when you need one .
" Well i see you again ! " he laughed
I gave him puzzled
" Oh you don't remember, pesky gods ! " he laughed again
" well if you live , tell them the great stirring is happening " .
Thorn grabbed Percy the two siblings and continue walking to god knows where .
Percy tried to send a message to Grover which succeeded.
" you think demigods and a satyr can stop me ! " he roared again turning into his true form , a manticore.
Percy think ! What happened in that dream or some shit like that .
Suddenly silver arrows appeared and flew pass Percy Into the manticore . Thorn retaliated by sending his own arrows of thorns . More arrows flew by and cut the thorns to half .
I stared at them in awe
She really taught them well . Wait who ?
Girls dressed in silver from all ages appeared
" Oh great here comes the hunters of Artemis ! " she rolled her eyes .
They were about to shoot when Thorn who was surprising quiet grabbed Percy and Thalia knowing they were stunned and weak.
Annabeth , who was wearing her yankee cap, quickly took out her her knife and lunged at thorn . He screamed in pain while letting go of Percy and Thalia . The girls showered him a volley of arrows and he fell into the cliff with Annabeth on his back as she threw the cap towards them .
" Annabeth ! " Percy's group of friends screamed .
Not known to them Artemis was watching from a distance , her heart ached when she heard the pain in his voice , it showed how much he cared for that girl . She wanted to run to him and hug but with all those years of building up her walls it crumbled down with just hearing his voice .
" Milady! " one of the girls announced , probably the lieutenant said . She looked really familiar though . I could feel her staring st me when we first met
A name popped up in my head
Artemis
" Girls set up the camp here for now , two extra tents for - " she was talking to the girls when she was about to say tents for us she stopped and made eye contact with me .
" Percy " she muttered while tearing up , it so soft that I nearly missed it . But her face harden realizing something
How did she know my name for all I know she wasn't there when I went to Olympus well there was also a missing chair but even annabeth didn't know who it was it was dead god was reforming she said
" the tents for the demigods and you boy come with me . Atlanta Fixed the demigods up ! " she said walking towards her tent .
Wait me ?
I scrambled up and quickly walked towards her .
" Now tell me what happened exactly " she stared
" hold up your still Wounded , I'll patch you up and you start talking . " Artemis said her captivating eyes capturing mine .
Her fingers pulling the shirt down to inspect the wound . She took some medicine and spread it around the wound her fingertips lightly touching my shoulder . Tingles sparked . She took some bandages wrapping it up .
" here take some nectar and ambrosia . " she said placing some on my hands her fingers slightly brushed from mine , there it was again sparks she really is a Daughter of Zeus . My
eyes still captivated by her beauty . There was something I was missing I couldn't think of what it was
" drink some water it'll help with the healing . " she stated
" milady if I may ask how did you know ? " I asked .
She was quiet for awhile
" it was a gut feeling . The aura you have was Calming like the sea . " she muttered quietly staring at the feet .
I stared around her tent , a picture was hung at the back . A group of girls and herself with a guy beside Artemis . For some reason he seemed familiar . Probably her Brother or something I shrugged it off .
" Percy I mean Perseus , you haven't told me what happened " she said softly
I didn't mind that she called me Perseus it seems natural for her but for other people not so much
" Oh right sorry about that " I blushed hopefully she didn't notice that . I didn't mean too though .
I told her what happen when it went to the part with Annabeth . She told me to stop , pain could be seen in her eyes but it changed before I could confirm it I wonder why
" you seem to really care about her , is she someone important to you ? " she said
" yes she was I mean she's a great friend to have but I think we'll stay as friends . " i raised my eyebrows slightly .
" off you go and please tell the satyr and the other boy to not flirt with my girls thank you " her eyes hardening and piercing through me .
I found it beautiful still . Hopefully she hasn't look into my thought or I'll be a dead Fish or a stag hmm but it's better than a guinea pig I shuddered .
Artemis giggled ," well run off before I do turn you into a stag . " she said seriously
For reason I knew she was faking and I said ," see yeah Arty ! " without registering it in my mind it came out naturally I Guess
Artemis POV
"Zoë you're in charge while I'm gone , I'll have Apollo bring you to camp as the sun the rises . " I said gathering my things
" Yes milady, where are you off to ? " Zoe asked
" I'm hunting a Monster " I said
" Milady as a Friend are you ok ? " she said softly her eyes concerned
I signed
" Zoe what can I do ? He doesn't remember anything I think and just hearing his voice broke all the walls I tried building when he died " I muttered my eyes slowly tearing up
" Milady the fates have the craziest ways for you to meet and for him to remember everything. It take time you just have to wait longer . " she smiled
" What if he falls for her ? I know it's my fault this happened but Zoe i think I still love him even with my oath "
Zoe came and hugged me
" time will tell Milady if only you knew what he tells us " she said walking off
