Ever since the Maximoff's siblings joined the Avengers, the team really became better in terms of strategy and combat. What makes it even better that they get along with the team as well, except the twins' younger brother, Y/N, who still hold a grudge against Tony. Although too young to remember, he got told by his big brother and sister that they were hiding under the bed when a bomb got in their house.
Every time Y/N got reminded by that day, the day that their parents died, the day that he and his siblings became orphans, the day that Pietro and Wanda got put in the role of caregivers of him, Y/N gets mad. And since the bomb came from Stark industry, he and his siblings blamed him, but unlike them, Y/N never get manage to get over his grudge.
And thus, ever since the Maximoff's joined the Avengers, Y/N sneakily tries to 'get vengeance' on Tony. Sometimes he 'accidently' attacked Iron Man during the heat of battle. Sometimes he put poison in Tony's food. Sometimes he sabotages one of Tony's machines. Whatever Y/N did, it didn't work, since for whatever reason, Tony gets lucky and manage to avoid even the tiniest of inconvenience... until one day as everybody from the team except Tony and Y/N in the meeting room, all sitting around the table.
"Tony barely survived; however, it's going to take severely weeks, possibly months before he wakes up from the coma." Steve announces from what he got from the doctors. Pietro and Wanda stay quiet, not knowing what to say. They thought Y/N was fine with the current state, but they were wrong.
"So..." Sam looks everybody, knowing full well this is going to be the major discussion today. "What are we going to do about Y/N?"
"We talk to him." Pietro answers. "We make sure he wouldn't do this again."
"Your little brother almost killed Tony." Rhodey merely replies with his tone mad.
Pietro doesn't like what Rhodey wants to happen with Y/N. "And what do you suggest?"
"I don't want someone that is actively hurting us in the team, or in the building." Rhodey demands.
Pietro and Wanda frowns at him. "If Y/N leaves, then we will too." The red head insists.
"Maybe we should think of something else?" Clint suggests. "Like... I dunno... he can clean the kitchen?"
Rhodey cocks his eyebrow. "Clean the kitchen? Seriously?"
"It was just a suggestion." Clint replies. "I meant it as something in that direction."
"Yeah, let's make the guy that almost killed Tony clean the kitchen. That surely makes things right." Rhodey sarcastically responds.
"Before we think about something, we should consider the goal." Steve speaks up again. "When Tony comes back, we have to make sure Y/N wouldn't do this again. Thus, we make sure Y/N doesn't want to hurt him again."
"As long he doesn't get out, or do something drastic, I'm fine with that." Pietro says.
After some thinking without talking, Natasha got an idea that may help Y/N. "I got an idea, but first we need to understand the way Y/N thinks." Everybody looks at her. "Y/N grew up in Sokovia, a country that was hurt thanks to war, which Stark's weapons got used. It also doesn't help that Pietro, Wanda and he were trapped for two days and only saw a Stark bomb. Pietro, Wanda, I imagine that you two would blame Stark for what happened."
"Yes... we did." Wanda replies.
"And since grew up with his older siblings, he would whole heartly agree with them and learned to hate Stark, probably from a young age. It also doesn't help that they joined HYDRA. So in a nutshell, Y/N was taught for years to hate Stark." Nat concludes.
"And what are we going to do about it?" Clint wonders what her point is.
"Y/N needs to wider his horizon. He needs to be challenged to think another way, and the best way to do that is by his surroundings." Natasha replies.
"In other words, we need to hang out with him?" Steve questions, unsure that would help Y/N.
"Yes, but there is something else. Since Y/N is new, he probably feels out of place. It doesn't help that he's also a foreigner. So, we need to get to know Y/N better, but even so, he probably still feels out of place, since we aren't around his age." Nat adds.
"So, we need someone that is around Y/N age?" Wanda asks.
"Easier said than done." Sam is unsure about the plan. "First, everybody in the world knows he's an Avenger, so he still feels out of place since the friend is not. Secondly, who is going to be his friend in the first place?"
Natasha grins. "I know someone."

