There prevailed a silence in all of them. Aarav spoke to Vihaan in a stern voice, " I will talk to you later. For now go from here ". Vihaan left from there.
Navya was also about to go. Aarav said ," I didn't ask you to go. I have to talk to you right now ". Navya stammered , " Sir ,wo mein....... ".
Aarav said , " How dare you to reject my brother's proposal this way ". A shiver ran down through Navya's spine hearing his harsh tone.
Navya felt a loss of word. Next moment, Aarav's tone softens and he said , " You expected me to react this way, right ? ".
Navya slowly spoke ," No sir it was just that ".
Aarav replied ," Actually it is not your fault. I always shared a kind of super strict image in front of you. You are not obliged to share your personal issues with me. But here it is related to my brother. So I have right to know it. "
Navya said , " Sir, but I don't have any feelings for him. ".Aarav said, " You have already clarified it. I want to know what happened that day from beginning to end ".
Then Navya told him entire story accurately. Aarav was left shocked at every phase to it. Either it is Vihaan's sudden proposal or Navya's blames on him. Last but not least Vihaan's decision not to bother her anymore which he is still following.
Aarav put both his arms on his head and said, " Hey bhagwan ye kya kar liya hai ,tum dono ne." Navya replied, " It just happened in the heat of moment ".
Aarav said ," Ye jo heat of moment mein tumne or mere iss not so innocent brother ne jo bhi kiya hai. Usko solve karte karte mera bhi sar ghum jana hai ".
Navya said , " Sir mujhe wo topic dobara reopen nahi karna ab. Mein bas ye chahti hu ki wo mujhe khud ko explain karne ka mauka dena chahti hu ki mein uske saath kyu nahi reh sakti ".
Aarav said , " Galti tumhari nahi hai. Uski image hi kuch is type ki hai ki koi bhi ladki usse as a permanent one nahi imagine nahi kar paegi. Even though he is my brother. Wo relationships ko leke jyada seriously leta nahi tha kabhi. Par tumhe hurt kar ke jo wo khud hurt hua he really made me believe ki he is actually serious about you ".
Navya said , " But sir ......... ". Aarav cut her off in between and said ,"I don't know whatever you had in your past relationship. But the conclusion was that you suffered due to your partner. But it doesn't mean that every boy you meet is gonna cheat on you. At a certain point of time , everyone needs a partner. A relationship can only sustain when you are able to trust your partner. I am definitely not saying that you should end up choosing the wrong person and blind trust him."
Navya said , " Even though I don't have feelings for him. But I literally mean it when I am saying I am guilty of hurting him. I wish there could be a in between option where I don't have to accept his proposal and also don't have to endure this hate from his side ".
Aarav replied , " If you are afraid to be with him, only cause you think he might cheat on you. Then I assure you he can be anyone but not someone who cheats and the day you feel that he did it. I will be the one who bring him to your feets."
Navya said ," He is not the one at fault. I am thankful for your gesture. But I don't think , we can sustain together. My insecurities won't let me live happily with him. Even though he may give his best efforts in all this. I don't feel I will be able to love someone the same way I used to do. His love may be pure ,but he entered my life a little later. Now I am not in a state to accept his love ".
Aarav said, " But listen to me ..... ". Navya said , " Sorry sir, but I think there is nothing further to discuss about it. I am grateful that you let me share my thoughts freely here and I am sure one day he will understand my reasons to deny his proposal and may be forgive me for my misbehaviour."
Aarav said, " Okay ,this decision is up to you. But if someone asks my personal opinion then I think for once you should give him one chance to prove his love for you. I think he deserve it ".
Navya replied , " He is not even talking to me. I think he hates me now." Aarav replied, " Give him some time, I will talk to him. All the misunderstandings will be cleared soon ".
Navya said ," Thank you so much. Can I leave now ? ". Aarav said ," Yeah , you can go now ". She left the room. Aarav picked up his phone and dialed Vihaan's number and cut off the call saying ," In my cabin right now ".
Vihaan had put the speaker on his phone while being with Aarohi. After cutting the call, he spoke to Aarohi , " Dekha maine kaha tha bhai ka gussa out of control ho chuka hoga, na jane ab mera kya hoga ".
Flashback starts.
Vihaan came out of his cabin. He was stressed due to whatever happened inside and now it is clear that Aarav knew whatever between him and Navya. He felt a pissed of situation.
His P.O.V.-
I wish we don't had twinned today. Now I have to face all this. I don't know what she is going to tell my brother and how he is gonna react. He must be fuming in anger after all what I had done. I need a life saving trick and calm down his anger.Wait a minute, yeah I got the idea who can throw ice on my hot headed brother. My one and only friend Aarohi.
He went to Aarohi and told him entire story at once. Aarohi was also shocked as Aarav did ,but she had to accept the truth anyhow.
