Aashi entered inside the hall and saw nilam and malvika meeting rest family members, she stood beside sharda
"It's been so long" shashidhara said taking seat beside nilam
"Yes kakisa,actually i was in Malaysia for six months" nilam said
"And what about you malvika" nandni asked
"Actually aunty i was also out of town" malvika said with smile
"Now you have to live here for atleast fifteen days" nandni said
"Fifteen " malvika said in shock "no no aunty i have to leave for Germany for my project" malvika said
"That's not fair" nandni said
"I'll come soon to stay i promise" malvika said pinching her throat
Aashi and sharda were listening them without interrupting
"Excuse me,dadisa i have to checkout the arrangements for holika dahan,can i go" aashi asked in her soft tone
"Yes beta" shashidhara said
Aashi,after nodding left
An evening came in no time. Maanveer parked his car and came out,opening his room door,he saw his beautiful wife getting ready for pooja. Wearing red lehenga with minimal makeup, jewelleries on every part of her body. She raised her eyes and saw his starring her,she blushed and turned
"You came" she asked
Maanveer didn't said anything but started taking steps towards her,with each step of his,her heart was beating fast and fast. Her breaths went uneven with his intense gaze. Aashi clutched her dupatta tightly. Maanveer stood infront her,she can smell his perfume. Maanveer leaned down and cupped her cheeks,in no time,his lips met hers. She closed her eyes and clutched his shirt tightly, maanveer was kissing her passionately, she too was enjoying. After some minitues, he left her. She opened her eyes and maanveer kissed her forehead
"You're looking breathtaking jaana" he complimented
"Thank you" she said blushing
"Sorry you have to apply lipstick again" he said rubbing her lips with his thumb
"It's okay" she said
"Where's my clothes" he asked
"It's in closet,go and get ready fast I'm outside" she said
"Okay" he said
"And yes,don't forget that we have to click pictures together" she said pouting
"Okay madam,I'll be there soon" he said and left
Aashi too left
Aashi was preparing for pooja,maanveer came wearing traditional kurta with mirror work on it. He was coming outside rolling his sleeves,but bumped with malvika
"Oh I'm so sorry"maanveer apologized
"It's okay maan,even I'm sorry" malvika said
"When did you came" maanveer asked
"In morning, you were in office i guess" malvika said
"Oh yes" he replied, his eyes were searching for aashi
"So,how's life going" she asked
"Hm...umm...yes perfect" he said looking everywhere
"That's good,let's take a selfie" she said and raised her phone
Maanveer finally saw aashi
"Two minitues malvika" he said and about to leave but she held his arm tightly
"Look at here maan" she said and eventually maanveer looked at screen
Aashi turned and saw malvika taking selfie with maanveer,her face fell down a bit. Maanveer and her eyes met. Maanveer excused himself and approached aashi. She smiled looking at him
"How's I'm looking" he asked
"As always handsome" she complimented with gentle smile
"Let's take a photo" he said and removed his phone from his pocket
"Not here veer,guests are started coming" aashi said
"So what let them see,we have official license" he said and she shook her head
"Aarav" maanveer called out aarav who was busy talking with mishka
"Yes bhaisa coming" he said and came
"Click a photo" he said giving his phone to aarav
"It's okay bhaisa,i have a good quality in my phone and beside of that i already clicked my picture,thanks" aarav said
"I'm taking about my and aashi's photos" maanveer said
"Ohh sorry sorry'" aarav said and took maanveer's phone
Maanveer put his right hand on aashi's waist and another on in pocket, aashi was first shy but then she too covered his waist from back. But before aarav can Click a picture,they heard shashidhara's voice
"Let's come,it's time to start the pooja" she said in loude voice
Aashi and maanveer looked at eachother
"Let's go" she said and removed her hand
"It will take a minitue jaana" he said holding her hand tight
"No veer dadisa will get angry please" she said wiggling her hand
Maanveer rolled his eyes and left her,she instantly left. Bit of anger was visible on his face. Maanveer took his phone from Aarav's hand and left. Aarav too shook his head and left
Maanveer reached and saw aashi standing infront of holika dahan,he stood beside her without saying anything aashi looked at him but he didn't looked at her
In some time,pooja started. Everyone did pooja and took blessings,maanveer took a pinch of sindoor and filled aashi's forehead, she raised her head
"Happy holi jaana" he said
"Happy holi veer" she said
"Won't you colour me" he asked
"But bhuasa said you don't like playing holi" she said
"I love every festival, every minute, every second and everyday when you're with me" he said
Aashi's heart skipped a beat,maanveer gestured her to colour him. Aashi took a pinch of color and was about to apply but malvika came running and applied color to him first
"Happy holi veer" malvika said cheerfully
Maanveer and aashi looked at eachother,maanveer face turned red
"Malvika you know i don't like playing holi and another thing,it's maanveer for you" he said and left in anger
Aashi too placed a plate aside and left. Aashi locked the door and saw maanveer coming out from closet,he changed his clothes. Aashi sat infront of mirror and started removing her jewelleries. Maanveer approached her and made her stand,she looked direct into his intense eyes
"What has happened" he asked holding her wrist tight
"Nothing" she replied shrugging her shoulders
"Than why are you not talking" he asked
"Because you didn't asked anything,ab hum koi pagal to hai nahi jo aise hi kuch bhi bolte rahenge" she said
"Are you upset" he asked
"No" she said moving her head to another direction
"Khaiye kasam humari" he said
"Hume kya fark padta hai ke humare husband ke saath koi bhi photo le,koi bhi aake humse pehle rang laga jaye" she said looking into his eyes
Maanveer rolled his eyes in frustration, aashi freed herself from his hold and left,maanveer kicked chair with his foots
Maanveer was sitting on bed leaning back,aashi came changing her clothes. Maanveer tapped something on her phone and she heard some song

He came out of nowhere and pulled her on his chest,she looked at him and he started singing lyrics

Aashi jerked his hand and took steps towards bed while singing the lyrics and sat on bed

Maanveer chuckled and sat on floor infront her,holding her hands

Maanveer laughed hard and kissed her hands
"I didn't know my jaana would be this jealous" he said
"I'm not jealous" she said and rolled her eyes
"Yes yes Ofcource" he said nodding
"I'm not jealous veer" she said in irritation
"Okay got it,you're not jealous" he said and kissed her cheeks
"But promise me,you won't let anyone to color you before me tomorrow" she said showing him her index finger "aap par pehla haq humara hai,sirf humara" she added and pout
Maanveer chuckled
"Okay,i promise. But what if dadisa will try to color me" he asked
"In that case it's okay,i mean anyone from our family can colour you but not any outsider" she said
"Okay,it means dadisa,baba,kakasa,kakisa,dadasa,aarav,bhuasa,nilammasisa and malvika...." he teased her
"Veer just shut up" she said in annoyance
"Okay okay sorry" he said and kissed her cheeks
"Let me sleep now,i have to wakeup early tomorrow" she said
"Okay" he said and they both laid on bed
Next morning, maanveer wokeup and saw aashi roaming here and there wearing white lehenga in room. He stood up rubbing his eyes
"Good morning jaana" he wished
"Good morning veer" she said searching something in drawer
"What are you searching" he asked
"Nothing,you go and get ready fast. Guest has started arriving" she said
"Okay" he said and went to washroom