"He looks... solitary."
At the living room, Peter is looking at the loner called Y/N, who's looking tv shows. Natasha, Pietro and Wanda are with him, trying to encourage him to befriend Y/N.
"That's just how he always looks." Wanda brushes Peter's concerns away. "He's sweet once you get to know him."
Peter looks back at Y/N, who doesn't look approachable. "Uhh..."
"How about this? I'm going to start a conversation, and you chime in." Pietro suggests with a grin.
"Uh... okay."
"Good. Now, the best for way to make Y/N talking is rough housing with him first."
Wanda raises an eyebrow, as does Natasha. "Pietro, I don't think-"
Pietro merely walks over to Y/N, who's back is turned against his brother. "Hey slowpoke!" Y/N looks behind him to see his brother. "You, me, and your ass kicked, right now!"
Y/N chuckles. "Bite me."
Pietro jumps on top of his younger brother and the two begin to playfully fight on the floor, as the other three looks awkwardly at the scene.
"I read people a lot, but I never imagine Y/N would... enjoy this." Natasha gives an odd look at Y/N who is grabbing Pietro's hair, who is yelling in pain.
"I doubt this will ever change..." Ever since they were young, Y/N and Pietro enjoyed rough housing against each other. Wanda never understood why they enjoy this. "Okay, I think it's time to stop." Wanda walks over the two and forces them to stop by using her magic by grabbing one of their ears.
"Ow! Ow! Ow!" Y/N tries to grab his right ear as a red glow surrounds it.
"Ow! Shit!" Pietro complains alongside with his brother.
"Can you two stop?" Wanda asks.
"Yes!" Both guys yells.
"Good." Wanda releases the two guys, making them gasp and quickly grab their own ears. "Now that you two calmed down, I want you to meet someone Y/N. C'mon here." Wanda gestures Peter to move at her side. When he's standing next to him, he looks nervously at Y/N, who doesn't seem to be interested. "Y/N, I want you to meet Peter. He's around your age."
"'Kay."
Wanda and Pietro look at each other, somewhat disappointed with Y/N's reply. Natasha is merely on the side, waiting and look how things turns out. Peter merely stays silent, awkwardly looking around.
"Well, how about you two..." Pietro look at Y/N's bored face. "How about we three hang out?"
"Okay."

And so, the three boys are at the food court inside of the Avengers base. The three ordered some food alongside drinks and sit down somewhere peacefully outside.
"So tell me something about yourself, Peter." Pietro tries to find something incoming with him and Y/N.
"Uh... I go to Midtown high. My grades are quite good. And-"
"And what about hobbies?" Pietro tries to change the conversation since Y/N can't barely talk about school.
Peter gives him a confused look. "I like to watch movies."
"Good to know. Y/N does so too." Pietro gives his little brother a pat on his back.
"You do?"
"Yeah."
"Which ones do you like to watch."
Pietro smiles a bit as there seems to be growth in the situation. Though his smile quickly drops as Y/N gives a dumb answer.
"The good ones."
"Well... Do you like Star Wars?" Peter asks.
"I said I watch good movies." Y/N brutally answers rather casually. Peter let out a sad frown in respond, not happy his favorite franchise to get roasted.
"You gotta be..." Pietro mutters to himself, cursing by the process. Though he's quick to regain his composer and looks back at Y/N. "What do you watch then? Specifically." He added the last part just so Y/N to give a proper answer.
"Have you ever seen The Shining?"
Pietro bangs his head on the table. Peter uncomfortable looks around, not really knowing what to say. "Why of all movies...?"

Hours passed, and it appears Y/N and Peter has nothing in coming at all. Besides their age, there is nothing they both like. Not with their tastes in movies, music or even video games. And that is just a short list. As the begins to end, Pietro gives up, at least for today. He gets to the living room, where he meets up with Wanda.
"How did it go?" Wanda looks away from her book and looks at the other side of the room as she sees Pietro walking in.
"I think a snail and a dinosaur could be better friends then those two."
Wanda looks disappointed. "That bad?"
"Peter's favorite game is Jedi: Fallen Order. Takes a wild guess what's Y/N."
Wanda sighs. "Did he mentioned again how great Doki Doki Literature Club is?"
"In detail. Too. Much. Detail." Pietro complains. He walks over to the couch, plops down on it next to his twin sister. "You can't imagine how uncomfortable Peter was when Y/N brought up that one scene where the girl killed herself."
"I told him to stop saying that." Wanda frowns. She closes her book and puts it down on the table. "So, what now?"
"I guess we give up the idea for Y/N needing a friend. We just have him to change... some other way."
Both adults stop talking as Y/N enters the room. He's wearing his jacket, looking ready to go out. Not just that, it appears he heads to the exit of the room to get out of the building.
"Where are you going?" Wanda asks.
"In the city. I got a date." Y/N says with a smug smile, seeing his older siblings looking surprised.
"You got a date!?" Pietro yells.
"Yeah, and faster than you ever could."
"Shut up." Pietro looks unhappy by Y/N's sassy comment.
"And who's the lucky person?" Wanda wonders.
"Peter."
"Peter!?" The twins yell in chorus.
"I thought you disliked him." Pietro adds, looking very confused.
"No, why should I?"
"Because you barely hit off."
"Wait, you thought that?" Pietro and Wanda merely wonder if Y/N viewed his moments with Peter very differently. "I thought we hit off quite well."
"H-How? Like seriously, HOW?" Pietro looks slightly frustrated.
"Well, I just called him cute when he was ready to leave. And we flirted a bit... well, at least I flirted. And then asked him on a date and he accepted." Y/N casually answers. "Anyway, got to go. I'm going to secure my future husband." Without waiting for a respond, Y/N walks away, leaving Wanda surprised and Pietro speechless.
"I guess things turned well in the end." Wanda smiles a little as she watches Y/N leave. After a second for a comment of Pietro, she looks back at her brother. "Pietro?"
"How the hell...!?"