Flashback ends..
Aarohi said , " Ha ,lag to aisa hi raha hai ". Vihaan replied ," Mere future mein hone wali bhabhi bhaiya ka gussa zara shant karao na ".
Aarohi said, " Tumhara sahi hai pehle karname kar ke unhe gussa dilaoge aur gusse par pani dalne ke liye inhe bhabhi yaad aayegi ".
Vihaan cutely pouted and said , " Please na, kuch karo. Tum ab party badal ke bhai ki side na chali jao ". Aarohi started laughing and said , " Acha acha dekhti hu ".
Aarav was sitting in his cabin. When someone knocked the door. Aarohi came inside the room. Aarav asked , "Tum yaha par ?".
Aarohi asked , " can't I come here? ".Aarav murmured under his breath ," You are made to rule my heart. So how am I supposed to give instructions to my queen ".
Aarohi curiosily asked ,"You said something ". Aarav replied , " Actually I was waiting for Vihaan.I had asked him to meet me ".
Aarohi said, " Actually I am here to talk about same thing ". Aarav replied ," Don't say you are here to take his side ". Aarohi said ," What if I say yes ?".
Aarav said ," Then all your efforts are going to be in vain ". Aarohi said with a playful smile , " Lets see ". Aarav huffed in annoyance , " You are distracting me ,right now ".
Aarohi's P.O.V.-
His eyes speak about his love for me more louder than his words. I don't know what this stage is , but I am loving it where you both love each other, but none of us is confessing. But one thing ruin these moments and that is awkwardness. I want to make my best efforts to remove it from our relationship. It's high time to bid goodbye to barriers and get drowned in this ocean of love.
Aarohi looks deeply in his eyes , " Its your fault Mr. Singhania , if you are getting distracted by your employee". After saying this she was about to leave from cabin.
Before she could leave, he quickly grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards him leading their fronts to collide while his hand made his place to her waist.
He gently leaned towards her ears. She felt his hot breaths on her neck .He whispered in his ears, " So bold if you assume that I would have let you leave this easily ". Her breath got hitched listening to his words.
Aarav said, " Breath Miss Sharma ". Aarohi tried her best to hide her flushed cheeks from him. She felt a loss of words at current point of time.
Aarav's P.O.V.-
Oh god ! My effect on her. I will definitely not lie her smallest action melts me like butter.No matter how hard she is trying to hide blush on her face. But I am saying all her efforts are going in vain. She looks like a beetroot right now. But looking really cute. If she keeps blushing and look this cute everytime. I will definitely tease her everyday to witness this scenario.
Aarav slowly moved away from her, " Don't start something , which you can't end. These tease games are not your cup of tea , Miss sharma ".
Aarohi said, " I think its time to prove clear your misconception ". Aarav furrowed his eyebrow and asked , " But how ?".
Aarohi said, " Uhm.... Stop being impatient ". Aarav said , " I think you are being a perfectionist in tangling me in puzzle of your words, Am I right ? ".
She ignored his question and tiptoed on her toes to match his height and placed a small peck on his cheek. She said , " Now you better not say that I only know games of words".
Aarav didn't know how to react to it. His ears turned red due to blushing. Aarohi chuckled while saying , " You look cute ,being a blushy mess ".
Aarav's P.O.V.-
I think I am dreaming. She kissed me ,no way it is for real. Her lipstick mark is right now on my cheeks. She marked me as her for forever now. My heart is squealing in excitement. I want to engulf in a bone crushing hug. Control yourself Aarav Singhania, I can't let her know about her effect on me right now.
Aarav straightened his posture and said while clearing his throat , " Who said I am blushing ? ". Aarohi bit his lower lip to stop her smile.
While grinning , she spoke ," Stop defending yourself , you know it really well. You were blushing ". Aarav took a deep breath and said, " Acha tum jeeti mein haara ".
Aarohi replied , " Sun kar acha laga". Aarav murmured under his breath , " Ye to ek choti si argument hai , tumpe to apna dil haar gaye hum".
Aarohi raised her eyebrow and asked , " kuch kaha aapne ? ". Aarav replied , " Aap haarne ki saza bataiye hume ."
She sensually traced her finger from his forehead to his jaw and stopped there and said , " Yahi ki aap Vihaan ko nahi datne wale. Deal with him politely , please ".
She made a puppy face while blinking her eyes numerous times to appear more innocent. Aarav said , " Nahi daatne wala usse mein , kam se kam samne to aaye mere wo ".
Aarohi said , " I will talk to him. But promise me , you won't scold him ". Aarav nodded for a yes in response. Soon she left from there.
Time skips..........
Vihaan entered his cabin. He was little nervous that Aarav is surely upset from him. Aarav gestured him to sit with his eye moments.
