(Delirious POV)
Once Vanoss hung up the phone call I glanced over Cartoonz. We were waiting in line for the airplane.
Finally our fight is over. I've never thought that life without Vanoss would be so empty. Not hearing his voice.
"Are you excited?" I asked Luke, when we finally took our seats. He smiled.
"Hell yeah I'm. Shame you're not gonna be there with us." I sighed.
"Don't your worry. I'll be there... somewhere in the big group of fans."
"Mini just wrote that he's already there. He will be waiting at the airport." I nod my head and smiled.
We landed in Seattle and I took a deep breath.
"So are you sure, you don't want to meet them?" he asked me one more time and I nod.
"I'm sure. I'll meet you somewhere at the building or hotel. I'll text you." He hugged me and went out.
I let a few people passed me and then I went out as well. Once I was out I saw them. Most of my friends. Marcel and Simone, Craig, Tyler, Brock and Cartoonz. They were speaking with excitement in their voices. I felt a bit down that I couldn't join them. I stopped near them blending in while waiting for my suitcase so I could hear them.
"So Delirious isn't coming? Have you talked about it with him?" Tyler asked and Cartoonz sighed.
"Trust me. I have tried many times. Where are the others?" Luke glanced over me and I slowly nod my head with smile. Joining the big group of people from plane I went to find my hotel.
On my way to hotel I got a text from Vanoss.
V: Just landed, everybody here misses you. What are your doing?
D: Ordered a pizza a while ago and now preparing to record Hitman. Say hello to everybody.
V: Will do. I'll text once I get to hotel.
D: looking forward to it.
After I made it to hotel, I texted Cartoonz.
D: I'm already at hotel. You on your way?
C: Nah. Still waiting for Lui.
D: Ok. I'm gonna go sleep to be ready for tomorrow. We will meet somewhere at PAX.
C: Sure thing. Our panel is at 1 pm, so don't miss it! Good night.
D: I would never. Night.
The next day I was over excited. I woke up and went straight to the big building while checking my phone. There were so many messages from my friends. I responded to all of them a spent morning playing video games and listening other Youtubers.
Around 1 pm I went to panel of my friends. Finally I saw Vanoss. He looked amazing. His smile made me smile too and I sat down without moving my eyes from him. My thoughts went to my dreams, which I had with him.
After the panel they decided to do signing and talk with fans. I couldn't walk away. I had to go meet them.
But how? If I talk, they'll know me. What if... I could do I'm voiceless. That's great! I just need paper and pen.
I stood in the queue and waited. My heart was beating so fast. I didn't have to fake my excitement.
First I came across was Nogla.
"Hello," he greeted me. I pulled up my paper and wrote down: Hey! It's so great to meet you. Thank you for everything, you've done for us. I love your work! I handed him it and he giggled.
"Oh man... you don't have to thank me. I should thank you." I smiled and wrote down: Can I take a photo with you? He nodded his head.
I took my phone and quickly took a photo, before other notification would pop up and he would know I'm Delirious. I shook his hand and move to Lui.
"Hey there, buddy," he said in his squeaker voice. I started to write again. Hello! It's so awesome to meet you. I showed him that paper and he laughed.
"Trust me. I'm more happy that I could meet you."
I moved to Cartoonz. He grinned at me and I tried so hard not to laugh.
"Hey. That Delirious guy is a bitch, right?" he asked me loudly and some people turned to us. I wrote : You motherfucker! Delirious is the best guy on the planet. I handed him my note and he started to laugh. At that moment it all started.
"Delirious is one of the best Youtubers!"
"He is not a bitch."
"Yeah."
"Let him be!"
"He has over 7 million subs, asshole."
I felt sorry for Luke, who had been attacked by many fans in the line, and at the same I was happy that they protected me.
"It was a joke, guys. Calm down." I smirked after his sentences and move closer to him.
"Im sorry but never underestimate Delirious army," I whispered and giggled silently. I pulled away from him with smile on my face.
"If you say so. You're voiceless?" I'll meet you afterwards. And yes. They would know its me if I would speak.
"It was so nice to meet you, friend." Thanks for not blowing my cover. I own you! Luke smiled and nod his head showing me to move to the next person.
I met all my other friends and took photos, and it was so hard to hold back and not say anything. They were so nice! Finally I stood before Vanoss. My best friend.
"Hey. What's up?" I looked into his brown eyes and my heart started beating so fast, my hands started to shake. I gulped and took a deep breath before writing down: Hi! I'm your biggest fan. I'm so excited to finally meet you. I handed him the note and he glanced over me with smile.
"Its my honor to meet my biggest fan. What's your name?" I knew he doesn't recognize me. On one hand I was glad, but on the other hand I wanted to talk to him.
What's my name? Fuck.
I wrote down first name that I could think off. I'm Charles. Can I have a question? He nodded his head after he read my note.
"Sure. Go ahead." I smiled. Where is Delirious? I handed him the note and he sighed. I noticed how sad he looked at that moment. I wanted to hug him so bad. In he blink of an eye he smiled back at me. I knew he's faking it.
"Delirious couldn't make it. But trust me, he tried. And he would be happy that you asked about him." I started to write again. Shame. I think you and him are best.
"Yeah, we are. Don't be down about his absence though. I'm here." He said with smile. Sorry for being so pushy, but have you ever met him face to face? He frowned after my note and I tried scan his mood.
"Actually no. He's my best friend and I respect his privacy." He sounded so sad. I'm sorry. Well can I have a photo with you?
"Of course!" I took a few pictures and it filled my heart with joy. Remember. I'm here if he will bail on you. I would be honored to play with you and the others. Can I hug you? He sighed and stood up. I hugged him and in that that moment I didn't want to let him go.
"Hey Vanoss... they're closing this panel in about 5 minutes." My moment with Vanoss faded when Lui came to us. He pulled away from me and smiled.
"I'm sorry. We have to go now, but I'll remember what you said, Charles." I quickly wrote my last sentences. Thank you again, for everything. And please don't be sad about Delirious. I know he wouldn't want you to be.
I walked away and after a few minutes rang my phone.
V: We are done with panel. I think they recorded it, so it'll be available to see. Btw. many fans asked about you.
D: I'm so looking forward to see that! I'm sorry. I'll think about something to make it up for you. Hope you're enjoying it there. Cartoonz is talking only about it.
V: Sure I'm. Just missing you, that's all. I'll text you later.
I decided to spend rest of the day by playing games.