Vihaan sit on the chair placed in front of Aarav's seat. Vihaan said , " Bhai , please let me explain for once. I won't distrub her anymore. Infact I am doing it ,now I don't know why she wants to bother me again after yelling on me ".
Aarav said , " Have I asked you for any justification ? ". Vihaan gulped in fear and replied ," No ". Aarav said , " So you better not give it and answer all my questions quietly ".
Aarav asked , " Do you love her ? ". Vihaan became silent for a moment. After inhaling a deep breath and saying ," Yes ".
Aarav asked , " Then why are you loving her midway ? ". Vihaan replied , " He doesn't respect me as person. The way she blamed me that day. She will never love me. So I decided to give her space she needed ".
Aarav said , " But as far as I know you never give up on the girl you are even a little attracted and you left her when she talked to you rudely for once ".
Vihaan said , " kyuki wo ladkiya attraction thi. Par wo koi attraction nahi mere liye , pyaar hai wo mera. Maine dekha hai uski aakhon mein wo dard jo meri wajah se huya hai. Uska dum ghut raha tha , mere saath uss din. Door reh kar uski nafrat seh lunga mein , par paas ja kar uski pareshaniyo ka kaaran nahi ban sakta ".
Aarav softened his expressions and said , " Itna pyaar karte ho us se ? ". Vihaan said , " Apne pyaar ko mein naap to nahi sakta hai jo uske liye mere dil mein hai , par itna samajh lo , itna serious mein aaj tak kisi ke liye hua nahi tha. Jitna uske liye hua tha. Par wo nafrat karti hai mujhse ".
Aarav said , " Wo to dikh hi raha hai ,ki uske liye tum kitne serious ho gaye ho. Par ab uss se hi baat nahi karna chahte ". Vihaan said , " Bas ab yahi mujhse na ho sakega ".
Aarav curiousily asked , " Par kyu ? ". Vihaan asked , " Agar maine fir se uss se baat ki , mera dil pighal jaega uski aakhon mein dekh kar. Aur aise mein mera decision tut jaega ki mein kabhi dobara uski life mein enter karunga."
Aarav said , " But you should talk to her atleast once and sort out things ". Vihaan said , " How do I explain you , I will never let her go ,if I had even a single conversation with her ".
Aarav replied , " Who told you to let her go ". Vihaan asked in an surprising tone, " You are saying this to me ? ". Aarav said, " Yeah I am saying this because for the first time my heart suggests that I should trust you in the matter of a girl and I also saw the pain and regret in her eyes after hurting you ".
Vihaan said , " But now it is not possible ,we are not gonna be together in any condition. Please don't give me fake hopes. Later it will not be easy to bind my self together again when she may again broke my hurt feelings with some harsh words ".
Vihaan's P.O.V.-
I am feeling a pang in my heart right now. How helpless person I am here. My brother is suggesting me to fight for love of life. But it is of no use , it is crystal clear she had no feelings for me. I don't want me as a burden in your life and that day will never come when she welcomes me open heartedly in her life and accept my love for her. I know every little hope my brother is giving me right now will shatter me in the worst way in future. So it is better for me to stick to the decision I took to part ways with her rather than igniting the spark of love between two people who are not meant to stay together.
After speaking above statement in a disappointing manner. He got up from seat and about to leave. Aarav said , " Chale jao tum bhi uski zindagi se aise hi taaki usse ek aur reason mil jae sab ladko se nafrat karne ka. Ab tak to ladko ko blame karti aayi hai ki wo hi usse dhoka dete hai. Par agar aise hi sab log us ki life se achanak se gayab hote jaenge. Wo jaldi hi khud se nafrat karne lagegi ki us mein hi koi kami hai ".
Vihaan's steps halted when he heard Aarav's words. He quickly got back to Aarav . A lump formed in his throat.But he managed to ask with a heavy heart ," Was she cheated ? ".
Aarav said , " What if I say yes ? ". Vihaan declared , " I will bring that guy to her feets ". Aarav said , " In past even you had several relationships ".
Vihaan said , " I know those were casual relations. But I can proudly say one thing I never cheated on my partner. Aarav shrugged his shoulders and said ," She don't know it. But you always shared a playboy image. So it is obvious that she thought you are also gonna cheat on her. After making her fall in love with you ".
Vihaan said , " Oh ! Now I got the reason , why she reacted this way. She thinks that I am gonna use her like his past partner ". Aarav replied , " Exactly , she don't hate you. She hates relationships right now. She hates the feeling of being betrayed and she thinks maybe you can betray you in future ".
Vihaan said ," That is why she kicked me out of her life. Before I could start making place in her heart." Aarav said , " Yeah ,but it turned out more to be more ruder. She lost control over her words. She wants to apologize to you even though you freshened up her old wounds ".
Vihaan said , " But she could have told me everything. Aarav replied , "Really , when you have thrown out a sudden proposal on her as your feelings were exposed due to interference of a stranger ".
Vihaan said , " He was passing weird comments on her , bhai ". Aarav said ," You have right to fight for her, no one is gonna stop you. But to her it appears that you are attracted to her beauty and you know attraction definitely has ends. She felt you were trying to possess her and it felt like a cage as a relationship which she escaped years back ".
Vihaan said , " She suffered a lot right ? ". Aarav said , " And you are leaving her alone thinking she may get better while stayimg alone. She don't need peace in loneliness. She need a man who can show him what true love is ? ".
Vihaan said , " How can you say that man is me ? ". Aarav said , " You are a play boy who never believed in serious relationships. But today you believe in it. You love her and I don't doubt it anymore ".
Vihaan raised his eyebrow and asked ," What now ? ". Aarav said ," Now you are gonna heal the insecurities she got from past and made her believe that she deserves all the love ".
Vihaan said , " You think she will let me stay in her life even as a friend ? ". Aarav replied , " Apni saari dedication mujhe tease karne mejn lagani hai, thodi si uske dil jeetne mein laga kar dekho ".
Vihaan said , " Bhai wo nafrat karti hai ab mujhse. She will never reciprocate to my single effort." Aarav said , " Calm down ,last time you shared your feelings with her directly. You didn't share any bond with her thats why she felt uneasiness in trusting you. Right now , she is in a phase where she finds it difficult to trust anyboy it doesn't matter either it is you or someone else ".
Vihaan said , " Why do you think she will give me a second chance ? ". Aarav said , " May be when you decide to submit yourself to her before winning her as yours ".
Vihaan said , " Bhai aap confuse kar rahe ho mujhe ". Aarav said ," Pyaar mein selfless bana jata hai. Tum thode selfish ban gaye the. Khud ko usko aise hawale kardo usse vishwas ho jao tum par.Tumhare sab emotions usse aise jod do ki jis dil ko pathhar banane ki koshish kar rahi hai. Wo aise pighal jaye ki wo khud tumhare pyaar ko accept kar le ".
Vihaan said ," Par ye sab hoga kaise ? ". Aarav asked ," Ek baar last time puch raha hu agar uske saath relationship mein aaye to wo aakhiri ladki honi chahiye. Ek do hafto mein mujhe galti se bhi ye nahi sunna she is not your type or anything. Get it straight in your head if you tried to hurt her again. You have to face me before her anger. Is it clear ?"
Vihaan took a deep breath and said , " I never thought I will ever be able to say it. But today I can proudly say , if she shows even 10% interest in staying. I will make it up for 90% and make her my end point in search of love. I will prove my love for her at any cost ".
Aarav patted his back and said ," That sounds like brother of Aarav Singhania .A girl can get love and attention from thousand of boys ,but a loyalty are provided by real ones. So prove it to her that you are the real one for her. Win her trust to never break it not even in the worst scenario ".
Vihaan nodded and said , " I need to talk to her soon ". Aarav said ," Even she is waiting to talk to you. I hope both of you sort all the misunderstandings. All the best ".
Vihaan said , " Waise aapko bhi ek suggestion du mein ? ". Aarav curiousily asked , " kya ? ". Vihaan tried his best to control his laughter while he said , "Agli baar lipstick ko ache se hatana, wo mark to hat gaya hai. Par lipstick ka stain abhi bhi still present hai ".
Realisation hit Aarav as he removed the mark without help of mirror. So it may be possible it is not removed properly. But for him situation become really awkward.
Still he tried to pretend and said , " Kaisa lipstick stain ". Vihaan said , " I really don't want to involve in al this. But as you are pretending to be innocent then listen all it verbally ".
Aarav shrugged his shoulder and asked ," What ? ". Vihaan said , "The same lipstick which Aarohi had applied is present on your right cheek . You want me to explain it in more detail ?".
Aarav stoped him in between and said ," No ,it is alright ". Vihaan said with a proud smile ," Better , next time if you want to pretend innocent. Then please remove lipstick marks properly ,right brother ".
Aarav murmured under his breath ," Annoying creature ". Vihaan said , " Thank you so much. Waise ek baat batau ye smudge proof lipstick hai. Sirf pani se nahi jaegi , you need micellar water for it ".
In the next moment, Vihaan disappeared from the cabin. Aarav picked his phone and said , " Send some cotton and micellar water in my cabin ".
Later , when the stuff arrived he collected it making sure that no one else is able to see and remove it properly and said , " I wish I never had to take this mark off. But till we make it official, We had to be a little cautious. It was a little embarrassing before my brother , but for her I can bear any embarrassment ".
